Prophetic Word: Take Risks!

I felt Holy Spirit hovering over me with this prophetic word a moment ago, and I wanted to share it with you.
This is what I heard the Lord say:

“Beloved, it’s time to take risks. Peter would never have walked on water if he hadn’t stepped out of the boat.
Many of you have been waiting for an encounter with Me, but I am waiting for an encounter with you in which you step out in faith to meet Me.
My Word is true. It cannot return to Me void. I have given you the word about what to do. You know it in your spirit, and you read it in the pages of My Word.
But you have not stepped out. You have hesitated, not sure if I will meet you there.
So I challenge you today: put out a fleece. Put your toe in. Try Me and see what I will do for you.
I am the Fountain of many waters. I never run dry. I never get tired. I never expire. My plans for you are never-ending; they are always full and flourishing. I see you as being full and flourishing in My economy.
But you have to step into My economy in order to realize those plans–in order to see them become manifest in your life. And My economy is based on faith. My economy means taking risks to obey Me. Remember that Abraham went out, not knowing where he was going … but he was never alone. He went out in obedience to My voice.
So I urge you. Try Me with your fleece if you need to. It won’t offend Me.
Put your toes into the water. Take a step, then a step, then another step. You will see Me meet you when you do. I will meet you at the point of your need.”

I feel it is really do but what does it mean to me
I really needed to hear this today. I am stepping out in faith about giving my tithe. This is going to be a real test of my faith. I am retired I will have to tithe $400.00 a month. I am now living on $4000.00 a month. My desire is to get out of debt. I know in my heart that all things are possible with God. Here I go. Pray forme tobestreghtened in this. May god bless your blog. Susan, I too live on a fixed monthly income of $700.00. I tithe as soon as I get my money without waiting to see if there’s enough. There’s never enough, right!? Father ALWAYS meets my needs. Always. Honestly, I was thinking,”Wow! What I could do with $4000.00 a month!”. My point is, no matter what the income, when you are obedient to do what God says HE will bless and take care of you! Be blessed.

Oh man! This is super timely, as this Friday is tentatively my last day at my desk job at my dad’s company. The only reason I say “tentatively,” is because he’s not been around for me to give him my two weeks. Eep!
