Hey beloveds,
I wanted to provide you with an update on what the Lord did in 2018. There’s so much to share; and although you already know some of it, please read it all and rejoice with me!

Also, I have a couple of questions for you about events we’re considering going forward, and I’d love to hear your input.

First, 2018 was one of the most challenging years I’ve ever had.

Our son was born at the end of December 2017, so I was caring for a newborn (never having had any experience with babies before) as well as working. We didn’t have much in the way of help or support with the baby all year. Additionally, he had major health problems for the first several months, with 2 hospitalizations this last summer as well (after those first problems were resolved). And then, of course, I had a c-section delivery, and the incision did not heal for a long time. (It still gives me pain even now.)

I consider this ministry to be my full-time job, and I work at it hard. I don’t just slack off and eat pizza in front of the TV all day; I ordinarily work during the day, night, early morning, late nights, and weekends. And I take it really seriously.

But, you can imagine how that went with having a new baby, and with all of the issues I mentioned above.

Hint: It didn’t go well.

I spent a lot of time the first few months crying. It was one of the most stressful times I have been through.

But you know what? I learned a lot.

I got to know the Lord last year in a way that I didn’t know Him before. It was a baptism by fire, and not one I wanted, either. Nevertheless, I learned that He is the God of tangible grace, and that His grace to help in time of need is real:

• He was with me when I sat on my floor and bawled crying, holding a screaming newborn who wouldn’t stop crying for hours on end.
• He was with me when I thought we were losing our baby on the way to the hospital.
• He was with me every day when the stress of my work in this ministry plus caring for the baby threatened to do me in.

I know many of you all have already learned these things through this tough parenting journey, but I hadn’t. I have never been here before; it’s all new for me.

And honestly, I have struggled this year.

Not gonna lie. The Lord has really blessed us, and I’m so thankful for all of that. But I’m just trying to be transparent here, in the hopes that maybe my story will help someone else. It’s been hard.

It’s been hard because I prayed and begged God to send me help, and He didn’t … except for His own help.

It’s been hard because, each day, I had to swallow my reluctance and face the fact that it must be the will of God for me to rely strictly upon His grace that day. Most days, I knew no one was going to show up; no friends were going to help; and no one was going to call.

It’s been hard because I didn’t want to rely on His grace. I wanted help and rest and someone around, and there has been very little of any of those things until the last 3 weeks.

It’s been hard because I had to learn in a whole new way that “God’s grace is sufficient for me” is real.

Sometimes I’ve been so discouraged or stressed out that I didn’t even want to get out of bed or take a shower. The stress came from baby + job, but the discouragement came from having no help and having to face that somehow God expects me to walk in victory anyway. Honestly, some days, I preferred to throw a pity party for myself–or, rather, attend the pity party the devil was throwing for me.

Just being real. Can anybody identify?

The first few months, I gave in to the stress and discouragement.

I was a basketcase. Nursing a cluster-feeding baby for hours and hours every day (sometimes over 12 hours a day), staying home alone with a baby who refused to sleep, not knowing how to be a parent, and working too (often from my phone held over a nursing baby, or from my laptop sitting next to me while he nursed).

But somewhere during the summer, I finally realized that I was going to have to pick myself up and figure out a way to live my new life as a parent with victory, even if help or relief never showed up. I had a sneaking suspicion that God was not going to send other people to help me until I did this; that somehow, this suffering and struggle was His way of walking me through the valley of the shadow of death again.

It was really hard at first.

Some days, I would eke out a blog post and put the baby in his playpen while I showered … but I called that a successful day.

Some days, I had to stand in one spot and say over and over, “God’s grace is sufficient for me, for His strength is made perfect in my weakness” just in order to move my feet and go into the next room. But I said it, and I repeated it until I believed it. And I moved on to the next activity and called that a successful day.

And some days, I’ve just loaded the baby in the car in the hopes that he would sleep. (He has had a tough time learning to sleep on his own.) Then, when he finally did, I’d drive home and sit in the car in the driveway, using our wi-fi and my laptop to try and work. But being able to work in peace like that was a victory, so I called those days successful too.

It hasn’t all been bad, but it has taken me a really long time to start facing the truth that God’s grace was sufficient for me …

… because I didn’t want God’s grace to be sufficient, you see.

Again, I’m just being real.

