18 Prophetic Words of Major Hope and Joy

Do you feel like you have been through the wringer? Do you need to hear and know that God is not ignoring you, and that He is helping you? If so, these prophetic words of hope, power, joy, and comfort are for you!

In this article, I am sharing eighteen of the short prophetic words that the Lord spoke to me over the last few days for individual readers.

If you’re curious about whether or not these prophetic words apply to you, click here to read more about how and why any prophetic word is for you if it comforts you (according to 2 Corinthians chapter 1). Also, if you’re not sure what to do with a prophetic word, read here.

Finally, the words below are unisex. If a word refers specifically to “son” or “daughter” or anything like that, it’s because the Lord gave me the word originally specifically for a man or woman, respectively. But God is no respecter of persons; what He does for others, He will do for you too–if you have the faith to believe!

Here is what the Lord said:

Word 1:

“I am with you to comfort you, for I know that the cares of the world are too much for you—and I know how tender your heart is.

I see the pain of your heart, and I see how you are standing up for justice and righteousness. And I know that you have seen much pain in this world, but I am making it all up to you.

For this is the season of payback; a season of righteousness and peace to you, and a season in which I am making all things new,” says the Lord.

Word 2:

“For I have seen how faithful you have been, and I am going before you to make a way where there is no way. And all that you have on your plate and in your schedule is under My anointing, and you do not need to worry about Me abandoning you in any of it.

For you are My witness of how faithful I am, and I assure you that I have not for one minute forgotten you. I will never forget you nor ignore anything you need, so rest in Me and be encouraged!” says the Lord.

Word 3:

“For I am God all by Myself, and I am your Bridge over troubled waters. I am taking you into territory you have not seen before, and all that you need to do I have done ahead of you. I have prepared these things for you to walk in, and I have dreamed the dreams you are dreaming now—but I have dreamed them from eternity past.

And so you do not have to be afraid; for I the Lord am strengthening you and helping you stand firm in the fight. I am protecting you and defending you, so do not hesitate to believe in Me,” says the Lord.

Word 4:

“I have given you an anointing to see what is not possible from an earthly perspective, but to make it possible from a heavenly perspective. For nothing is impossible with Me, and I am showing you the road to all things you desire to do.

And you do not have to worry or be afraid, for I know you are looking at big things—but I am bigger than these big things. And My provision is for you; My heart is for you; you have My heart in all things!

And I am with you, to comfort you and to bring you peace and shalom. Do not be afraid, but rather believe; for I the Lord am with you,” says the Father of lights, in Whom there is no shadow of turning!

Word 5:

“I know things are difficult, but I am so much stronger than even the most difficult thing. And you do not have to be afraid or discouraged, for I can come through for you in a moment—and I will!

For I am repaying you for all you have suffered, and I am personally making your dreams come true. I care about you! I am with you! And you do not have to think that you have to conjure up solutions in the flesh, for I am giving you grace, grace, and more grace—and My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in your weakness.

All that you have and desire is Mine to complete, and I will do it through you and for you, if you will only believe and rest in Me,” says the Lord!

Word 6:

“I am with you to thrill you with My power, for you are not alone—and, indeed, you are in a period of grace and power that you have never seen before. For I am with you, to move miraculously on your behalf.

All you have to do is ask, and you will see Me move. But do not try to work things up in the flesh; wait on Me and look to Me, and I will show you very clearly what to do and when to do it.

You are not alone or forgotten; you are right at the center of My eye, and all that I am doing for you is to your benefit and My glory. And I love you so much; do not forget that!” says the Lord Jesus to you today.

Word 7:

“For I am moving you from strength to strength, and increasing you in glorious power. For all that you have is Mine, and all that you are doing is Mine to provide for. And so I am providing gloriously; do not be discouraged, but wait on Me!

And I will see you through, for I am not a man, that I should lie. I am your Refuge and Help, a very present help in trouble. And you are My greatly beloved one, in whom is all My delight. And it is My delight and joy to prosper you, and so I am.

Be encouraged, for great things are coming to you, and are happening now!” says the Lord.

Word 8:

“For you are My beloved one, and I am with you to move you into a season of power that will cast down enemy armies and will elevate you in your authority. For you have authority in My name, and I am commissioning you into it—and into even greater levels of boldness in carrying it out.

For I have given you the keys to miracles, and I am teaching you how to wield the keys. And you do not have to be afraid that things will not work out, for I am your supernatural help in time of trouble, and nothing is too difficult for Me!” says the Lord Jesus Christ to you today.

Word 9:

“For all that you have belongs to Me, and all your dreams belong to Me too. And this means that, because you are Mine, I take a personal interest in all that pertains to you. So you do not need to be afraid that I will not help you or comfort you, for you are My beloved daughter, in whom is all My delight.

