10 Promises to Claim in 2026: January 9

Did you know that God is a rewarder? It’s true–and He wants to reward YOU today! However, you do have to know the conditions upon which His rewards depend. You also need to actively believe God for rewards. If you’re ready to strengthen your faith in this area, this list of 36 confessions of reward will help you do just that!
First, remember that God is a rewarder–and that believing in Him and His rewards is actually a requirement of seeking Him.
Hebrews 11:6 tells us this specifically:
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV).

So, if you are going to come to God and seek Him–whether you are seeking Him just to know Him more, or whether you need His help with something–you MUST believe:
- That He exists; and
- That He rewards every person, including yourself, who diligently seeks Him.
That goes against the religious mindset that many people have: a mindset that says that you ought not to expect anything from God. And while it’s true that He has already done so much for each of us that, even if He never did anything else, we would still owe Him our entire allegiance …
… it is also true that “never doing anything else” is not Who He is.
God IS a Rewarder, through and through. And He will never stop blessing you if you never stop believing that He exists, and that He rewards the people who diligently seek Him.
Beloved, God IS a Rewarder; it’s in His very nature.
“Rewarding” is not merely one of God’s “favorite activities”–like something He does sometimes when He’s in the mood. No; that’s not how it works at all. God is the same all the time; He never changes, and He is not fickle. Rewarding is not a function of His “mood,” and the Bible doesn’t tell us to believe “that God likes to reward people when He feels like it.”
No, beloved. This concept of God being our Rewarder goes much deeper than that, and it’s far more incredible than that. Rewarding is not merely something He does; it’s Who He is. And He cannot take His nature of being our Rewarder off, and put it back on, like a favorite coat.
“Rewarder” is genuinely Who God is, through and through. It’s His very nature, and He can never be anything else.
Hallelujah!
But, beloved, you have to meet the conditions for His rewards if you want to get rewarded.

Nearly every one of God’s promises carries conditions. God gives us a promise, and He tells us, “I’ll do this if you’ll do that.” This applies even to His promises about rewards. In the Bible, when He promises a specific reward, He gives us a specific activity to do that earns that reward.
For example, look at what Jesus said about prayer and the reward that comes with it:
“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly” (Matthew 6:5-6 NKJV).
In the passage above from Matthew 6, Jesus said this:
- IF you will pray,
- AND go into your room,
- AND shut the door,
- AND pray to your Father Who sees in secret;
- THEN God (Who sees everything that happens behind closed doors) will reward you in the open.
There’s always an IF => THEN causality. The doing of the “if,” on our parts, produces the completion of the “then” on His part. And it works the same way for all of His promises.
In other words: if we meet God’s conditions that He gives with any promise–including the conditions that accompany His promises for reward–THEN He will give us the blessing, or reward, that He gave His word to perform.
Hallelujah, again! He is a faithful God!
But, we have to not only meet His conditions, but also believe that He exists, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

And in the Bible, when you look up the original meaning of New Testament faith from the Greek, you learn that Biblical faith requires two things:
- The deep, gut-level belief in and conviction of a thing; and
- The simultaneous verbal confession of the same thing.
There is no such thing as Biblical faith without coinciding verbal confession of the thing. If you really believe it, you must be speaking it.
(That’s why we have three entire volumes of books about how to SPEAK God’s Word over your situation! You can find my books Speak Life Volume 1 ebook or paperback, Speak Life Volume 2 ebook or paperback, and Speak Life Volume 3 ebook or paperback over here in our Gumroad store!)
And since we are a Jesus-loving community which definitely believes that God exists, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, I thought I’d make a list of Bible-based confessions for you, so you can speak God’s Word out of your mouth on the topic of reward.
Therefore, you will find below a list of 36 confessions of faith for REWARD.
Every confession for reward is based on Scripture, and I have cited the chapter and verse for each one that contains the principle or promise behind the thing. These confessions are not direct quotes unless marked, but they ARE all Biblical confessions based directly in each cited verse, built using the first-person “I” pronoun so they’ll be easy for you to speak out.
(Direct quotes of phrases are indicated by the use of quotation marks and the designation NKJV.)

