1. It is a month of contending.
The Lord says: “I am doing a new thing in April; I am making rivers in the desert. Contend for it!

For I have seen the need that you have, as well as your dreams and desires. The time has come for Me to act, but I need you to co-labor with Me through your intercession and prayer in order to release all that I desire into your life.
You are not forgotten and your time has come,” says the Lord. “This is the day and this is the month that I have made to prosper you, and I tell you that I shall do it, for I will keep My Word. Make a list of everything that is desert in your life, and watch Me turn it into a river!”
2. It is a month of focus.

3. It is a month of rest.
We will not be able to focus or contend like we need to in this season unless we do it from a place of rest. The contending will be too draining, and distractions will be too many, unless we purposely take significant time to rest and focus on the Lord in this month.
I heard the Lord say:
“Come away with Me and rest awhile. For I need you to see Me with fresh eyes of faith and love, and that level of faith comes when you stare at Me a long while and hear My voice. But you cannot hear Me clearly when you are so distracted by other things.
Position yourself from a place of rest in extra-special ways this month, taking all the time you need each day to strengthen yourself and keep your eyes fixed on Me at all times. In this place of rest, I will also give you revelation about new things you can do that will see you through to the place you want to be in Me,” says the Lord.

I can’t really say that I know what you are going through. But, I can say that I have had the feeling of despair, pain, faith being tested, hurt, etc. Keep your FAITH- Let God work through everything- Stay Silent, and watch. Let everything just swarm you- they will find their own pathway. I am praying for you right now.

Thank you for your obedience. Praise God, this is such an on time Word for me. I needed to receive this today. Contend, focus, and remain in His Rest. The Resting place ensures we are ready to receive and hear His supernatural solutions and creative ideas. I’m keeping my eyes on Jesus.

Contend, Lord, with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me.
Yes, Lord, these distractions and dryness will end in Jesus name. You fight for me and I receive your Rest, peace, and solutions.

YES my King 👑🔥👣, I hear you, Yes I been Sooooo distracted, in this couples of months, because illness and Operation, I know you are the healer of all, my family been going through tough times lately, it started 3 years ago, Since My grandson gotten killed, someone were trying to Rob him, every since then, We As My family been going through, LORD, How Long LORD, WE ARE GETTING TRIED, I TALK TO YOU EVERY DAY 😞 PLEASE PRAY, FOR MY FAMILY, GOD IS STILL GOOD, NO MATTER WHAT, I LOVE HIM 💗
I am sitting in Tucson right now praying, “Lord, make rivers in the desert! Rivers of living water for homeless people, for abandoned spouses, for the spiritually thirsty. Use me, Lord!”
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been in a contending season for 2.5 years now, and experiencing bouts of anxiety and discouragement that never happened before, root cause: disappointments! These words are action-tools for a change. God bless us all to focus on the Lord, get up and go while resting in Him.
