Prophetic Word: An Invitation to Obsession with God

The Lord says to you today:

“I love you with an everlasting love. With great mercies I have covered you with My hand and hidden you under the shadow of My wing. You may think that you have been alone, but you have not. I have been right here with you all of the days of your life.

The days are coming in which you will seek Me and find Me at even greater and deeper levels than you ever have before.

I long to encounter you in these deeper ways, for I love you and have inscribed you on the palm of My hand. And in these days of deeper encounters with Me, you will get to know Me in ways you have not ever experienced Me before.

All it takes is hunger.

Ask Me to make you hungry and thirsty for Me and for My Son Jesus. Ask Me to make you long for My Spirit and for greater encounters with Him. Even more than that, implore Me to make you hungry not only for momentary encounters, but for a deeper level of abiding.

Encountering Me is not supposed to be a temporary event. My Spirit lives within you and My Son dwells within you as well. I am in Jesus and Jesus is in Me, so that means I dwell within you also. This is not a temporary situation; no man can take you out of My hand!

I am so engrossed in My love for you that I think about you all the time. I dwell within you all the time. I am constantly at work on your behalf, and I am with you to keep you every moment of every day.

Do you think that this kind of love can lift and depart? No, it cannot!

My obsession with you is not a temporary thing; it is an eternal thing! And as such, I desire to encounter you constantly; to live with you in My face and My face in yours. I desire for you to gaze at My eyes, looking deeply within them, at all times–not merely for us to visit one another and then depart from one another’s presence.

Will you love Me like that? I invite you to do so!

I am freely inviting you right now to become obsessed with Me. There’s no such thing as being too spiritual. There’s no such thing as being too in love with Me. Being in love with Me is good and right, and when you love Me like that, My love for you and yours for Me will spill over into everything you do!

Are you contending for total transformation? Then start with transforming your level of abiding in Me. Begin with hiding My Word in your heart, that you might not sin against Me. As you do, pray continually to burn with the hottest fire of love for Me. 

I am inviting you into encounter with Me that never ends.

You do not come in and go out of My presence. I am everywhere at all times; I am always with you. So you can have as much or as little knowledge of Me as you desire, for I am with you always, even unto the end of the world and beyond.

I am always available to you, so it’s easy to access Me–but never let Me become commonplace to you because of My constant nearness. I am not commonplace; I am holy and wholly different than anything you see on earth, unless you are looking directly at Me and seeing only Me.

I desire you to hold Me in reverence.

I desire for you to revere Me and seek Me with everything you are and everything you have. I desire for you to become as obsessed with Me as I am with you. Pray for that specifically; ask Me to help you become so! 

The seeking of My heart will always benefit you. The time you spend pursuing Me is time well invested. You are the apple of My eye, and I desire to become the Apple of your eye as well. The love that I have for you deserves that kind of love in return.

I desire only the best for you, and that Best is Me.

Return to Me with everything you have and with all that you are. You will never regret loving Me and seeking Me. I have things for you that you know not of, but those things are secondary to the joy of knowing and loving Me in all My fullness.

I am waiting for you. Will you come to Me today? Will you encounter Me all day, with all the passion of your heart? I believe you will, and I am waiting for you.
