4 Prophetic Words About Asking and Receiving

In this season of Emmanuel–God’s greatest gift to men–we tend to have giving and receiving on our minds a lot. Well, this morning the Lord has been speaking to me for His people about how He wants us to ask, ask, and ask–and about how He is eager to pour out His many gifts upon you right now!

Remember this passage as you read these short prophetic words:

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV).

Beloved, we can never ask God for too much.

We can never have too much faith or believe too much that God is too good. God LOVES you, and He wants us to ask. He said so specifically in John 16:23-24:

“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:23-24 NKJV).

So, beloved, don’t hold back! Ask in faith; ask, believing that God is good; and ASK, believing that His promises are true–and that He will give you anything you ask in His name! As He promised again in John 14:14:

“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it” (John 14:14 NKJV).

Today is a day of FAITH, my friend!

With no further ado, here are four prophetic words to encourage you today:

Word 1:

“I am giving you all that you need and desire. It just takes time. But time is your friend, not your enemy. The longer I ‘cook’ something, the better it is. And I have not forgotten about even one thing you have asked Me for. Indeed, I even notice the things you love—and I love to bless you with things you admire, just to see you smile.

I love giving you joy, and you can ask Me for anything at any time. I want you to ask, that your joy may be full! For in this season you will find more answered prayers than ever before, for you have more faith than ever before,” says the Lord your God to you today.

Word 2:

“For I the Lord am giving you comfort from the time of storm. I am the peace that you need, and I am manifesting My peace in all that concerns you. For surely I have revealed all things to you that you desire; I have revealed them to you by My Spirit. And will I not do for you that which I have revealed to you?

I will never show you a thing only to disappoint you. Indeed, I the Lord am with you wherever you go—and I am making your dreams manifest, for I have called you by your name, and I love to bring you joy because you are My inheritance,” says the Lord!

Word 3:

“Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full, My beloved one! Ask Me for all that you will, whenever you will; and you will see Me moving My angels and My hand on your behalf!

For I am God of More Than Enough, and I have moved you through a great wilderness and am bringing you out the other side. And in this season you shall have plenty; you will be overflowing with milk and honey; for I the Lord have ordained that you should have houses you did not fill, vineyards you did not plant, and cities you did not build,” says the Lord God of hosts to you today!

Word 4:

“I see all that you need, want, and desire, and I assure you that it is all important to Me! I want to adorn you as My precious child, for you are a jewel to Me—My precious beloved one, and I want to give you the finest of the fine.

Nothing is too good for you! Nothing is too big that I will not do it for you! Ask, and you will receive! My hand is open to you, and I am the Source and Provider of all things. And in this season, the more you ask, the more you will receive.

For I am God Who registers your prayers in Heaven, and I am truly taking everything you ask Me for and recording it in My book, to be answered in due course,” says the Lord.