I didn’t want to rely on God alone. I wanted things to go back to the way they used to be, with all the help and company and friends and full schedule and mobility and sleep I used to have–but with a cute little bundle of joy included as well. And that’s simply not going to happen.

So I have been learning because God forced me to learn.

It was a hard year, but a fruitful kind of hard (looking back). I could feel myself changing throughout the process, even when I didn’t want to admit it. Somewhere in there, I really did grow:

• I forgot how to cry over my situation.
• I began believing God instead of crying, and I lost the temptation to doubt Him.
• The Lord burned a lot of feeling sorry for myself off me.
• Somewhere in there, I became stronger than I knew was possible to be. The Lord put steel in my spine.

Honestly, it’s been dreadful. But I can see the benefits of this whole time period already. I can see how the Lord has been working in my heart and breaking stuff off me. And even though much of this time has been miserable, I’m so thankful. I’m walking in victory every day now, even when things are hard. Only God could have done that.

And we do have a darling bundle of joy, and I’m so thankful for him.

Our son is doing so well. Thank you all so much for your prayers for him and for us. He is getting so big; he took his first steps a few weeks ago, and now he’s walking all over the house! He’s even trying to run. He’s growing and changing every day. He loves books and pens and papers and stickers, and he wants you to read his favorite book to him like three times in a row. He’s such a lovely baby. We are so in love with him.

But during all these things, the Lord has moved so powerfully over the last year.

I am in awe of how Father God so beautifully orchestrates things over time. Even though I felt like a total failure so much last year, the Lord still used everything we did get done–and He added more to our efforts besides. It was the most impactful year we have had so far.

Here are a few of the highlights:

• We saw about 60 people attend September’s inner healing retreat.
• Dozens of people received scholarships for that inner healing retreat (paid for by this ministry through your donations, webinar tickets, and so on) to attend. And nearly every person told me their lives had been changed.
• We discipled people through this blog day in and day out, with a total of 2,042,084 pageviews for the year. Yes, that’s over two million times we touched people’s lives for Jesus using this website alone.
• We reached 747,229 individual people using this website alone.
• We launched OverNotUnder.com, which is our website about money, wealth, motivation, and productivity.
• We got 47 blog posts up on OverNotUnder.
• We saw 43,780 pageviews on OverNotUnder for the year, which is great considering the fact that I didn’t post on that blog very much.
• I did wrote dozens and dozens of new teaching posts and prophetic words for this blog. We now have 1,081 posts up on this blog.
• We had articles published on iBelieve, Spirit Fuel, and The Elijah List a number of times throughout the year. These posts help us reach over a million additional individuals outside our own community.
• We took a team of pastors and ministers to preach and teach in Ireland in November at our Dublin prophetic equipping intensive.
• We ministered to people through TEN webinars–some free, some paid. (The paid webinars funded much of the ministry you see in this list.)
• We released a brand-new e-book, 15 Prayers for Financial Increase, on OverNotUnder.com (free for people who sign up for free email updates on that site).
• We released 5 books in printed format for people who need/prefer written material:
  • Prayers and Prophecies for Financial Increase (which is about twice as big as the free ebook we give away on OverNotUnder);
  • my original Bible study on the book of Ruth;
  • Ministry of the Pioneer;
  • Our own edition of E.M. Bounds’ Power through Prayer; and
  • The Presence Seeker’s Guide to Inner Healing.
• We sowed seeds of honor or provision into many pastors who needed financial help, ministry help, or help with spiritual/emotional health.
  • I’m not going to go into detail on this, because each individual situation is private. But, just know that this thing about being an agent of restoration is very real to me–and we carry it out with shoe leather every single day. Every dollar that comes in from you all goes to ministry, and much of it heals and restores hurting and wounded people.
• We mentored several pastors to help them build websites that would bless their ministries.
• We were approved to place Bible reading plans on YouVersion (with over 3 million users worldwide), and we uploaded our first plan and got it approved in 2018. (Then they released it on January 4, 2019.)
• We took on a small part of sponsoring two missionaries who work with unreached people groups. (I’d like to expand our support of those missionaries this year, as the Lord provides.)
• We provided a whole vehicle-trunk-full of beautiful study Bibles and financial education books to a local jail ministry. We haven’t continued working with them simply because the opportunity has not arisen (we have to go through a security-certification course in order to actually enter the jail, and there have been scheduling issues); but we hope to help them more in the future.
• We came alongside a student pastor and provided discipleship tools for their youth group.
• I made over 600 individual edits to this site–some of them to multiple places–to make it run faster and appear in more Google search results.

