Prophetic Word: New Wineskins In This Season

Have you been asking the Lord to breathe new life into you, and to unstop some things that have felt jammed up? If so, this word is for you.

I heard the Father say:

“I am giving you new wineskins, and new ways of doing things, in this new season.”

He went on to explain:

“In times past, you have been rushing pell-mell through life, and there have been times when you have not organized and planned–as well as other times in which you have. But in this season, I am showing you how to slow down; how to plan better; and how to implement new ideas that cause growth in key areas where you have been asking Me to bless you.

Man’s mind plans his way, but I am directing your path. I want you to use wisdom, but also don’t hesitate to slow down when I lead you to slow down, and to speed up when I lead you that way.

Wisdom does not preclude you from taking steps of faith; sometimes I do lead you into places you cannot understand. Nevertheless, just because something doesn’t make logical sense to you at all times does not mean that it was not from Me.

I am showing you how to leverage what you have for far greater results.

And in this season, you will see that I am truly the Source and the Fountain of wisdom, for you will see Me giving you clever ideas and witty inventions even about the smallest of things–and they will work; for I the Lord am with you lead you by the way you should go.

I am leading you in the paths of righteousness, and I am bringing breakthrough in some areas that have been stopped up for a long time.

By providing you with more wisdom than ever before, I am helping you remove some log-jams that have been in the river and flow of your answers to prayer. For you have prayed many times for various things, and I want you to keep on praying. (See Luke 18:1-8!) Do not stop praying!

But, the new strategies that I am giving you in this season will release some clear streams of My living water to flow again into your life, and you will see that those streams were stopped up for a reason and a purpose, for I have changed your angle of approach; and My new way will be better than the old way.

“I am God Who comforts you in your affliction, and Who leads you by the hand, to take you where you need to go.

I have not abandoned you nor forsaken you; I have simply allowed some things to slow down to give you margin and grace to speed some other things up. When there is a log-jam in a river, the water directly behind the log-jam slows down, but any water that escapes speeds up. That is what I have been doing in your life.

In this season, however, you will experience My speed and My timing. Look for Me to come suddenly into your situation, and expect to see movement in things where there was no movement before.

For I the Lord, Who ordain your times and seasons, have ordained that the old has past and the new has come. I am refilling you with the fresh oil and new wine that will refresh your spirit by My Holy Spirit, and I am giving you new wineskins–new methods of doing, of organizing, of communicating, and of being–to hold it all.
