4 Prophetic Words for Today

Friend, have you been struggling with discouragement over the battles you are continually facing? If so, these four short prophetic words for today are for you.

The words below are four of my favorite prophetic words that the Lord spoke to me yesterday for individual readers (as part of a virtual book signing event). These words encouraged me personally, and I pray that the Lord will use them to strengthen and encourage you also.

And remember, these words are unisex. If a word below says “son” or “daughter,” just interpret that with your own gender. God is no respecter of persons. 🙂

Word 1:

“I truly have you in the land flowing with milk and honey, but you have been feeling like that land was going to be unoccupied when you arrived—but now you know that the land is indeed occupied, and you are having to drive out the occupants. You are having to drive out obstacles in your Promised Land like overwork, failure to rest, chaos, lack of planning, getting overwhelmed, lack of belief in what you can do through Me, and many other things.

But, beloved, I am with you! I am fighting through you and doing the work in your heart as you rest in Me!

I know it is hard, but these things are not too hard for you. Greater am I Who dwell within you than all the obstacles you could face in the world. I am helping you and upholding you, and I want you to keep your eyes on Me for encouragement.

For the enemy is trying to get you to look down, but the way forward is UP, with your eyes on My face, beloved one. I am giving you grace and strength, and I will not abandon you nor leave you without support. Remember that I am doing it in you and on your behalf, so you can continue to rest in Me—and I will bring it to pass!” says the Lord.

Word 2:

“I know you look at the circumstances around you and feel like it is impossible to ever get ahead of what assails you, but I tell you that it is not impossible at all. I am with you, and I am helping you do it!

For in this world you will have tribulation, but I am God Who brings you peace. As you look upon Me each morning, I will give you grace to handle a little more of what needs to be done each day. And truly you are making progress, for you are finding peace from the chaos little by little.

Little by little I am driving that chaos out from before you, just as I drove out the pagan nations little by little from before My people Israel when they entered the Promised Land,” says the Lord God of hosts.

Word 3:

“I see how tired you are of the enemy’s forces that beset you, but I have given you rest from your labors—and I am hedging you in with a hedge of protection all around you, and around those you love, as you pray.

For I see the long hours you have labored in prayer to Me. I have heard every prayer, and I see what you are doing to serve Me so faithfully. Your work will not go without reward; I am even now giving you thousandfold recompense in My Kingdom, even if you cannot see it yet.

There are some things you will not see until you get to Heaven, but I tell you that you have plenty of reward here on earth, and more shall pile upon you in these last days because of your great faithfulness to Me,” says the Father of lights, in Whom is no shadow of turning, and Who loves you with an everlasting love.

Word 4:

“I am honoring you for who I made you to be. I am making you beautiful in My eyes, as well as merciful, gentle, and kind. I am refining you as gold is refined in the fire, for I made you to carry My glory and My heart to the world around you. And because you are submitted to My work, I am bringing you forth shining like the gold you are.

Men shall see and be afraid of you, but I will send you helpers and co-runners who will line up with you shoulder to shoulder and believe in My grace in you. For I have placed My hand upon you, and I have covered you. Nothing has by any means harmed you, even when people tried to harm you.

I have kept you safe, and I have molded you and shaped you in the way I want you to go and to grow. You are doing great at submitting to My work in your heart. Keep on seeking Me daily and submitting to Me moment by moment, for you are one of My crown jewels, and I am beyond delighted in you, My beloved child!” says the Lord.
