I wanted to ask you a question today and also provide a year-end ministry report for 2015.
The question for you:
My reader survey, which is still open for additional responses by the way, 🙂 showed that the VAST majority of you prefer to receive blog updates via email.
Therefore, I am considering turning my email subscription list into an online, free equipping program. It would look like this:
When you opt in to get free email updates (including those of you who have already opted in), you would be joining my equipping program. You would receive exclusive emails from me, containing:
- blog updates whenever new content is posted;
- free training videos (YouTube, etc) that I recommend (these would largely be sermons and messages that I personally am learning from, or those that I have already learned from);
- recommendations for paid resources that I am personally studying, if I think they would help you (sermons, training CDs, etc)
- activation exercises you can do to draw closer to the Lord, hear God better, etc;
- prophetic words that aren’t on the blog; and
- exclusive product discounts on my products when they’re available.
Nothing would change about what I post on the blog itself. The Lord has given me an amazing calendar of posts and things to put on the blog this year, and it’s going to be an awesome year! And I would still be posting some prophetic words on the blog, etc.
But this equipping program would be different because it give me a way to provide additional training for you that you can study at your own pace, and you would receive ADDITIONAL prophetic words that I don’t have space to share on the blog.
In addition to regular blog updates when I post new content, I would send probably one training exercise/video/etc per week, on Tuesdays, and occasional prophetic words whenever as the Lord leads.
The name of the equipping program would be:
What do you think? Would you be interested in having me do this? If so, please leave a comment below on this post. I need to hear from you about this, because it’s a serious commitment on my part and I will only do it if you want to participate. 🙂
Now, the 2015 ministry update:
I thought you’d like to know that, together, this community ended 2015 with over 400,000 pageviews on this blog. 401,793 pageviews, to be precise. Also, in 4th quarter, we exceeded 40,000 pageviews per month. 🙂
That’s 401,793 times that people were touched with the good news of Christ’s love. Happy people, sad people, broken people, hurting people were all encouraged together and pointed to the amazing, generous love of our good, good Father.
Together, we were also able to sow our first seed into missions from the proceeds of this blog.
It wasn’t a large amount of money, but because of your support, we were able to help a 15-year-old Guatemalan girl go to school to become a teacher. Read Claudia’s story on LynnAnn’s missionary blog here. (LynnAnn is another one of my pastor and spiritual dad’s daughters.)
It’s only the beginning, but the Lord has given me a vision that I hope to share more about soon. I desire to begin sowing into several specific mission projects as the Lord continues to bless. I know these projects will capture your heart as they have captured mine. 🙂
And for 2016:
I have more plans to share later, but for now, I will tell you that my goal for 2016 is to exceed 100,000 pageviews per month. Specifically in January, my goal is to exceed 50,000 pageviews per month.
That’s 50,000 pageviews. In January. This month.
How is it possible? It’s only possible with your help.
Every time you read my posts; every time you share on Facebook, pin on Pinterest, forward to your friends, tweet it out, or whatever, YOU help this community reach more people. Sometimes one repin or Facebook share can result in hundreds and even thousands of people coming to read a post.
So, thank you; and please, keep on sharing. 🙂 The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. In 2016, please keep on laboring with me in the harvest fields to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I truly can’t thank you enough. Stay tuned this week for the Dimensions of Destiny series, and many blessings to you in 2016.
