31 Days of Supernatural Encounters | by Jamie Rohrbaugh | free devotional series on FromHisPresence.comFor Day 21 of our 31 days of supernatural encounters (series index here), the Lord is inviting you back to the raw.

Read: Revelation 2:1-7

Know:

I heard Jesus say to you today:

“I am calling you back to the rawness. Back to the raw. Back to the passion you used to feel, before ministry became cold. Before you became a minister at all … the rawness you felt when all you were doing was ministering to Me.

Beloved son, beloved daughter, come back to the raw.

I invite you to come back to the times when you didn’t care if you were at church or in the field; you just wanted to sit with Me.

I invite you to come back to the times when you didn’t care if anyone knew you or not; you just wanted to worship Me.

I invite you back to the times when you opened your arms to Me and ran towards me across the field, joy all over your face.

I invite you to listen to the things you listened to before you didn’t have time.

To study like you studied before you got too rushed. And to hear Me, just for fun, just to share secrets with Me–the two of us, alone together, best friends whispering to each other.

I invite you back to the raw.

It’s time to give honor to the things I honored, like you did before people told you that you shouldn’t.

I invite you to focus on My face again, and on My heart, and on what I have anointed.

For what I have anointed is often different than what people say I have anointed, beloved.

You used to have more fire for Me, but time has snuffed it out, dulled it, or diminished it. People’s expectations have calmed the flames. Dealing with religious spirits has resulted in less fire for you, as you have been influenced without your knowing it.

Beloved, come back to the raw.

Sit with Me again. Let Me change your paradigm. Help Me help you. Break the spirit of python off–that evil spirit that has been strangling and choking the life and fire out of you.

Come back to the raw, My son. Come back to the raw, My daughter.

Come back to the intimacy of sitting one-on-one with Me. Nothing else matters. No one else is as important as Me. Bare your soul before Me, and let Me bare My heart to you.

We were meant to be together, you and I. Come back to the raw.”

Thank You, Jesus.

Are you ready to return to the rawness of your first love for Jesus? If so, pray this:

“Heavenly Father, I come before You in Jesus’ name. Father, I love You. Lord Jesus, I worship You. And I accept Your invitation to come back to the raw with You today.

Jesus, here I am. I bare my soul before You.

I want You and You only, Lord. I shake off every pre-conceived notion; I shake off every unholy perception; I shake off every expectation that other people have put on me.

Precious Lord Jesus, here I am. Have me for Yourself. Help me to be raw with You in every way again–no distance or space in between us. It’s all about You and me, and no one else between us.

Thank You, Lord Jesus. Thank You, Heavenly Father. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Listen:

Listen to Jason Upton sing “Fly”–with the accompaniment of an angel singing unexpectedly on the track with him. 🙂 (True story; read the testimony in the video description on YouTube.)

This is a song that brings me back to the raw–raw hunger for Jesus; raw love for Him; raw awe of who Jesus is. I pray you’d be transported into His presence as you listen.

Yes Jamie wow I have heard this also and the very first vision I had started with a dream and I dreamed it three nights in a row that I was standing at the edge of a cliff and after the third time I asked God why am I dreaming this and he took me into a vision and in the vision I was standing at the edge of a cliff and I stepped off and turned into an eagle who flew down in this deep dark revine than I came out and flew straight up until I was above the clouds and God said all the traumas and trials you have been through has made you strong enough to fly above the clouds . And he also told me like you come back to the zeal you once had when you comnuned with me

Dear Jamie, I remember when Jason Upton ministered in my church years ago. He has such a strong anointing on his music. I remember when I bought this CD and as I was listening to it while lying in bed, I didn’t know about the angels that were singing in the background. At the part when they first were heard, I recall feeling such a presence in my room, that I sat up in bed looking around wondering what I was experiencing. Then I read the CD cover where Jason explained what had happened while they were recording, where the Mic picked up the Angel voices worshipping along with him That is one experience I will never forget. Thanks for posting this song as it brought back such a wonderful memory of such a supernatural experience. Blessings, Maria

  3. I believe and receive.

    Jamie:

A few months back I was supporting your ministry financially but I’ve noticed for the last few months for some reason I’m not. But when I try to set up the donations again, it says email already in system and it won’t let me support you again. Please let me know what to do to change it.

    Thank you!

  5. Yes, my soul long for the intimacy I once had. And I have visions in the water with the Lord, but just could not , I felt like I was being held back, and this is conformation. I just was ministered to by a Pastor he said the same thing, and I’m going in to the deep waters no more letting anything hold me back.
Thank you Jesus, I’m going forward in Jesus name

  6. Yes Lord!!
    I love You!/

  7. Juanita Brooks says:

Thank You this ministered to me.
God uses your voice daily with the words I need. You are so real in ministry. Thanks. May God richly bless you is my prayer.

  8. Rebecca L Jones says:

It really is the time to worship and praise purely I am writing about angels all month, one will be about praise, probably Wednesday.

  9. Beautiful! I needed to hear this. Amen!

  10. Dear Jamie,
I’ve been following you for a short while. You have a fresh perspective on Gods word. I have learned much. You asked that comments be encouraging and keep a community togetherness attitude. I felt your comments about Joyce Meyer were counterproductive to your ministry. Believers will rarely agree 100% but should never disrespect a sister in Christ. Joyce Meyer is one of the best Bible teachers of today.

  11. Thanks for the prayer really need it just to connect with God the way I use to be. I don’t know what happened but truly I have been asking myself as I use to hear God talking to me and sometimes giving me some verses to read and that is no longer happening.

  12. Thank you for sharing such peace??❤️

  13. Although Jesus & God are in unity (John 10:30) the way the blog asks us to worship Jesus. Is that right? All knees will bow because we will recognize Jesus for who He is when He comes (Rev 14); however, even Jesus prayed to God. John 14:28 “…I cannot do a single thing on my own initiative… I seek the will of Him who sent me…the Father is greater than I am…”. Are we to worship Jesus or are we to worship God while acknowledging Jesus as His son & our savior. John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. Even though we only come to God through Jesus (John 14:6), God still must be acknowledged.

    1. Jesus IS God, Jess. Yes, we are to worship Him. Scripture is clear about this. We are to worship God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit equally.
      Blessings,
      Jamie
