Dear friend, are you struggling with unexplained anger? As in, sometimes you just wake up angry or go through your day angry, but you aren’t sure how or why?
If so, this may be a word that could help you figure out the root of the problem today. This is not an all-inclusive list about all the things that could possibly make you angry, but it is a word that the Lord put in my heart today. So, take it if it’s for you–and leave it if it’s not!
Specifically, I want to ask you today: does weakness make you angry?
And even more specifically, does feeling your own weakness make you angry?

Does it make you feel upset when you feel helpless?
If so, read this:
I am the weakest person I know. I came to terms with this a long time ago. Without God’s help, I can’t get out of bed in the morning. Without God’s help, I am sad and lonely and depressed and discouraged. This sinful world will do that to anybody.
But the key point I wrote above is “without God’s help.” And “WITHOUT GOD’S HELP” is a condition that we, as Christians, never have to experience.
Why? Because as the apostle Paul wrote by the breathing-out of the Holy Spirit:
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV).
So precisely because I am weak and I know it, God’s grace can flow through me.

Pray with power!
Do you yearn to move forward in power? If so, the prophetic words and sample prayers in ADVANCE! And Be Encouraged will build your faith, challenging you to believe God for MORE, for BIGGER, and for His right-now intervention on your behalf!
Because I am weak and I know it, I become totally dependent on God. I throw myself at His feet daily, confess my weakness, and beg Him to fill me with His grace and strength. And He answers: all my fleshly powers and abilities become the nothing that they already are anyway, and my weakness and helplessness are replaced with the sheer POWER of the Holy Spirit flowing through me.
And therefore God can use me more than I ever asked for or imagined–precisely because I am utterly weak and completely helpless.
Thus, because of the grace and strength of God in me, my utter weakness, helplessness, and total dependency on God actually is my greatest pathway to blessing, rather than being a liability to me.
The same is true for you.
Do you feel weak and helpless in the face of the circumstances you deal with from day to day? Does that weakness and helplessness make you feel angry?

If so, you’re looking at it wrong.
Commit your weakness to God and yield yourself to Him in a new way for His grace to flow through you, and for His strength to be made perfect in your weakness. Don’t fight against the weakness and helplessness anymore, but rather use it as a springboard–a launching pad–to draw closer to God, confessing your total dependency on Him, and inviting Him to make His grace manifest in your life, and to make His strength perfect in your weakness.
Yield your weakness and helplessness to Him and ask Him to sanctify it, making your own weakness HIS pipeline for His power to flow through your life.
This is the only way. And when you do this, you will begin to experience the power of God flowing through you in ways you never experienced before–and you will know that it is in HIM that you live and move and have your being, and that your weakness is only the gateway to His strength, power, and anointing.
Selah!

Thank you Jamie, yes I do feel weak at times I do get angry with myself at times, with past failures. But I tell myself let it go no point to linger in that state. Have a Blessed day.
