Prophetic Word: “I Am Growing You In Your Rest,” Says the Lord

This morning, I asked the Lord what He had to say and I immediately heard Him say: “I am growing you in your rest!”
My thoughts and prayers had been directed toward a different area, so I was surprised by this change of topic. However, I immediately sensed excitement in the Spirit.

I asked the Lord to tell me more, and this is what He said:
“You are growing and growing and struggling to grow. The struggle is what makes you tired sometimes, but the struggle is also growing you even when you do not know it.
It is difficult to handle more and more responsibility. It is challenging to be entrusted with more, as a steward. But you are doing a good job! I am proud of you!
I know your heart, and I see that your heart desires to honor Me in ways your body can’t even keep up with right now. That’s okay. Man looks on the outside appearance, but I weigh the heart.
I know about the messes that weigh you down. I know about the frustrations in your heart. But what you don’t see–and I do–is that I AM PROUD OF YOU!
I am proud of you:
I am proud of the way you are seeking Me. I am proud of the way you are getting organized. I am proud of the way you are believing Me in the face of fierce opposition. When all seems like it is against you, you are still standing!
My child, I am also proud of how you are trusting yourself, and trusting the wisdom you have in Me. You are doing your due diligence and making wise decisions. You are putting off the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–and you are making progress!
You really are growing in Me, even when it doesn’t feel like it to you.
Oh beloved, My joy and crown, how I love you! How I long for you! You don’t realize how much I love you or how proud of you I am, but I am rewarding you on the inside and on the outside, for you have been diligently seeking Me.
As you have sought Me diligently, you have been resting according to My Word.

I know it has been hard. I know rest does not come easy for you. I see your frustration at the end of a day of rest, for you feel like you are being lazy and like you ought to get something done.
You see the messes you yearn to take care of and you feel frustration when you do not have the energy or capacity to handle them.
But, My beloved, what you do not see is Me in all My fullness:
You are not seeing the enormous width to which I am growing your shoulders in the spirit realm, for I am making you stronger than you could ever imagine.
You do not see how faithful you have been over the long haul, but I see it and rejoice.
You do not see the pleasure and privilege of all the increased weight you are carrying, for you have not yet learned to cast these things on Me in their entirety–but the very fact that I have allowed you to walk at this level is very telling.
I trust you, My child! I trust you!
Oh, receive the healing of My words. You are trying so hard, but I am growing you in your rest! I know it is hard to see it from day to day, but I really am growing you–and you shall see the results soon!
Look back in time even a few weeks. Have I not blessed you with more than you could ask or think? Have I not used you? Have I not whispered to you in the darkness: ‘Peace, be still’?
I love you so much. I am with you, and I am growing you.
The absolute best place for you to grow is in your rest. I mean that doubly; I need you to grow in your ability to rest, but also I am saying that you grow the most when you are resting!
My child, don’t hesitate to rest. Don’t undermine the value of what I am doing in the stillness of the secret place. In the secret place, people don’t see you, but everything happens in the secret place. And that secret place is a place worth cultivating with Me.

Thank You, Abba Father! Please help us all to rest and rest better.
Beloved friend, do you need to get better at resting, so Papa God can grow you?

“Father God, I come to You in Jesus’ name. Thank You for this word today.
Father, I choose today to rest in You. Please help me learn to rest. Help me to embrace Your rest; to revel in it; and somehow, supernaturally, still to get done what You want me to get done.
Thank You, Father God. I love You. Thank You for loving me too. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”

Thank you, for the words of encouragement from my Daddy! I love God, the Trinity and every thing he has to offer me, so I can better my life in him. The part that got me was when he said I’m growing you in your rest. That was powerful to me. Because no one knows how much I feel within myself but I know God does.
