4 Prophetic, Encouraging Words for You in This Season | by Jamie Rohrbaugh | FromHisPresence.comPrecious readers, I felt like Papa gave me these four prophetic, encouraging words for you today. Here are the words:

1. “There is a grace in this new season for beginning to walk in the ultimate thing you are called to do.

Grab onto that grace and take little steps as I show you the way. I will light up the path for you one day, one step at a time.”

Psalm 32:8: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”

2. “IF you will abide under My covering, you will feel My Holy Spirit hovering and brooding over you.

I will keep you safe and My glory will rest upon you. It’s all about covering. Your safety is found in clinging to Me. I am your Refuge, your Shield, your Defense, and your Everlasting Father.

Wait on Me. Don’t get ahead of Me. Walk, don’t run. Allow Me and My Word to propel you into the fullness of My promises. My Word will create the world of your dreams.”

Psalm 139:1-5: “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me.”

3. “You think I have forgotten you, but I have not.

I have hidden you in the palm of My hand. The silence you feel is the silence of My rest that I am giving you. Remember that I am morally perfect and I will work everything I allow you to go through for your highest good. TRUST. Give yourself the luxury of resting and abiding in My hand. No evil can reach you there.”

Psalm 91:4-12: “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.”

4. “I speak to mothers today, and I declare that your labor has not been in vain.

I have seen your heart beating for your children even in the darkest of nights. I will reward your labor. I AM your Shield, and your Exceeding Great Reward. Your work is not small in My Kingdom. You are raising up the foundations of many generations who will love Me and serve Me. And you are more than your motherhood; you are My beloved, My daughter. You are My delight, and in you I am well-pleased.”

Song of Solomon 2:10, 11, 14: “My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. … O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”

If one or more of these encouraging words spoke directly to your heart, would you leave a comment below and share? I’d love to hear how Papa is speaking to you.

Thank you so much Jamie for being sensitive to the Lord. I’m choosing to trust Him and His timing as I step into the destiny He has for me, and to no longer be bound by the past or fear in Jesus name! You are a blessing! I look forward to getting your words of wisdom.
    God bless your ministry!!

    1. Amen! Fear has no place in you, and the past is behind you. May you be filled with Papa’s perfect love, which casts out all fear today!
Thank you so much for your sweet encouragement. I really appreciate it, and I am grateful for you! 🙂

  3. Just what I needed to hear today!

    1. I pray Papa would encourage you today, Jennifer, and show you His strategies and His personal love notes all day today! Have a wonderful day!

  4. Wow! Numbers 1, 2, and 3 spoke directly to me and my situation. Especially number 3. In fact I had just sinned a very sore and grievous sin to my heart yesterday and he commanded me to leave work early. I spent the rest of that day just resting which is not what I do on a regular basis. I usually work up to the very last hour possible.

As a result of slowing down and resting I rejuvenated in him. Just like what he said in message number 3. And I have to say that when I don’t get myself anxious and worked up from working long hours I now see I tend to stay in the law of his presence instead of stepping out of it.

A good lesson learned and a great message. Thanks for hearing from him Jamie. I really appreciate it! God bless you.

    1. Thanks for sharing, Andrew. I pray Papa would continue to help you abide in Him and in His Word, which will both keep you from sinning against Him and also help you draw closer to Him and carry His glory.
Thank you for reading my blog, as always! Have a great day!

  5. Thank you Jamie. God really speaks to me through you.I will continue to pray that God will accelerate his promise of promotion to me, for He promised to work everything for my higher good!

    1. Amen! He sure has. I’m praying for acceleration too, so I’m right there withya. 🙂

Every word of these prophetic statements is being lived out in my life, Jamie. Your accuracy is part of a stream of Grace that has been poured out on me in the past three harrowing, amazing weeks. A surgery for one of our children that should have been uneventful gave rise to a series of more and more frightening events. God has guided people who probably never look to Him and He has led me, step by step, to avoid further pitfalls. But the sum of those medical mess-ups, and misconceptions, and conflicts, and individual decisions has produced an entirely unexpected, HUGE improvement in our son’s neurology. Plus, I have gained further knowledge about the way the ear can control such events as seizures. Today I will have the chance to share my perspective with the neurosurgeon who initiated this series of events that could have been disastrous. At one stage, I had the satisfaction of hearing one doctor say he respected by research and my point of view. Thank you for the confirmations that you have provided as I walk this guided Way.

  7. #1 & #3 resonated in my heart. I am going to send #4 to my sister, who is a mother of 2 little ones, and is often burned out.

I believe that Papa wants to shift some things around, and possibly even remove some things that I am not comfortable with losing, in order to free up more of my devotion to His calling on my life. I am terrified, but if He says I have the grace for it, then I have the grace for it.

