5 Declarations of Revival to Speak Over Your Church

5 Declarations of Revival to Speak Over Your Church | by Jamie Rohrbaugh | FromHisPresence.comEarlier this year, the Lord gave me five prophetic declarations/decrees of God’s Word for me and the intercessors at my church to speak out over our house. When we did, the Lord sat on them powerfully.

I thought I would share these declarations of revival with you also, so that you can also speak them out over your church if you also are hungry for revival.

So without further ado, here are 5 declarations of revival to speak out over your church:

Declaration 1: Unity

In the name of Jesus, we decree that the Spirit of the Lord God is upon us at this church because the Lord has anointed us to preach good tidings to the meek, the poor, and the afflicted. He has sent us to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.

The Lord has anointed and sent us to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

In this Jubilee year, we decree freedom to the captives. We declare an end to racism in Jesus’ name. Let the color line be washed away in the blood of Jesus. We decree an end to sexism and class discrimination. We confess that, in Christ, there is neither Greek nor Jew, male nor female, slave nor free; but Christ is all and in all.

We decree unity here in the Body of Christ, and we speak to everything causing any disunity and we say: Be removed and cast into the sea, in Jesus’ name! Let the unity of the Holy Spirit and the bond of peace come forth right now, in Jesus’ name!

Declaration 2: Freedom and deliverance

In the name of Jesus, we decree that here at our church, we know the truth, and the truth sets us free. We plead the blood of Jesus over every chain of deception, despair, despondency, and bondage, and we break every chain in Jesus’ name.

Heavenly Father, we collectively repent for every door we’ve opened up or left open to the enemy: any doors of unforgiveness, disunity, hatred, fear, the occult, and sexual sin. Father, we confess these things as sin and we ask You to forgive this Body for every circumstance and every occasion in which we have practiced these things.

In the name of Jesus, we close every door that has been open to the enemy in Jesus’ name, and we seal those doors shut with the blood of Jesus.

Father God, we ask You to convict each of our hearts for anything we need to get right with You. Give us clean hands and pure hearts, and let us not lift our souls to idols or swear deceitfully. Father God, wash us in the blood of Jesus and fill us with the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

I decree that, at this church, we are immune to seduction and filled with the Holy Spirit of valor, wisdom, and revelation. We loudly confess Isaiah 8:20: “To the law and to the testimony! If they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.”

We decree that we are set free from every lie, trick, and bondage of the enemy by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who has washed us with His blood.

We offer no cause for curses to alight on us. We are covered with the blood of Jesus here, and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn. This is our heritage, for we are servants of the Lord, and our righteousness is of the Lord.

Declaration 3: Revelation of Christ

In the name of Jesus, I decree that Jesus Christ reigns here and our hearts are filled with the revelation of Christ. I decree that every person who walks in these doors shall have a magnificent obsession with the Son of God. I decree that the love of Christ dwells in us richly and the Spirit of Christ fills our hearts.

I decree that since we have the mind of Christ, we walk in the humility of Christ. We love and prefer others as better than ourselves. We release the testimony of Jesus everywhere we go. We humble ourselves and are obedient to our Father in Heaven, just like Jesus is.

I bind every person here to Jesus Christ, our Bridegroom. I bind our thoughts to the thoughts of Christ. I bind our words to the words of Christ. I decree that we only say what we hear the Father saying and do what we hear the Father doing.

I decree that we take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we cast down every vain imagination and every high and lofty thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ.

I decree that we are not conformed to this world, but are instead transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God for us. I decree that we are fully submitted to the Holy Spirit; that we are tuned in to hear His voice; that we walk in the ways of God and do the deeds of God.

Declaration 4: The Spirit of revival

In the name of Jesus, I decree the Spirit of revival, the Holy Spirit of Jesus, dwells here. We make Him welcome in everything we do.

I decree that we are all baptized with the Holy Spirit and with fire, and that we walk in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. I decree that we seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all things shall be added to us.

In the name of Jesus, I decree that every person at our church shall have a sold-out spirit to Jesus Christ. I decree that we hunger and thirst for righteousness more than we ever have before, and we shall be filled.

I decree new life, fresh wind, fresh breath, fresh passion, and fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit shall fill us now and every day going forward.

I decree that every knee must bow to Jesus Christ and to what the Holy Spirit desires to do here at our church, and I decree that the Gospel shall be preached here with more fire, more power, and greater influence than ever before in Jesus’ name.

I decree that both the former rain and the latter rain of the Holy Spirit are poured out on us together. I decree that as our Father pours out His Spirit upon all flesh, the sons and daughters shall prophesy; our old men and women shall dream dreams, and our young men and women shall see visions.

Let the fame and reknown of Jesus Christ go forth from this house and glorify our Father in Heaven, and let the glory of the Lord from this house cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

Declaration 5: Signs, wonders, and the proclamation of the Gospel

In the name of Jesus, I decree that signs and wonders shall follow the preaching of the Word here. I decree that the Lord works with us as we preach, confirming His Word with signs, wonders, miracles, healings, cleansing of lepers, casting out demons, and the resurrection of the dead.

I decree that as the Word of God goes forth, His Word runs swiftly into our hearts and takes root in good soil, bringing forth 30, 60, and 100 times more fruit. I decree that the holy seed of the Word of God is protected here.

I speak to every hindrance, obstacle, debt, and lack which stands in the way of the ministry of the Gospel, and I say: Be removed and cast into the sea. In the name of Jesus, I decree that this house is a breeding ground for evangelists and evangelism.

I decree that the Lord of the harvest thrusts out more laborers into His harvest field from this house than ever before. I decree that every son and every daughter of this house puts his or her hand to the plow according to each one’s gifts and calling.

I decree that the work of the Gospel shall be fully financed with abundance for every servant of God. I decree that the people of God here at our church shall do great exploits; that the Kingdom of God manifests here in power and joy; and that there shall be no end of the increase of Jesus’ government and peace.

Do these declarations speak to your heart? If so, speak them out loud over your local church (and even over yourself!) and watch God work! And, please leave a comment below if these ministered to you. I’d love to hear from you!
