7 Prayers for When You Feel Afraid

Do you struggle with fear? Whether that fear is situational or long-term, you can get rid of fear.

Fear is a demonic spirit. When you feel afraid, it’s because that demon is harassing you with thoughts of fear.

The good news is that Jesus paid the price with His blood for you to be completely delivered from ALL harassment by the spirit of fear. You can be delivered and walk in freedom because Jesus died to set you free!

A lot of people try to get free from fear by exercising faith, but faith is not the antidote to fear. Faith is the opposite of doubt and unbelief, so faith cures doubt and unbelief. However, 1 John 4:18 tells us what cures fear:

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18).

So if you struggle with fear, you can be healed by being made perfect in love.

If you feel afraid today, I wrote seven super-short prayers that will help you get free from fear and be made perfect in love.

I wrote these prayers for this month’s article on iBelieve.com, and it was posted there a few days ago.
