Morning and Night: 21 Days of Praying for Your Ministry | by Jamie Rohrbaugh | FromHisPresence.com

Welcome to Day 6 of Morning and Night: 21 Days of Praying for Your Ministry! Today, in the morning, we are praying for FAVOR from the Lord. And in the evening, we are praying for international influence for Christ.

Beloved, God desires to use YOU to reach the nations for Him.

Remember the Great Commission? In Matthew 28, Jesus said this:

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen” (Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV).

And beloved, when God calls us to do a thing, He equips you for it. He makes provision for it, even when that provision seems slow. He gives you power to perform His command as well …

… and that means that He WILL help you to reach the NATIONS for Christ. He will also give you favor, so that people will listen to you when you talk–and this will help you reach even MORE people for Christ. 🙂

To build your faith for how the Lord is ready, willing, and eager to give you favor everywhere you go, read these Bible promises:

Esther 2:15-18: “Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king’s eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her.

So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

Then the king made a great feast, the Feast of Esther, for all his officials and servants; and he proclaimed a holiday in the provinces and gave gifts according to the generosity of a king” (Esther 2:15-18 NKJV).

Psalm 5:12: “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12 NKJV).

Psalm 90:13-17: “Return, O Lord! How long? And have compassion on Your servants. Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days!

Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, the years in which we have seen evil. Let Your work appear to Your servants, and Your glory to their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands” (Psalm 90:13-17 NKJV).

Psalm 84:11: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11 NKJV).

Psalm 27:6: “And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord” (Psalm 27:6 NKJV).

Psalm 91:14-16: “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation” (Psalm 91:14-16 NKJV).

Psalm 23:5-6: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” (Psalm 23:5-6 NKJV).

Then, pray through the following prayer points:

    • Begin by thanking and praising the Lord for His goodness, kindness, and mercy toward you.
    • Thank Him for making you His royal child, and for anointing you and making you a king and a priest unto Him.
    • Tell the Lord that you stand before Him requiring nothing, truly, except Him. Let Him know that He is all you need, and that He is the Source of even the things necessary for life. There is no life without Him!
    • Ask the Lord to bless you today, for you are the righteousness of God in Christ.
    • Confess to Him that you are totally dependent on Him for blessing, and for everything required for life itself.
    • Ask Him to surround you with favor as with a shield.
    • Pray that He would have compassion and mercy on you today, and that He would demonstrate His compassion and mercy to you in tangible ways.
    • Pray that He would satisfy you with His mercy, and would bring you to rejoicing and gladness all your days!
    • Ask the Lord to restore to you the years the locusts have eaten. Ask Him to make you glad in proportion to all the days and years of hardship you have been through.
    • Ask the Lord to let you see all His work on your behalf right now, and to bring to visible manifestation all the promises that He has promised you in His Word.
    • Ask Him to let His glory rest upon you. Pray that you would be a carrier of His visible glory in ever-increasing ways.
    • Ask the Lord to let His beauty also be upon you, and upon your ministry.
    • Pray that the Lord would establish the work of your hands for you, and for your ministry.
    • Pray that the Lord God would be a sun and shield to you, and to your ministry–today and every day.
    • Ask Him to help you to always walk uprightly, so that you meet His conditions for blessing.
    • Ask the Lord to shower you with good gifts and rewards today.
    • Pray that now the Lord would elevate you above your enemies! Thank Him and give Him praise in advance for doing so.
    • Point out to the Lord that you have set your love upon Him. Therefore, ask Him to deliver you, in accordance with Psalm 91:14. Ask the Lord to set you on high because you do know His name and love Him.
    • Ask Him to prepare a table of blessing for you, and for your ministry–even in the presence of your enemies. Thank Him for your enemies, and ask Him to work all those issues and relationships out for your good!
    • Ask the Lord to anoint your head with His oil (His fresh anointing of power through of His Spirit) even this day.
    • Thank the Lord for His kindness, goodness, graciousness, and mercy toward you.
    • Thank the Lord for the fact that you will be dwell in His house forever, for He has saved you and redeemed you with His blood.