Here are the 36 confessions of reward for you to speak out loud over yourself and your life:
- I am not afraid, for God is my Shield and my exceedingly great reward. (See Genesis 15:1.)
- I serve the Lord, His house, and His Kingdom faithfully every day, and the Lord rewards me for my work. (See Numbers 18:31.)
- The Lord repays me for all my work, and I receive a full reward this day from the Lord God of Israel, under Whose wings I hide for refuge. (See Ruth 2:12.)
- The Lord rewards me with good for all I have done to serve others. (See 1 Samuel 24:19.)
- The Lord rewards me this day according to the righteousness that I am in Christ, and He pays me back according to the cleanness of my hands. (See 2 Samuel 22:21; Psalm 18:20.)
- I am strong, and I do not let my hands be weak; for the Lord Himself shall reward my work! (See 2 Chronicles 15:7.)
- I keep the Word of God in my heart, and I obey His commandments—and I receive great reward for doing so. (See Psalm 19:11.)
- I receive reward from God for living righteously this day, for God sees how I love and serve Him; He is God Who sees and decides all. (See Psalm 58:11.)
- My children are my heritage and reward from the Lord. (See Psalm 127:3.)
- I only sow righteousness, so I have a sure, certain, guaranteed reward. (See Proverbs 11:18.)
- I fear the commandments of the Lord, so I will be rewarded. (See Proverbs 13:13.)
- I am kind, loving, and gracious to those who are unkind to me, and the Lord rewards me for this. (See Proverbs 25:22.)
- My heart rejoices in all my labor, and this is part of my reward from the Lord. (See Ecclesiastes 2:10.)
- Jesus Christ Himself is my Reward, and He comes to help me and also gives me other rewards. (See Isaiah 40:10.)
- God rewards me even when no one else sees or appreciates what I do. (See Isaiah 49:4.)
- God gives me great rewards in Heaven when people persecute me and say all kinds of evil things against me falsely. That’s why I’m happy when people talk badly about me, for I look forward to the rewards God is laying up for me! (See Matthew 5:12.)
- When I help the poor, I keep it to myself and keep it secret (unless it was a corporate act of kindness). I don’t brag or try to make myself look bigger because the Lord made a way for me to help those in need. And the Lord rewards me openly for helping those who have needs. (See Matthew 6:1-4.)
- When I pray, I don’t make a public spectacle of myself or my prayers. Instead, I go into my room, shut my door, and pray to my Father Who sees all things that happen in secret. And my Father, Who sees my prayers in secret, will reward me in the open. (See Matthew 6:5-6.)
- When I fast, I keep it as much of a secret as possible. I don’t flaunt my fast or act like a martyr because of my fast. Instead, I fast between me and God only, and my Father Who sees all things that are done in secret rewards me in the open. (See Matthew 6:16-18.)
- I receive legitimate prophets in the name of a prophet, and so I receive a prophet’s reward. I also receive righteous people in the name of a righteous person, and therefore I receive the reward that comes to a righteous person. (See Matthew 10:41.)
- I bless all those around me and try to take care of those who have needs because I am a disciple of Christ, and God Himself rewards me for it. (See Matthew 10:42.)
- I labor for the Kingdom as faithfully as I can, for Jesus will reward me for my works when He comes back to take us home to Heaven. (See Matthew 16:27.)
- God rewards me for even doing small things for others, like giving someone a drink of water in Jesus’ name. (See Mark 9:41.)
- I rejoice and leap for joy when people persecute me, for I have a great reward in Heaven because of it. (See Luke 6:23.)
- I love my enemies, do good to everyone, and even lend things to other people, and I don’t need anything in return for these actions—but God rewards me personally for these things, for He has made me a child of the Most High, and the Kingdom has its own reward system! (See Luke 6:35.)
- Even when I work with others as part of a team, God still rewards me individually for the labor that I completed personally. (See 1 Corinthians 3:8.)
- My work is of high quality and has enduring, eternal value, so the Lord rewards me personally. (See 1 Corinthians 3:14.)
- I preach the Gospel willingly, and I have a great reward for being faithful to my call. (See 1 Corinthians 9:16-17.)
- I stay true to God’s Word and to my faith in the only real Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I do not let anyone lead me astray or cheat me of my reward. (See Colossians 2:18.)
- Whatever I do, I do it with all my heart, giving it my very best effort. I work and serve and do all things as to the Lord, not as serving men; for it is from the Lord that I “will receive the reward of the inheritance,” for I serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (See Colossians 3:23-25 NKJV).
- I do not cast away my confidence, but rather I endure; for my confidence in Christ brings me great reward. For after I have done all that is God’s will, I will receive all that He has promised me. (See Hebrews 10:34-36.)
- I believe that God exists, “and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” I have big faith in Him at all times, and I receive all His rewards! (See Hebrews 11:6 NKJV.)
- God is worth serving, no matter what. I keep my eyes on Him and look to the reward of Jesus Christ Himself, of Heaven, of righteousness, and of all that He has promised me. (See Hebrews 11:25-26.)
- I look to myself and am careful not to lose ground in the faith. I do not give any heed to false doctrine; I only listen to the truth of Jesus Christ, as established in God’s written Word. I do not lose the things I have worked for, and I receive a full reward from my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, from my Father in Heaven, and from His Holy Spirit. (See 2 John 1:7-9.)
- The Lord rewards me for being His child and servant, and for fearing His name. (See Revelation 11:18 NKJV).
- I always stay aware of the fact that Jesus is coming quickly, and that His reward is with Him. He will give to me according to my work, so I labor diligently and faithfully to do and to finish all that He has given me to do. (See Revelation 22:12; John 4:34; Luke 17:10.)
