This word may not be for everyone; but if it’s for you, you’ll know it.

The Lord showed me this morning that some of His people have been dealing with ongoing problems that make them angry. If that’s you, you may be filled with love and joy all the rest of your days; but when you deal with this particular thing, you get so angry that you are afraid you’ll lose your cool and do something bad.

If that’s you, the Lord wants you to know that the solutions you’ve been looking for–the solutions that have been elusive despite your best efforts–are out there for you. The thing is, they’re out there … available to you, but you’ll have to seek them out.

The Lord showed me that a simple Google search will provide the answer to some of these problems that make you angry.

The issue is that you didn’t realize any creative skills existed in this area. You didn’t realize that it took special skills of negotiating and reverse psychology in order to solve these problems. You thought the solutions were straight-forward, like everything else in life.

But, I feel by the Spirit of God that, for many of you, the solutions you need to problems that make you the angriest are a finger’s breadth away. You will find them as soon as you begin looking outside yourself for resources you didn’t know existed.

The solutions you need aren’t in the resources you already have.

You’ve already tried certain resources, and you didn’t find them helpful at all. In fact, the sense of discernment you have told you that some of the things that people recommended to you were an absolute crock.

But, there are other solutions out there–books, classes, mentors, and information freely available to you via a simple Google search–that the Lord will lead you to, if you will but ask Him to do it and then seek the solutions out.

Remember the Word of the Lord in Matthew 7:7-11:

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”

And remember His promise in Psalm 32:8:

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”

Some of you have actually given up on seeing solutions.

You’ve been depressed, upset, and discouraged because you thought there was no solution to your problem. You thought that this misery was your portion for the rest of your life.

However, the Lord wants you to know that He will lead you to the solutions you seek. Just ask Him, and then seek out the answers you need in places you haven’t looked before.

He will give you guidance and discernment to distinguish real solutions from the ones that are a crock. He’ll show you which way to go; you will know because you will try the first steps immediately upon reading them, and you will see immediate results.

Anger is not your portion. Misery is not your portion.

Your portion is righteousness, PEACE, JOY, and power in God’s Holy Spirit–in all things, including:

  • Your finances;
  • Your family;
  • Your work;
  • Your business;
  • Your health; and everything else that pertains to you.

Ask the Lord to solve your problem for you THIS WEEK. Ask Him to show you the solutions, plural, this week. If you will, He will.

  1. Thank you Jamie. I know this may sound stupid but in all these…family, finances, work, etc…I always expected everything to come easy for me and never could understand why it never has. I was a spoiled brat and in some ways still am as much as I hate to admit it. Books didn’t help. Advice didn’t. Either I didn’t listen or it just didn’t work for me like it did for them. I truthfully should have done this a long time ago. The Lord knows just what I need when I need it. Thank you Jesus

    1. Hi Courtney. Usually, when things don’t come easy for one person, it’s because that person is called to lead OTHERS out of the same thing. And you can’t lead others out of the wilderness until you have fought the battle to get out of the wilderness yourself. So when it’s dead-center in the middle of your call, usually you have to work it out yourself to gain a big enough, strong enough victory that you can impart and teach to others.
      Hope this encourages you!
      Love,
      Jamie

I have lost everything again, my house, my job and the love of my life my sweet baby cat Oreo, most of my clothes, all of my furniture, medications and all of my important papers including my birth certificate, my nursing assistant certificate EVERYTHING. I am disappointed in myself and every effort I made to prevent this all from happening failed. I have been consistently reading the Bible, praying and worshiping everyday for over the past two months. 15. Thank you Jamie. This word is for me. I was battling anger towards my husband about an issue that I feel will never go away. It’s so hard. I was so angry and felt justified in it. But I knew it was wrong. This word was so on time and disarmed me completely. Thank you for your obedience. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness.
    God bless you Jamie and your family. You are a mighty blessing to me.

