Jesus Died For You

Jesus told a story in the Bible (Luke 15:8-10) about a woman who had 10 silver coins and lost one. She carefully lit a lamp, swept the entire house, and searched carefully until she found it. She did not want to lose even one of those coins. They were all precious to her.

If you do not know Jesus Christ personally, that story is about you.

It’s a picture of a Heavenly Father who has lots of children, but His heart still aches to hold you.

He keeps your picture on His refrigerator.

He’s jealous for you. He longs for you, and He refuses to be satisfied until He has you back.

No matter where you’ve been, you can still come back to the Father.

And coming back to the Father is easy.

A relationship with Father God is not something you have to earn. It’s not even possible for you to earn it. Neither you nor I could never be good enough for God, with even our best human attempts.

A relationship with the Father is a gift that He can give you because of what Jesus did. All you have to do is receive it.

If you will believe that Jesus came to earth for you and died for your sins, so that you could be forgiven and have eternal life, then God promises that He will forgive your sins and make you clean. He will give you a new life in Jesus, if you will only believe.
