Welcome to our FREE article series, 21 Days to Strengthen Your Faith!
In this series, we will examine one short Scripture passage each day. Then, we will pray through it with a brief series of bullet-point prayers. Each day, our goal is to strengthen our faith by gaining greater revelation about the importance of faith in our lives, and how faith WORKS.
As you strengthen your faith each day, your confidence in God will grow–and you will also begin feeling more brave and willing to go on the great adventures God has for you!

First, watch this word of encouragement for Day 1:
Next, let’s look at today’s key Scripture passage about faith.
For Day 1, our Scripture passage is Galatians 3:5, which says:
“Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” (Galatians 3:5 NKJV).

Friend, everything God does for you, He does through your faith.
He saved you by faith:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 3:8-9 NKJV).
And it was your faith in Jesus that made it possible for God to fill you with His Spirit. Not only that, but everything God does for you is by your faith. All of His works are done in you and for you when you believe.
As it says in Hebrews 11:6:
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV).
So what do you need God to do in you and for you today?
No matter what you need, you’ll have to have faith to obtain it. James 1:6-8 tells us that the person who doubts won’t receive ANYTHING from the Lord:
“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways” (James 1:6-8 NKJV).
As you walk through the journey of life, getting to know God better every day and going after all that He has for you, you’ll have to be acutely aware of the status of your faith at all times. When your faith is low, you’ll have to build it up. And that’s what this article series, 21 Days to Strengthen Your Faith, is all about!
So let’s pray today and ask the Lord to increase our awareness of the importance of faith.
Ask the Lord to help you strengthen your faith as you pray through the following bullet points. Be sure to add your own words, so that each prayer comes from the depths of your own heart.
Pray as follows:
- Thank the Lord for saving you by faith.
- Thank Him for giving you His Holy Spirit to live inside you by your faith in Jesus.
- Thank Him for His work in your heart, which is miraculous indeed.
- Thank Him for several of the most touching ways He has helped you lately, even if those things are as simple as waking you up and giving you air to breathe!
- Praise Him for His goodness and faithfulness to you.
- Acknowledge to the Lord that His Word says that he who comes to Him must believe that He exists, and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
- Acknowledge to Him that you need some help in your faith. (We all do!)
- Ask Him to help you believe in Him, and to believe that He is a rewarder.
- Ask Him to fill you with His Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and to give you deep, gut-level, heartfelt revelation about how important faith is to God.
- Pray that the Lord would convict you of any doubt or unbelief in your life.
- Confess and repent for any doubt or unbelief that He shows you. Ask Him to forgive you for doubt and unbelief, and to fill you with His Holy Spirit where those things were.
- Ask Jesus to help you transform and condition your mind to believe Him, and to believe His Word.
- Thank Him for giving to all men a measure of faith (see Romans 12:3); that means you DO have faith inside you.
- Ask Him to help you put all your trust in Him by faith, and not try to get by using your works.
- Ask Him to help you hear His on-time words that His Holy Spirit is speaking to you every day, for faith comes by hearing Him speak directly to you.
- Thank Him that His Word is true, and it abides forever!
Friend, it takes effort to strengthen your faith.
But, there’s good news: the effort is easy. You simply have to choose every day to believe God. Despite what circumstances say around you, it is by FAITH, not by works, that everything good happens in your life–and by FAITH we draw near to God!
Pray about your faith all day long today, and enjoy this journey of 21 Days to Strengthen Your Faith!