In the evening, read these Scriptures about how the Lord will give you influence–even international influence–for Christ:

Psalm 2:8: “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession” (Psalm 2:8 NKJV).

Isaiah 55:5: “‘Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you shall run to you, because of the Lord your God, and the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified you’” (Isaiah 55:5 NKJV).

Malachi 3:8-12: “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” says the Lord of hosts; “and all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says the Lord of hosts” (Malachi 3:8-12 NKJV, emphasis mine).

Acts 2:42-47: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possession and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people.

And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:42-47 NKJV).

Acts 5:12-16: “And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.

And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed” (Acts 5:12-16 NKJV).

    Healing from Father Wounds

If any male authority figure has hurt you, that father wound can scar your life and keep you from drawing near to Father God. But, Jesus wants to heal you from all of that today. In Healing from Father Wounds: An Orphan No More, Jamie teaches you how to receive your healing and the Father’s blessing from the Lord.

    And then pray as follows:

    • Ask the Lord to give you the nations, to disciple them and win them for Him.
    • Pray that the Lord would use YOU to bring Jesus the reward of His suffering in all the nations!
    • Pray that He would grant you international influence for Him, and that you would always steward that influence for His glory.
    • Ask the Lord to help you to call a nation you do not know, and pray that nations who do not know you would run to you because of His name, for He has glorified you.
    • If you’re a tither, point out to the Lord that you DO tithe. Therefore, His promise that “all nations will call you blessed” is for you. Ask Him to give you influence over ALL nations for His sake because of the fact that you are a tither.
    • Pray that the Lord would help you to continue steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship; in the breaking of bread; and in prayer.
    • Pray that every soul who sees you or your ministry would fear the Lord.
    • Ask the Lord to do many signs and wonders through you, just as He did through the apostles of old.
    • Ask the Lord to help you administer your ministry and influence for His glory, caring for the poor and remaining faithful to dwell in unity and community with the brethren in Christ.
    • Ask the Lord to give you favor with all people and all nations. Pray that you would always walk in integrity, and that all the people would esteem you highly for Christ’s sake.
    • Ask the Lord to use you and your influence daily to win souls for Him.
    • Pray that the Lord would use you to heal all the sick and deliver (through the name of Jesus) all those who are tormented by unclean spirits, so that they would be healed, whole, delivered, and converted to Christ.

Beloved, the Lord wants to bless you and your ministry.

The blessing of the Lord belongs to you, today and every day, if you will but ask Him for it and meet His conditions for His promises. Therefore, I encourage you to contend earnestly with the Lord in prayer right now. Remember Hebrews 4:16:

“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV).

Do you want your ministry to be blessed?

And, do you want to be blessed yourself? If so, be faithful to pray. And He who began a good work in you will also be faithful to keep that good work going, all the way until its finishing point. He is the Author and the Finisher of your faith, and He will use you powerfully on the earth for His glory if you will but ask Him to do so!

    3. Jean Potgieter says:

I know that I am to preach the Gospel to the nations and I asked the Lord for one specific place to start. The Langkloof in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. I asked the Lord for the salvation of all my family members and that He will restore us to the people He meant us to be, so that we can do the things He planned for us to do and have the things He has set aside for us to have. That my family and I, individually and as a team, a unit, together will all the other people that the Lord will put in our path, will be Soulwinners for Jesus, fishers of men, going out into the world to make disciples to put at Jesus’ feet as His inheritance. Please pray in agreement with me that the Lord will answer this prayer and that my son Schalk will also preach as I believe the Lord for my dream and that Schalk will soon have a family of his own – a beautiful wife, children and successful ministry. Glory to God in the heavenlies. Hallelujah. So be it in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