  16. Thank you Jamie. I felt that this word was for me too. I was just talking to someone today about the symptoms of perimenopause I’ve been dealing with, numerous hot flashes in the day and some at night and cold flashes, trouble sleeping, waking up at night and not being able to get back to sleep, etc.. leaving me frustrated,upset and less patient than before and wondering how bad all this is going to get and how long it will last. . I’ve been concerned that this irritability might start affecting my interactions with people. I am trying different supplements, will switch to Soy milk, but I am not sure what else to do. I will ask the Lord to lead me to find other solutions to reduce these symptoms. He has the answer.

  17. Definitely for me my life has been extremely difficult for a very long time. I have been dealing with a ongoing problem that continues to grow into deeper issues. I am so sick of being taken advantage of used & lies to, while they tell me that they love me so much and pretend to care about me. When I know better. But I have been given a word from the Lord concerning this and have been waiting on its fulfillment for 4 years now.. but it’s a complicated entanglement and I am so sick of dealing with this.. it has robbed me of soo much already! I think about leaving all the time but there is no way to do that because I have no car or anywhere to go.. I feel anger when I know that these things are happening and these situations present themselves over and over and continue to grow.i am disgusted by them… I don’t know what God has in mind but I wish he would make it all stop and allow me to catch them in the act of betrayal towards me where they cannot deny the truth anymore.

    Hi Jamie,
    This word was not for me, but two words at the end we in all caps and was a confirmation to my husband and me and what we spoke of this morning from another post on Building Your Ministry. Also, this comment that you wrote back to Courtney was for us. Thank you for being faithful, even in your responses!

  21. Marion Heard says:

    Thank you Jamie. The word was very encouraging because I have been angry, upset and discouraged concerning our ministry not growing, my not being able to see my grandchildren because of the divorce of my son and daughter-in-law we are not allowed to spend time with our grandchildren at the control of my ex-daughter-in-law and I often wonder why is all of this happening in my life. We have been in ministry 25 years now and there are only 5 or 6 members in attendance? 🙁
    I will indeed pray for guidance and discernment for real solutions and ask for instructions in the way in which we should proceed and look for the results. Thank you for speaking into my life.

  22. Thank you Jamie, I really needed this and realized one prayer I need to pray is for God to correct anything I may think that blocks His blessings to move forward in my life & make my dreams come true…

  23. You are so right about being angry. I was ready to begin fulfilling my purpose and dreams of full time ministry and owning a business. Then my grandson (now age 3) came along. Born to two irresponsible, unstable parents, it was me or foster care. I am struggling, angry, and resentlful. I love him–but he is a handful. I just don’t think I have what it takes to raise him. He is in daycare, but the evenings and weekends wear me out, not leaving much time for me. I was raised with the ‘spare the rod, spoil the child philosophy’, and I raised my children this way. It was all I knew. I learned early in my parenting year that physical punishment is not always the answer and there is a balance. I have tried so many non-physical punishment discipline methods but nothing seems to work with my grandson. Finally found a pediatrician that is understanding and willing to help. First thing is trying to get him to sleep all night (so maybe I can sleep all night). So far, the melatonin is only partially working. He’s extremely destructive often breaking things and violent–hits me and throws things at me. When I brought him home from the daycare, I spent the first 30 minutes of our evening chasing him down the street after he figured out how to open the door. By the grace of God, a neighbor caught him (he’s done this more than once) and brought him to me. I’m so frustrated and seem to have no answers. My prayer is that the Father would pour out wisdom upon me to give me peace , understanding, and direction.

  24. This was a Rhema word for me. I’m asking God to change my working hours. Currently I’m working 12 midnight to 8:30 AM. I chose these hours for family reasons. Now I’m in need of a change. Please agree with me that soon my hours would change. I prefer working 9 to 5.

  25. TABITHA SEKOATI says:

    I really need God’s guidance too. I have been battling with issues that have lasted for years and no apparent solution.only leading to anger, bitterness, frustration.
    I need divine intervention.
