Prophetic Word: Father Is Testing You, But He Knows Your Strength

Beloved, if you feel like you’re in the fight of your life, I have an encouraging word for you today.
This is what the Lord showed me:
Many of you have lost “the feels.” In your previous season, you were used to feeling Papa God holding you up. You were used to seeing Jesus’ face easily. However, right now, you know you’re still close to Him–but you can’t feel His hand on you.
If that’s you, Papa God wants you to know that He is testing you for your own good.
You’ve been getting stronger and stronger in the place where you’ve been. However, Papa wants you to develop your backbone. He wants you to develop strength in your back and in your shoulder muscles, so you’ll be able to lift more, stand longer, handle more, and walk further.
To that end, His arms are still around you–but He is allowing you to not feel them right now.
His eyes are still on you. His face is still right in front of yours. He still sees everything you’re doing, and you’re still sitting on His lap. But, you can’t feel anything except your foundation.
If you look closely, though, you’ll see His arms all around you. Although you may not feel them, His arms have actually never left you. You have never left His embrace–not because of your ability to remain, but because of HIS ability to keep you.
Beloved, look around you. Sit up, take notice, and trust.
If you’ll trust that you’re still on Papa’s lap and that underneath you are His everlasting arms, you’re going to see a big, beautiful world around you. If you’ll trust that He won’t ask you to do anything you can’t do, you can discover muscles you never knew you had. And if you’ll keep your eyes on His face, you can distract yourself from the worry and uncertainty that are coming against your flesh.
You are being tested, but it’s a test Papa knows you can pass.
Psalm 17:3 says:
You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and found nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress” (Psalm 17:3).
And Psalm 11:4-5 says:
Papa God knows the purity of your love for Him.
He knows you inside and out, better than you could ever know yourself. He knows the innocence of your spirit, for He restored your innocence when He washed you in the blood of Jesus. He knows your sweet spirit and your utter inability to care for yourself.
Papa is going to take care of you.
Just like a baby cannot take care of himself, so you cannot take care of yourself. It’s okay, though. Abba Father has got you. He’s got you! He is aware of the chaos around you. He understand what you cannot understand. He sees what you cannot see.
But He also knows your strength.
He formed you in your mother’s womb. He knit your bones together with His own two hands. He knows what you’re capable of, and He knows He made you to do a lot more than you think you can do.
Father knows your potential.
Soon, it will be time to move forward. You will advance slowly at first, but then you will begin to run. However, running takes muscles … and those are the muscles you’re building right now.
Do not get discouraged with the practice.
Keep stretching. Keep reaching. Keep staring at Father’s face. Keep lifting those arms. Keep balancing where you are. Minute by minute, day by day, you will grow. And before you know it–without even realizing that the test is over–you will be in a place you couldn’t imagine being even three months ago.
You are growing. Don’t give up.
Just keep growing. Just keep practicing. Keep drinking the sincere milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby. And soon, you’ll be off and running.

I know that your message was for me. I registered a grievance for post promotion at my workplace during 2016. I really prayed as asked God’s way during the process. Everything went smoothly and I won the arbitration. I had so many peace in my heart. It is currently referred for reviewing at my Head Office and all of a sudden I feel that the employer maybe wants to reject the award? please pray for me for strength. I do not believe that the Lord will forsake me now? ..the feeling and thoughts I get is not from HIM….

It appears a timely word, we must not be weary but rest in His love.

“Papa God knows the purity of your love for Him”. Sorry – this is not true for me. I have long lost my first love for God and am bitter and angry against God – for He tests me beyond what my faith can cope with and my faith has long failed. So how can you also say that God knows that I am going to pass this 42 year wilderness test!!! No -Ive failed this 42 year wilderness test. God is not testing me to develop my backbone. He is now judging me!!!
Hi Paul. I am sorry to hear that you are away from the Lord, especially as I know for sure that you have been a blessing to others in helping them find healing. I pray that you would return to your first love, repent for your anger and bitterness, and receive His forgiveness so you can be close to Him again. 1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
I am praying for you; but, more importantly, Father is standing on the porch longing desperately for His son Paul to come home.

I truly appreciate your article about the father testing me. The past couple of months I have been really down and out, my spirit was an absolute roller coaster and could not understand why my efforts all seemed to just back slide and my temptations have taken a completely direction.
This is giving me strength to carry on in faith, knowing that God will work out my troubles for good. Stay blessed 🙂

I am in a deep valley, and have been trying to climb my way out for quite some time, but the view ahead seems ominous & too hard to tackle.
Your words are just what I need. There is so much that I want to do for others and for God, but I feel so utterly weighed down and, oftentimes, hopeless to be useable.
Would you please pray for me? I have never felt so distant from our Father as I have over the last year. My prayer life has suffered greatly as I have felt my prayers have fallen on deaf ears and my faith has suffered greatly.
My soul is so weary, and I long to feel His Strength & Presence again.

praise the Lord!yes all i need is a word of confirmation from the Lord,i was in doubt of what iam going through right now within my family. All i know that God will leave me,can’t even pray or even read my bible for the past few months.I believe i am losing my relationship with the Lord. This Prophetic Word speaks to me in ways I can’t even explain . I keep pushing to get through the rough patches,and it takes all I got not to give up . God keeps giving Me a certain verse every time I want to leave and give up .Be still and know that I am God Psalm 46 : 10. .. He is turning me into the person He intended me to be. It is a rough journey but with Him on my side I know I will get through it.
I’m praying for you Jamie–that your work will be successful and you are able to reach so many more people. Your words have spoken to me on more than one occasion and I know you’re doing an amazing thing here!! I love this article so much because it comes at a time when I feel God moving all around me, but I don’t feel His presence beside me and I feel a little “out to sea”!
