8 Prophetic Words of Hope

Here are 8 short words of hope and encouragement that the Lord gave me today for individual readers (as part of our virtual book signing I worked on from last week). As you read these, please notice in particular how the Lord speaks with so much HOPE, joy, and comfort! That is His heart for you.

Yes, He disciplines us sometimes, but the prophetic word in the church is not for discipline. It is for comfort and edification. Edification does sometimes include instruction, but only instruction that builds up. Click here to read more about how and why any prophetic word is for you if it comforts you (according to 2 Corinthians chapter 1).

Word 1:

“I am bringing you into a time of warmth, peace, and quiet. The quiet life your soul yearns for can be found as you seek Me each morning, entering My stillness and yielding to eternity in My presence.

In My presence there is activity, but no rushing–for in My presence there is no time. I simply AM, and I abide. And when you focus your concentration on Me, you will enter that manifestation of My presence that is far superior to rushing and time.

When you simply focus on Me, I will help you get everything done–but you will feel a sense of being surrounded by Myself and My anointing like a warm blanket. You will have peace in your soul, without rushing. And time will be your friend, rather than a voice that says ‘not good enough.’

You are My darling [child], and I am culling things from your life that make you rushed or frantic. Have peace in Me, and I will give you rest,” says the Lord God who loves you.

Word 2:

“The wheels have been turning in your life in slow motion for awhile now, and I am bringing you full-circle to a place of rest. The last season was necessary, but you are learning more and more that I am the One you need to accomplish everything.

Allow My Spirit to turn you slowly, and don’t get in too much of a hurry; for My move in you today contributes to My move in you tomorrow. I am gently shaping you every day, and making you what I want you to be. I am perfecting you in My love for you, and all things shall be new in time!” says the Father who loves you. 

Word 3:

“Sometimes you have felt like you are swimming along slowly, with duck feet–all work and not much progress. But I tell you that I am coming up under you with the wind of My Spirit.

I am removing things that have held you back, and I am putting My jetstream in your life to move you along at the speed of a porpoise in some things, rather than at the speed of a duck! I am making you sleek and streamlined in Me, and I am giving you wings to ride the wind of My move in your life.

Depend on Me, for I am faithful to perform what I have promised you!” says the Father who loves you.

Word 4:

“I am singing love songs over you, playing music into your spirit to restore your heart and bring you courage and strength. My music changes you in every moment, for it is truly the sound of Heaven and the sound of My heart.

Enter into the joy of worshipping Me in the still and secret places, and you will feel My song resonating in your spirit and changing your heartstrings to vibrate at the same frequency as Mine,” says the Lord God Almighty, the Chief Musician of the universe.

Word 5:

“I am giving you divine upgrades in accordance with Isaiah 60:17. Whereas you received little blessings before in many ways, you have persevered enough to be able to handle bigger blessings!

Your perseverance grows your shoulders wide enough to handle the burden of bigger blessings, opportunities, and responsibilities. Do not worry; I will be with you to handle the upgrades, just as I have been with you to handle every upgrade before now.

Rejoice in this season, for this is the day the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it!” says the Lord God who loves you and dotes on you. 

Word 6:

“I am offering you a springboard for a deep dive into the well of My Spirit. My springboard requires you to jump, but I assure you that My Spirit will catch you.

I am with you and in you, and I will never leave you alone, even when you take those BIG leaps of faith! Giant leaps can bring giant breakthroughs. And even when they bring little breakthroughs, they still help you make giant progress in your intimacy with Me.

Guard your faith and keep your heart, for I am with you to help you fly,” says the Father who loves you!

Word 7:

“I am the apple of Your eye, and you are the apple of Mine. Trust Me when I tell you that I know how much you love Me. And I am the rewarder of those who diligently seek Me, so will you not have rewards?

I say to you, you will have rewards upon rewards upon rewards! Look now for them, and thank Me even for the small things; for your offering of thanksgiving to Me gets the snowball of blessing rolling in your life!” says the Father who loves you.

Word 8:

“I am covering you with My blood, covering you with My kiss of love, and covering all that pertains to you with My protection and favor. You are the apple of My eye, and I take great delight in you.

I love the way you love Me, and I assure you that I am rewarding you for seeking Me. Think of your biggest dreams and thank Me that I am providing for them; it will change your perspective and help you to receive more from Me.

Remember that I am the great Dreamer of dreamers, and I am watching over you to bring My will to fruition!” says the Father who loves you.
