I recently did a virtual book signing, in which I “signed” over 170 resources with a personal prophetic word for each reader. I wanted to begin sharing some of those words that I felt would edify you, also.
But first, let me answer the big question:
Can a prophetic word that was given to someone else actually also be for you?
The answer, according to 2 Corinthians chapter 1, is YES.

Look at this Scripture:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NKJV, emphasis mine).
Second Corinthians 1:3-4, quoted above, tells us explicitly that any comfort we receive from God also applies to comfort other people who are in any trouble. So, if the Lord gives me a prophetic word personally about some trouble I’m going through, I should share it with you because it’s for you too.
Similarly, if the Lord gives Person 1 a prophetic word, that same prophetic word also applies to Person 2, Person 3, et cetera … to as many as will receive it, and to whomever Holy Spirit bears witness in their heart.

How do you know if Holy Spirit is bearing witness?
For that, let’s look at Luke 24:32, which tells part of the story of how Jesus appeared to two disciples on the Emmaus Road:
“And they said to one another, ‘Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?’” (Luke 24:32 NKJV).
While walking with those two disciples, Jesus “expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself” (see Luke 24:27b). And as He talked to them, His Holy Spirit bore witness in the disciples’ hearts. In other words, Holy Spirit witnessed to the two disciples about the veracity and application of Jesus’ words as He spoke.
That is how you can tell if a prophetic word is for you:
If it applies to you and Holy Spirit bears witness in your heart, or if it’s comforting, then the word is for you!

So here are 5 prophetic words for today from our recent “virtual book signing”:
And even if this word wasn’t originally issued to you, if it’s comforting to you or your heart burns within you, the word is for you too!
Word 1: “I have set you as a seal upon My arm. I have chosen you and have not cast you aside, and I am more proud of you than you could ever dream. Never think that you are not good enough for Me. You are who I made you to be, and you are progressively becoming more like Me every day. It is a journey; trust Me in the process!”
Word 2: “Sometimes you look down, but I want you to look up. You have great dignity in My sight, and even though the world has run over you sometimes, those things were not from Me. I have made you a queen unto Myself, and you are royalty in My eyes. I will contend with those who contend with you, and you will be My witness of My majesty at work on your behalf!”
Word 3: “I have seen your pain and have not forgotten your sorrows. The wounds you have incurred were not from Me, and I am healing them day by day. Don’t be afraid to step into a new season and new paths, for sometimes you have to forsake the old things completely even before you know essential details about where I am leading you.
Never fear; I will be as faithful to you as I was to Abraham and Moses and Joshua and the Israelites, bringing them out of the old thing and into the land I foretold to them. I am Jesus, and I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. Fear not!”
Word 4: “I am speaking revelation to you in your dreams that will shake you up and point you toward Me. Be not afraid to ask Me questions, for I am well able to help you understand My instructions for your life. I am ever mindful that you are but dust, but you are also My beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Word 5: “I am for you even when you do not think I am. I have not forgotten you and I have not left you behind. You have not missed out on the things you think you have missed out on. The enemy has lied to you, but I tell you the truth today: I am opening for you the windows of Heaven and pouring out such a blessing that My provision will overflow your need, in many ways. Look and believe!”
