Presence Seekers University signupDear Presence seeker, do you feel forgotten today?

Do you feel overlooked? Passed over, passed by, unimportant, dishonored?

Do you feel like people around you are all walking in their dreams, but you don’t seem to be making any progress toward yours? If so, I have an encouraging word for you today.

I wrote an article for iBelieve.com this month called “7 Life-Changing Prayers for People Who Feel Forgotten.” It was just published two days ago. And I’m freaking out, because as I went to get the link to share with you this morning, I saw that it had already been shared 526 times.

Apparently, a lot of people feel forgotten.

I understand this whole feeling-forgotten thing.

I wrote this article based on 7 specific, aggressive prayers the Lord gave me during a time in which I felt very, very overlooked. And I didn’t just “feel” overlooked. It wasn’t “all in my head.” I was overlooked.

People didn’t see me with Spirit eyes. They saw me and treated me like I was of little value. It stank. It was miserable. I hated that sense of dishonor that was foisted upon me because of other people’s inability to see the way God sees.

But the truth is: Every son and every daughter in the Kingdom is of EXTREME value.

YOU are valuable. YOU are precious. YOU are needed. YOU were created for such a time as this.

And so am I.

That’s what God’s Word says.

You don’t have to put up with being forgotten.

But it takes aggressive prayer to get out of that place.

I was doing a video call with a precious sister yesterday who was in this situation. Together, we made an aggressive prayer plan, customized for her situation.

There is greatness in that sister, and her spirit knows it. It’s time for her not to be trodden over anymore, and she’s ready to pray aggressively. She’s ready to see God’s huge plans manifest in her life.

She’s ready to fulfill the call of her ministry with the boldness and power Christ purchased for her on His cross.

I can’t wait to see what God does in, for, and through her. The Lion of Judah is on the move, and He’s roaring over her spirit.

And if you’re fed-up-to-your-eyeballs with feeling forgotten too, my article on iBelieve.com this month will show you how to pray aggressively so you can get out of this place also.

  1. Thank you Jamie. I don’t know, most of the time, l feel deserted . I have to give a call to my family (siblings etc) and friends to ask of their wellness. They don’t. This makes me sad and feel rejected.

    1. Freda, I do understand. I’m sorry this is the case for you. However, I would encourage you to read today’s blog post if you haven’t already. I believe it will comfort you. Our Father is honoring His desolate ones right now. May He lift you up and comfort you in all things, in Jesus’ name.

    2. Hi Freda. Unfortunately, many people are like that–not asking about others and caring only about themselves. The only way to defeat it is to not be like that, and to reach out to others yourself. I know it hurts sometimes, trust me. But it’s worth it to do right in the sight of the Lord.

  2. Rebecca L Jones says:

People didn’t see me with Spirit eyes. may I borrow that phrase? And you know what sometimes maybe they do and there is still jealousy and even an aversion to women in ministry still.

    1. Sure. Yes, there is that aversion in some places. It’s getting less and less though, thank God.

  3. Powerful blog Jamie. My spirit needed this boost.

    1. Hi Nicola. Thank you so much for reading! So glad it blessed you, and I hope you are doing well.

  4. Hi Jamie,
Thanks for the prayer Points and scriptures to back it up. I have already received what I prayed for and I will carry on praying this prayer for influence and favour in my new job. May God bless you abundantly for the beautiful work that you do.