And I see the pain of your heart, as well as all that you do for My name, and unto My glory. And I assure you that I will reward you for all of it, and that your rewards are in process now.

Even today, ask Me for reward; for I am not holding back on you, but am rather eager to pour out all My blessings upon you as I move you forward in grace!” says the Lord Jesus Christ to you today.

Word 10:

“For you are My beloved witness of how good I am, and of how much I love you and others. And I assure you that My goodness is for you, and that I will not leave you high and dry paying the price alone for what you have done for My name. Ask Me to pay it, for I already have; I paid the price on the cross with My blood.

And so victory is yours, because it was Mine first. And so I have made you a victor, and more than a conqueror; and all that you desire to do you can accomplish, for I am casting down every obstacle for you, and I am raising up My angel armies to fight on your behalf as well,” says the Lord Jesus to you today!

Word 11:

“I am giving you peace and quiet and a sense of calm, together with real calm that touches your soul and gives you rest. I am removing the stressors of this world from you; taking away the things that have hounded you; and I am moving you forward into great satisfaction.

For I am restoring to you the years the locusts have eaten, and I am giving you back your enjoyment of life. For all that you have done for My name has been of great value to Me, but this is a season of your rest—when My grace does the work,” says the Lord.

Word 12:

“For I am with you always, and I am moving you forward into things that eye has not seen, nor ear heard. For you do not have to be afraid that I will not come to you and help you; I am manifesting Myself to you even now, and I am moving you forward into a season of great grace and peace.

And you will find in this season that you are coming alive again; you are not alone, and you are not left to peter out and die, whether internally or externally. You are not finished or washed up; you are washed in the blood of My Son Jesus, and I am renewing you and taking you from glory to glory, grace to grace, and faith to faith.

You are My precious one, in whom is all My delight. And I delight in your prosperity: and that includes prosperity of soul, prosperity of pocketbook, and prosperity in every way,” says the Father of lights, in Whom is no shadow of turning.

Word 13:

“For I am not shocked at the need which has come upon you; I anticipated it, and I have already provided for it. For you do not yet know how much I love you, and how very much My hand is for you, to move on your behalf. But I assure you that I will not let you fail nor be discouraged, and that all that you need I will provide.

Have I ever been late? I tell you, I have not! And even though life sometimes doesn’t look like you thought it would, still I am embracing you and holding you up.

I am working all things for your good! And in this season, you can know and rest in the fact that I will provide for you joyfully. You are not a burden to Me; you are a great delight, and I am answering every request you have made even now!” says the Lord Jesus to you today!

Word 14:

“You are not lost or without resource, but you are right in that I have been working a trust in you that you did not have before. I am bringing you peace even in the hardest storms! And so you had to go through some things, but I am helping you and giving you grace.

And in this season, you will find the storms falling away; for you have passed the test; and I say to you, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant!’” says the Lord Jesus to you today.

Word 15:

“I know things are chaotic right now, but I have been working a perseverance in you that you have not seen before. This level of perseverance is the kind which will see you through all the rest of your life with complete stability, come what may.

And I know these lessons have been hard, but I am indeed moving in power on your behalf. And you will not have missed anything for having been in this test; indeed, you will come out better than you have ever been before,” says the Lord.

Word 16:

“You do not need to be afraid that I have forsaken you, for all things are working for your good. I am with you even now, and I am moving in power!

I am releasing the resources from Heaven, and the bread of Heaven, for you to eat every day! And I am providing for you out of nothing; for you are fully Mine, and so all that you have, and all that you are doing, I will take care of.

Your task was Mine first, and I have not relinquished it, even though I am sharing these things with you. So take heart and be encouraged, for all that you are doing I will complete,” says the Lord.

Word 17:

“I am moving you forward into a season of great peace, in which you will see that I have been growing you all along—and that your progress has never stopped.

For even though you felt like you were losing ground, in reality you have been making progress all along. But it was a hidden progress, the kind that is centered in the heart; and, as I have cleansed your heart, I will now catapult you forward more than you could ever dream,” says the Lord.

Word 18:

“I am with you in all things, and I am moving you forward even when you feel like you are sliding back. For you do not have to be afraid that I have forgotten you, or that I am ignoring your petitions.

For I have heard everything, and I am talking about you in Heaven! I am having a conversation with My Father about you right now, and we are talking about how very proud of you we are. And I want you to know that happy surprises are coming to you.

You do not have to be afraid or discouraged; look up! For your redemption draws near, and your redemption will indeed be better than you ever dreamed it could be,” says the Lord!
