Prophetic Word: Expect the Double-Step of God

Beloved, are you stepping out on faith? If so, the Lord wants me to warn you today: Be prepared for the double-step!
Here’s the word of the Lord that I received this afternoon:
Some of you–you’ll know who you are–are stepping out in faith right now. You are either stepping out to grow yourself, OR you’re stepping out to help someone else grow. Either way, you’re doing it for the Kingdom.
But the Lord wants you to know that, as you step out in faith, He is going to use this opportunity to grow you and stretch you farther than you would have stretched on your own. As you step out in faith, He is actually going to pull your foot farther out than you had planned to place it.
This is the double-step of God.
The Lord is going to give you opportunity to double-step into greater faith and greater works. He is with you as you take your first step, but you should expect as you step that there will be a little nudge:
- A little nudge to do a little more for God;
- A little nudge to be a little more generous than you had intended to be;
- A little nudge to push yourself farther than you intended to go.
That little nudge is the nudge of God.
The Lord is a gentle “Nudge-er” who does not force you. He will not force you to step with Him. But He WILL give you the opportunity you have been looking for …
… except that He will disguise that opportunity as an opportunity to serve.
Just be aware: He must increase. His government must increase. And the Father desires to use you as His Kingdom vessel. He desires to use you–and this opportunity that stretches you–to build and enhance His Kingdom on the earth.
If you obey the nudge, it will be uncomfortable.
However, if you decide to obey anyway, you will feel excitement fill your bones. You will soon feel yourself flying with the Spirit of God. You will feel yourself inch even closer to breakthrough, for you walk on miracle territory when you double-step onto the ledge of faith.
Many of you felt this nudge just this afternoon. It came at an unexpected time, but you already accepted it.
Others of you will feel it shortly. When it comes, just be aware that the Lord is with you. In fact, He calls you His “favored one,” for it is only those who are strong in Him that He offers this double-step to. Until you are strong enough to handle it, He stretches you ONE step at a time. The very fact that He is offering you a DOUBLE-step means that He is offering you ACCELERATION–and that He believes you are fit to handle it.
The Lord is saying to you today: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
I hear Him also saying now: “You’ve come so far with Me; don’t hold back now. Continue your example; continue your faith-walk; continue to press aggressively toward Me. You have already entered into the joy of your Lord; seek to obey Me more, and you will find that I am right where I have always been–inside you, beside you, and surrounding you.”
Expect the double-step of God. Allow Him to stretch you faster.
If you do, you will not be disappointed with the results.

Yes, Jamie. I believe this word is for me. I am studying marketing and the challenges are coming thick and fast. Some fairly serious problem has arisen in every member of the family, tempting me to fear I made a mistake in trying to take my work to another level. But the learning and the joy tell me I am on the right track — the superhighway you mentioned a couple of days ago. God bless you for your faithfulness!

I am in agreement with this word, Jamie. I experienced a moment like this, just this afternoon which was so uncomfortable and I wanted to quit – but I felt God put on my heart to press through in obedience. And I thank God I did, especially after reading the word He put on your heart! I have also been praying for, and decreeing His acceleration in various areas of my life – so I will ensure I’m sensitive to moments like this. Thank you, Jamie!!!

I believe this is a word for me too. God has asked me to pray for healing with an unbeliever friend who is suffering from a skin rash disease. I have had a desire to step out and pray for healing with people and to see the healing. When i have prayed for healing with someone before, nothing has changed on the surface. I know its not about me and that God is the one who gives the healing power. I just want to see it happen for people and get disheartened when it doesnt happen, then and there, that i stop or hesitate now, which i dont want to.
The more I read Jamie the more my ABBA Father seems closer todays reading was right as I am having to step out not by my choice, but due to circumstances of my own doing painful but I loved your word today! I am ready and willing g need some big prayers!
This is a strong confirmation because so many times there are opportunities to serve and this time it’s exactly going to be as you described. I haven’t taken faith steps in the last couple of years and this is the chance so I pray I will be obedient and trustworthy for this opportunity to bloom a better version out of me and get set and stable with keeping the focus on God steady and consistent this time. This is an on time. I was nudge by God today to be a little more generous with my time with those some family members. At the same time I was approached with some disappointing news regarding my son. My faith is really being tested in this area with my son and with getting businesses off the ground as well. So thank you for this God given word.

Thanks Jammie Yes its the word of God, i heard very clearly i was visiting a small church in our neighbourhood slum dwellings in Kisumu, kenya and after some praise session i heard the Lord say” buy a plot and build a church for this church”.
As shocking as it was, it was very clear,ive believed God for your teachings and by faith have been ordained,commissioned and given mantle to be a Kingdom investor.I trusted God for 100 fold harvest of my salary be coming millions in June 2019.
In July i was led to seek funding for agricultural grant to bless widows in ancestral home and at my local church.I believe God has favoured me and grant will come in early august.
But after yesterday ,it was around 2.00pm,i realized God is too serious, on friday i covenanted with God to lead me to e-commerce platform for wealth transfer to be a seed harvest and answer to Isaiah 60:11, iam trusting God to lead me this week.
I became my own prophet and prophecied this week to be a week of defining moment in my life in view of all these revelations,for with men these things are not possible but with God, all things are possible!

Hi Jamie. I believe this word is for me. Last Friday I was led to sow a seed to your ministry after I had watched your Facebook video on seed sowing and naming your seed offering.
I am presently believing in God for finances to pay for my Masters program this September. I was blessed with an offer letter and partial scholarship by one of the University’s i had applied to and I am very expectant for another scholarship for another scholarship from another school and I’m yet to receive a formal offer letter from the University, which is the one I really want to attend. However, there have been obstacles with obstruction from my graduate university on sending my transcripts to my preferred university that have been frustrating my faith and has created words of doubt from friends and family that knoe about this Faith journey I’m on.
But yoyr emails and posts on faith, seed sowing have been encouraging to me and I’m truly grateful for the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. Thank you for your posts, God bless you beyond all measures in Jesus name. Amen.

This word is indeed an encouragement Dor me because just this afternoon I prayed and I traded my faith with the Lord has put in me for my current situation where I have been struggling in my mind and my heart. The timing and content of this Word is Holy and accurate. Praise God for confirming His Word.
He must increase and pressing forward. The pressing forward is a struggle right now, but while He increases so do His purposes. I’ll meditate on that.
God keeps His promises and He will deliver! Amen–it is so! I felt pressured to take another (very angry) grandchild in my home and I love him but I felt I was already being stretched beyond measure. Yet, I heard the Lord say, ‘you can do this’. Everything in me fought against it. The resentment in me was at crisis level. Called the case worker intending to tell her I can’t do this. Something happened in our home where the spirit of peace just blew through like a gentle wind. I never told case worker what I was feeling, but instead talked about solutions. Two hours later, I read this post. Now I know this chapter of my life in truly in his hands.

I know this Word is for me, it’s confirmation of the things that God is doing in my life. God is truly stretching me and it’s uncomfortable, because I don’t want to fail Him but, it’s also exciting. I had been praying and praying about having a weekly family Bible Study, because I want my household just saturated with God’s Presence, but He had other ideas. Way bigger ideas about my Bible Study plans than I ever thought possible so I’m grateful and in awe of Him. Everyday I fall more and more in love with the Father, and I pray that I am living a life that is pleasing to Him.
Yep, this message was for me. This very afternoon, while tithing on a large inheritance I’ve had invested for a couple of years, I felt the challenge to give much more than 10%. I intend to do just that.
