Prophetic Word for You If You’re Busy

Beloved friend, have you been running yourself ragged? Have you been too busy, sacrificing your health and well-being for the rat race of getting things done? If so, this prophetic word is going to minister to you today.

I heard the Lord say:

“I am lessening the impact of the intense schedule you have put on your life. And I am helping you to see reason, and to rest more; for you do not have to go as fast as you have been, and I am helping you to see that.

I know that you want to get a lot done. But, when you try to work as hard as you do, I actually do less because you are dependent on your works. I know that is hard to hear, but it is true!

However, when you cannot cover for yourself with your works, I cover for you.

Yes, you have to be diligent; but it is important to know the difference between depending on Me and depending on your works. So, it is all right to get your house in order, and to take care of your health, and to minister to those in need, and to allow Me to do the rest. You can do these things by My grace!

For I am the Lord your God, and I have brought you out of the land of slavery and servitude, and I am giving you rest in this new land.

But you have not acclimated completely yet, even though you are doing well! And I am helping you to acclimate, in time; and the more you choose to rest in Me, the faster you will acclimate.

Beloved, this land is a land of prosperity of soul, as well as of body and pocketbook. And I am helping you to regain your mental health and grounding: your sense of being stable in Me, and not being buffeted about by every wind of affliction.

This sense of stability can only come from a place of rest.

This is what I am moving you towards, and I promise you that everything I do is toward the end of making you stable and grounded in every way. And yes, it will all be in Me, but you will feel it on the outside as well. This is not just a spiritual truth, but a practical one; and this practical truth, when lived and carried out, can change your life.

It is taking time to get there, I know; but I am really helping you. I need you to know that.

We are not walking together toward nothing, but rather toward a clearly defined end goal that I have in My sight at all times. And you can achieve it by resting in Me, and allowing Me to guide you; for the ease of this rest that I provide is part of your reward for coming to Me.

I am healing you from your busy schedule, and I am bringing you into the land of rest.

I am healing you from the stress and pressure that compelled you to depend too much on your works, and I am delivering you from the expectation that all those things are necessary. I can actually provide for you just as well if you do not try to do these things in the flesh, and so I will do in this season as you wait on Me and depend on Me.

Do not confuse these truths with laziness or lack of diligence. I am not healing you from hard work, but simply from depending on the flesh for your provision and inheritance. I want you to learn once again in this season that those who seek Me first will find Me, and that all the things you need will be added to you.

I am a God of abundance, beloved; and I will come to you and help you in your time of need.

Do not be afraid, but rather believe Me. Spend extra time soaking in My Word and hiding it in your heart. For I am with you to comfort you, and to introduce you to a different way of living: a rested way; a path of abiding in Me.

I love you, and I am doing all these things because of My great love for you. Do not be afraid, but rather believe–and you will receive!” says the Lord Jesus Christ to you today.
