Prophetic Word: “I Am God of the Midnight Hour”

Beloved, do you feel worn out by waiting? If so, this word about waiting on the Lord is going to minister to you. In this word, the Lord spoke to me about how He is the God of the midnight hour, but also about WHAT He is doing in us while we each wait on Him diligently.

I heard the Lord say:

“I am God Who frequently shows up in manifestation at the midnight hour, but I want you to know that I am with you always.

I see the stress and pressure of the waiting; I see how hard you are working, trying to be faithful and diligent unto My name. And I see how you need My help.

But I want you to know that I am right here with you, and that providing what you need is no problem for Me! I can snap My fingers and do it, but My chief end is conforming you to the image of Christ–and that is why I wait sometimes, and then come suddenly into your situation, bringing all My solutions to the forefront!

For I the Lord am with you to comfort you and bring you strength.

And believe it or not, the strength you need is found in waiting on Me! Remember how I renew the strength of those who wait upon Me? Well, that strength fashions you and shapes you for all kinds of wonderful purposes!

The strength I am forming in you right this very moment is a strength that advances you forward in your destiny in Me; it is a strength that lifts you up as if on eagle’s wings; it is a strength that makes your way perfect!

And O, beloved, I want you to have this strength!

But I know what you are made of, for I fashioned you Myself. You are the clay, and I am the Potter. And so I alone know how to help you grow the best.

I know it is difficult to wait on Me at times, beloved one, but I am the God of the midnight hour!

I Am God of the midnight hour, and I am not worried about how I will provide–for I WILL provide all you need! And I am not worried about whether or not I will be fast enough, quick enough, strong enough, or on time. I will be all that I am, for I AM the I Am! My very existence is all that you need!

So, O, beloved, will you rest in Me?

Will you allow Me to carry you and draw you closer to Me while you wait upon Me? Will you allow Me to come to you at the midnight hour if that is what I deem best, and will you keep your eyes on Me while I humbly serve you and take care of you, even when My best purposes mean that you have to wait a little while?

For I am indeed serving you by caring for you all night and all day. No, I didn’t have to do that; I am God of the universe. But I love you so much that I chose to humble Myself and become obedient to My Father, even to the death on the cross.

I served you in this as I obeyed Him, and I continue serving you with My love to this day–even though I am not obligated to do it, but it is Who I Am, for I love you THAT MUCH!

I know it is hard to wait on Me at times, My beloved one.

But, in your waiting, you are renewing your strength. And I will never be late. I will not always be early, but I will never be late! I am indeed an on-time God, and I am here for you with all that I am, and with all that I have!

Call upon Me, and I will answer you today and show you great and mighty things that you do not know!

For I the Lord am God of the midnight hour, and I know it feels darkest at midnight. But that is why, at midnight, you have to pray harder and believe Me for more! For I am God all by Myself, and I can give you anything you ask Me for–if you will just ask and believe!

I love you, precious child.

I love you so much, and I have not abandoned you nor forsaken you. I am with you to keep you, and to bring you by the way of eternal life–which is being formed in you already.

For you have eternal life in Me by making Me your Lord and Savior, but I am also forming My life to be visible in you by working in your character while I bring you through various processes of waiting. And I know that I will provide all you need, so I need you to focus on the more important work of drawing close to Me and letting Me change you to be conformed to My image.

Pray about your provision, but your provision will surely come as you seek Me first in all things!” says the Lord Jesus Christ to you today.
