The words below are two of the prophetic words that the Lord spoke to me yesterday for individual readers (as part of a virtual book signing event). These words hit me really hard–in a good way–and I felt like there was extreme significance to the references to the prophet Elijah. So many of us feel like we’re in a drought, but I believe the Lord wants to reiterate to you today that He is personally providing for all your needs–both emotional needs, spiritual needs, and physical needs.

I pray that you will be encouraged by these words as well.

    Word 1:

“The sun is rising, and I am feeding you supernaturally. I know it feels like daily bread sometimes, and it is; but it will not run out nor fail to be enough!

How did the prophet Elijah feel when the ravens had to bring him his bread? Did he feel that I had abandoned him? Surely he was tempted, but he kept his faith in Me. You must do the same, for I will be just as faithful to you—and the end of the famine is coming,” says the Lord. “This is your sunrise season still, even when clouds are obscuring parts of the sunrise!” says your Father in Heaven.

    Word 2:

“Elijah the prophet had to wait on Me for his daily bread, but I filled him with so much power that he was able to literally call fire down from Heaven on multiple occasions. The slow way is not always the worst way. Elijah saw Me feeding him slowly, and he even got depressed on occasion as well. But he knew Me, and he knew that I had sent him—and that I would be faithful to him.

If you want that kind of power, remember that sometimes I form it slowly in you. The enemy would tempt you to be depressed or discouraged when you do not see what you need quickly, but I will not abandon you. Indeed, sometimes I pause everything else because I am filling you with My power. Such is the case with you right now.

I have not forgotten your need, but I am filling you with My power and putting other things on hold for the moment,” says the Lord. “But the momentary holding pattern may not last very long; look for My suddenlies to break through any moment, for I am still God Who moves fast, as well as moving slow at times too!” says the Lord.
