5 Prophetic Words for Today

I wanted to share these 5 short words of encouragement that the Lord spoke to me yesterday for individual readers (as part of a virtual book signing event). These words spoke to my heart tremendously, and I believe they will encourage you too.

I pray these words will speak to your heart and lift you up today. Note: If a word says “daughter” or “son,” that’s because it was originally written for a woman or man, respectively. But, in Christ, there is neither male nor female. We are all one. So, even if you’re the opposite gender from what is mentioned in a word, the word is still for you.

Word 1:

“I see you stick your neck out in faith, extending your hands to the hurting and helpless. And I tell you today that I am rewarding your faith, for you must have total confidence in Me that I will see you through as you help others.

The time is coming when you will have fruit abounding in your hands. I will pile so much fruit upon you that your hands will not be able to hold it all. It may not look like you expect, but I hear the sound of the abundance of rain! My anointing is in you and My Spirit is both in you and on you; continue forward in faith, and you shall reap a harvest!” says the Lord God Almighty.

Word 2:

“Oh, how you are persevering in faith! I am so proud of you! I see all that is against you; indeed I tell you, I see it! I love you so much, and I am so delighted in you for the way you are pressing into Me despite the obstacles that crowd your vision!

I see that it is so hard to keep your eyes on Me when the storms all around you are roaring so loudly, but help is on the way. My help has already been sent; I dispatched it to you the moment you began praying, and soon it will break through.

Lift up your eyes, for the chariots of Israel and the horsemen thereof are encamped around you. I have charged them to remain and defend you, for I am greater in you than all of those who are in the world. Be not dismayed; your strength is sure, for I am showing Myself to be your Defender and your Rear Guard!” says the Lord Jesus, the Captain of the heavenly hosts.

Word 3:

“I see the enemies that encamp around you, but what you have not seen until now is the fact that My chariots and horsemen around you far outnumber the enemy. The enemy cannot get any inroads at all, for My fire is burning brightly all around you.

The sounds of your praises and thanksgivings resound in My ears, and you are bringing so much glory to Me on every side. I am proud of the way you love people. I delight in your heart, for you are pure before Me. You may not be perfect, but you are well on your way due to the way you genuinely love even your enemies. You are a good and faithful daughter, and I am glad I adopted you into the family and made you My Own; for you are a great treasure, surpassing every manmade treasure the world has to offer.

Nothing eclipses you in My eyes; you are front and center of My mind at all times. Rest in Me, for I’ve got you covered!” says the Lord God Almighty. 

Word 4:

“I am encamped all around you, above you, beneath you, and on all sides of you. I go before you to prepare the way for My majesty to shine through you. You are bringing Me much glory, and I have chosen you for new and greater things than have ever been done for My name before.

You are My cherished vessel, and I honor you for the way you have been willing to listen to Me when I share unusual ideas with you. Take time to steward them well, for they are pathways to the next level of blessing in your life. I know it is difficult to do it all at once, but don’t worry about doing everything at one time. Just hear My direction for each day, and I will see you through,” says the Lord Jesus. 

Word 5:

“I have seen your cries and travail, and how people you trusted turned out not to be trustworthy. I know the pain of betrayal, and I know it has hurt you that the one with whom you shared your bread has lifted up their heel against you. But I tell you this day that I am making all things new.

I will not bring toxic people back into your life, but I am bringing you into a new environment where you will be honored and cherished, the way I cherish you. Your gifts are finally shining front and center, for you have persevered and have built godly character that can support the manifestation of My glory on you. Well done, good and faithful servant; I am coming to you, and surely I shall not tarry!” says the Lord Jesus.