I have endured a silence/hiddeness for a while now, and #3 moved me to remember the Lord’s compassion. This is connected to my needing a “shift” in my work situations, as I am overwhelmed with responsibility as of late. I have desperately needed rest, and Papa has been giving it to me. He is so, so good.

Thank you, Jamie, for relaying these awesome words from Papa. 🙂

    1. Kelsey, I hear you about the removing of some things you don’t want to lose. Papa has asked me to let go of some things–and people–like that sometimes. But He hasn’t always taken them away; sometimes He just required me to come to a place of surrender where I would LET Him take them away.

He asked me to give up a spiritual son and daughter once–two people I love very much. It was very hard. I knew it was the right thing to do, to send them into another ministry team/discipleship group because it might be a better fit for them than what I could provide; but I knew I would miss them so dreadfully. They truly have my heart. But I was driving down the road in my car, and this song came on my CD player:

It says “I will climb this mountain with my hands wide open… there’s nothing I hold onto.” And Papa touched my heart and I cried and cried. But I knew it was the right thing to do to let them go and send them out. They are His, not mine. I had poured my life into them, and had done my best for them, and they were ready for the next place.

So I commissioned them to go out into another person’s leadership even though I wanted them to stay with me so badly. And you know what? Although they appreciated it, they told me just a few days later that they weren’t going to go out after all. They were going to stay in my small group/ministry team because they wanted to.

I was overwhelmed. Papa is so good. He had to deal with me to make sure I don’t hold onto anything except Him too tightly, but in the end, He didn’t take away what I was willing to sacrifice after all.
      He’s a good, good Father.

      1. Amen!

This has helped more than you know. 🙂 Thank you so much!

I don’t want to lean on anything but my trust in the Lord, and I know that He is trustworthy! <3

  8. Jamie, When the Holy Spirit woke me up this morning this was on my heart. The Holy Spirit is hiding me and protecting me in the comfort of his wings. I am waiting on his direction and I have been at a stand still. This is the confirmation I needed to keep praying and waiting on him to direct me to where he wants me to go and what he wants me to do.
God Bless You with this prophetic gift and word as you continue to bless the masses.

    1. Hi Janice, wow. That’s amazing. Thank You, Papa, for speaking to Your kids. 🙂 And sister, I pray Papa would help you discern the next step in your process, and be able to take that step in confidence and faith, and may He boldly affirm your obedience with more blessing than you could ever have imagined He would. 🙂 In Jesus’ name!

  9. Thank you, Jamie. This was just what I needed today, especially #3, as I wait for the Lord to provide in His perfect timing. I have been thinking about what it was like as a child, not having to worry about my needs being met because my father took care of everything. If my earthly father took care of me, how much more can I trust our Father provide for all of my (our) needs! He knows, He sees, He has not forgotten.

    1. Amen! If we could all grasp how willing Papa is to provide for us, our hearts would be healed and fast.

  10. Eva Conner says:

Thank you for your post. It really spoke to me. Especially #1. God has been leading me to start a small group study for people who have never read the Bible before. I just started this past Tuesday and had 5 people! I was excited but I feel like the enemy has been pressing in hard. I just sowed a seed into your ministry by joining as a monthly partner and want to bless you so you can continue to do the good work you’re doing. Thank you!

    1. Yayyy!!! Eva, 5 people is awesome! That’s huge! I’m so excited for you. Stepping out like that is a huge deal. Thank you for letting me know!
Thank you so much for your partnership. I really appreciate that, and I pray Papa would multiply your seed back to you many times over, in Jesus’ name!

  11. Timely words! The past week at work has been a little challenging but Papa proved Himself strong on my behalf…even yesterday. And I am so thankful for that. The first three words spoke directly to me. I will remain plugged in to the Holy Spirit as I rest in The Lord. May Papa also continue to bless you and increase you more than ever for the wonderful works. ??

    1. Ab, I am so thankful Papa encouraged you. I’m sorry it took me so long to reply. I pray this week has gone better for you. Resting in the Lord is a huge key. You are right on. As you rest, He will work!
      Have a wonderful weekend!

  12. Thanks Jamie for these encouraging words. Indeed these words spoke to me as i am enduring the season that the Lord will see me through and trust in Him regardless what I see or feel right now and continue to persevere by leaning on Him completely. Thank you again. God bless you, your family and ministry.

  13. Numbers 1, 2, and 3 spoke to me. There is at least one major shift occurring in my life at this time and it’s regarding my purpose/calling. Thank you for these precious reminders. God bless you Jamie.

  14. ALL of these spoke to me! I’m weary and battle-worn… hoping I “feel” these words. Thanks for sharing!
