In this article, I am sharing five of the short prophetic words that the Lord gave me during the last couple of days for individual readers.

Specifically, I was asking the Lord to share His heart about the upcoming new Hebrew Year 5787. That Hebrew year begins at sunset on September 11, 2026. And, since the Lord always honors the calendar He invented, and since He works seasonally across the Body of Christ, it’s always encouraging to hear what He has in mind for any new season–and especially a new year on His calendar.

Finally, the words below are unisex. If a word refers specifically to “son” or “daughter” or anything like that, it’s because the Lord gave me the word originally specifically for a man or woman, respectively. But God is no respecter of persons; what He does for others, He will do for you too–if you have the faith to believe!

Without further ado, here is what the Lord said:

Word 1:

“I am slowing you down so that I can realign you. For this is the season of many pivots. You are so used to the trials that you are not accustomed to resting like I want you to, and I am helping you to rest so that I can pivot you carefully and calmly where I need to move you.

And in this season of 5787, you will find yourself cashing in on accounts that you have had with Me for a long time. For the seeds you have sown will reap a harvest, and all that you have done for My name will be rewarded and overloaded back to you in sheaves of joy,” says the Lord Jesus to you today.

Word 2:

“For I am God Who is coming and has come into your situation already, and I see all that you have done for Me—and I tell you that this is the year of you receiving double recompense for all you have been through with a good attitude.

For you have sown your suffering as a seed, and I have accepted it and deemed it worthy of storing in My heavenly courts. For I know what your suffering has cost you, and in 5787 I am bringing you resurrection. For resurrection is your portion as surely as My blood forgives your sins. The one thing cannot be separated from the other.

Study resurrection this year, and believe Me for it; for it will surely come!” says the Lord Jesus to you today.

Word 3:

“For I am making a way where there is no way visible, and I am opening up a path through the mighty waters. And you shall run and not be weary in this season.

For you have waited on Me a long time, and I am moving you out of the place of weariness of spirit and into a place where you will drink from the rivers of living water. And in 5787, I am moving you forward into a place where you will see the ladders of Heaven.

You will see My angels ministering to you and bringing you sustenance, even as you wait on Me now—feeling like you have nothing left. I am your Storehouse and your Provision. I am your Strength in time of need, and I am filling you with My power for all that you need to do—and rest for all that I would have you leave behind,” says the Lord Jesus to you today.

Word 4:

“I see how tired you are, and how fatigued in spirit. But I am lifting you up and pouring fresh oil into your heart and life.

I know how hard it has been this summer to even survive, let alone thrive! And yet you have done a champion job of it. I am so proud of you! And as we move into the year 5787, I want you to know that I am renewing your faith for the more, and for the greater, and for all that you have dreamed about previously, but have lost the hope and strength to believe for.

I am awakening you to dream again, and to receive My blessings of good things. And I am crowning the year with tender mercies, for My love for you is tender and protective—and it is going to be a good year,” says the Lord.

Word 5:

“I see how faithfully you have labored to serve Me, and how well. But I want you to know that I would love you just as much even if you had not worn yourself out on My behalf. For I am a God of rest, and I am ministering rest to you in this hour. And I am taking all that has hounded you and kept you from sleeping well over the years, and working it out for your good.

And I am giving you dreams in this new year of 5787 that you have not dreamed in quite some time—and some of them you have never dreamed. But I do not say only that I will give you the idea of a dream, but rather the fulfillment of it as well.

For this is a kairos moment, in which the vials of Heaven containing your prayers are being poured out on the scales of your life: for you have been weighed in the balances and have been found to be faithful and loyal, a friend to Me indeed, and both a doer and a hearer of My Word.

And I trust you with My secrets; so I am moving you forward into dreams fulfilled, one step at a time. Do not let your faith waver nor come to an end, but rather ask Me to fan the flame of your faith with My eternal and consuming fire; for I am your Father Who loves and protects you, and I am ministering to My beloved baby girl—that’s you!—in this season,” says the Lord.
