Day 20: All Things Are Possible To Him Who Believes

Welcome to Day 20 of 21 Days to Strengthen Your Faith! Today, we are looking at a word of encouragement from the Lord Jesus Himself: “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” If you’re being tempted to give up on your dream, this word of hope and strength is for you!

Then, we will pray through it with a brief series of bullet-point prayers. Each day, our goal is to strengthen our faith by gaining greater revelation about the importance of faith in our lives, and how faith WORKS.

As you strengthen your faith each day, your confidence in God will grow–and you will also begin feeling more brave and willing to go on the great adventures God has for you!

Today’s key Scripture is Mark 9:23, which says:

“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes’” (Mark 9:23 NKJV).

Friend, I want to encourage you today. This Scripture in Mark 9:23 is SO pertinent to where many of God’s sons and daughters are right now. Why? Because we are dreaming big dreams and finally believing for miracles … but it can be discouraging when obstacles arise, or when things take longer than we think they should.

And in that interim, sometimes we are tempted to give up. But you know what? Jesus wants you to know today that you should NOT give up. If you can just believe …

If you can hang on in faith, only believing …

As we talked about yesterday, in Day 19 of this series, from Mark 5:36:

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, ‘Do not be afraid; only believe’” (Mark 5:36 NKJV).

So do you have a crazy dream that you’ve been tempted to give up on? If so, do not quit!

Do not give up on your dream, no matter how crazy or improbable it may seem! God Himself has promised that, if you can believe, ALL things are possible to the one who believes.

That means, no matter who makes fun of your dream …

No matter what your bank balance says, and how unlikely things look based on that bank balance …

And even despite the fact that you’ve waited a long time and it seems like nothing is happening at all toward your dream …

If you can just keep believing, all things are possible to him (or her) who believes!

So keep on believing God, my friend. Hold onto your precious faith. And pray through these prayer points with me today:

• Tell the Father that you come before Him in Jesus’ name.
• Ask Holy Spirit to pray through you and for you with moanings and groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26-27).
• Thank Him for encouraging you in your dream today.
• Thank Him for the fact that all things are possible for the person who believes.
• Thank Him and praise Him for the fact that He is not limited by earthly circumstances of any kind. He is FULLY able to work a miracle for you, all by Himself and without your help!
• Praise Him for the fact that you don’t even have to be qualified for your miracle, other than by having faith in Him to help you!
• Confess your human weakness to God. Acknowledge that without Him you can do nothing; you can’t even believe Him without His help.
• But, thank Him that He has given you a measure of faith.
• Ask Him to strengthen your faith today.
• Ask the Lord to also help you put in the effort it takes to strengthen your own faith.
• Ask Him to make His grace sufficient for you today, and for His strength to be made perfect in your weakness.
• Pray that the Lord will help you believe in Him, and in His Word, in everything today!
• Thank Him that there is hope in Him for your dream.
• Ask Him to do those things in your life that eye has not seen, nor ear heard, that have not entered into the heart of man–but which GOD has revealed to you by His Spirit. (These things God has put in your heart by His Spirit are your dreams, but they were originally His dreams first!)
• Ask Him to show you progress and signs of land toward your dream today.
• Pray that He would take all the “quit” out of you, and that you would remain stalwart in believing faith from now on.
• Thank Him for making you a believing believer, and give Him all the praise!

Beloved, if you can believe, all things are possible to the one who believes.

Stand firm in faith today! Even if you have to pray through the promises God has made you for hours on end, stand firm in faith! Strengthen yourself in the Lord on purpose, and God will come through for you even if it takes time!