The Lord did so much, but His most important work is seen in the lives He has changed.

Every single day, I receive testimonies about how people are seeing breakthrough as a result of reading our websites, listening to our e-classes, reading our books, etc. I hear from:

• Regular people.
• Moms and dads.
• Older people and younger people.
• Ministers and pastors and pastors’ wives.
• People who up-and-out and people who are down-and-out.

You name it, God is bringing them to us. It’s not because of us, though; it’s because of the Word. God’s Word is our passion, and His Word is restorative. If you will receive His Word into your heart and act on it, as so many people are, it will change your life. HE will change your life.

So God is moving–and YOU are His hands and feet.

We are praying specifically about bringing live workshops to major population centers to teach dreams and visions, prophetic intensives, or inner healing.

We are also praying about an inner healing retreat in the UK, due to the volume of readers we have in the UK. (Shout-out to all my UK friends. High-fives right here … I love you all!) These are all topics that are very difficult to cover via webinar; you really need to do them in person for the best results.

It’s been a long time since I’ve provided updates on the ministry, me, and my little baby, so here goes.

First, let me say that I really appreciate the fact that you are reading this update.

So, thank you in advance for doing so. It means a lot to me when people care about the ministry and team who makes this ministry happen, in addition to just caring about what the newest prophetic word the Lord has given us is, etc.

Many people only read if there’s something in it for them, and I’m not mad at them for that. But, the fact that you care enough to read about what’s going on and how we’re doing says that you care about us, too; and that means a TON to me. Thank you.

Secondly, I want to thank you for everything you are doing to support this ministry.

You in this community help us every day in so many ways, including but not limited to:

• You pray for us;
• You donate and partner with us financially;
• You share posts on social media;
• You send in testimonies.

You all do so much, and I really appreciate you. THANK YOU.

Next, I want you to know that what you do MATTERS.

All of the things I will share below are fruit that YOU are helping to bring in for the Kingdom. Lives are being changed every single day because of what YOU do. Without your help, I may have had to give up this work years ago. It was too much for me to try doing it alone and working my corporate job. It was destroying my health and I had gotten to the point where I couldn’t sustain it anymore.

But then, Jesus intervened … and He did it through you.

YOU all came alongside us and made it possible for me to do the work of this ministry full-time, and together we are getting results. All praise to the King of Kings, but I want to give honor where honor is due and thank you too, because you are being His hands and feet.

Here are the results that brighten YOUR crown, just from the last two months:

• In August, this site alone had 192,016 pageviews.
• In September, this site alone had 182,005 pageviews.
• In August, 85,112 individual people visited this site for spiritual help.
• In September, 81,629 individual people visited this site for spiritual help.
• In September, we traveled to Kingsport, Tennessee to preach at the STRAWS “Put On Your Crown” conference.
• In September, we had about 60 people attending the Rosh Hashanah Inner Healing and Vision-Getting Retreat. Nearly every person told me they were absolutely transformed as a result of the retreat.
• At that retreat, I taught through the formal inner healing process. We prayed corporate prayers of deliverance together for every different area of inner healing. It was powerful!
• Every attendee at that retreat had a personal prophetic ministry appointment with our prophetic teams. The testimonies that came from those sessions were amazing! I didn’t get to sit in on any sessions myself, but I saw people coming out of them with tears in their eyes and huge smiles on their faces. Praise God!
• One salvation: one precious person gave her life to Jesus for the very first time at the retreat. Praise God!
• We baptized 34 people in water at the inner healing retreat. Glory be to God!
• The retreat cost many thousands of dollars more than the registration fees, so that means you all funded the retreat through partnerships, product purchases, webinar attendance, and donations. This makes me want to cry. It was a Daniel 11:32 great exploit for this community to come together like it did and fund such a huge work. THANK YOU.
• We blessed some ministers in September who needed time and space alone with the Lord.
• We were able to pay local musicians for leading worship at the retreat, some of which are full-time worship-leader missionaries, so we were able to help sow into their worship and evangelism ministries by doing so.
• In August and September, we walked dozens of people through various aspects of the deliverance/inner healing process through the Healing from Mother Wounds webinar and through the Breaking Soul Ties, Word Curses, and Inner Vows webinar.
• In September, we taught 28 people plus the 60 from the retreat about how God wants us to do business in order to prosper (through the Entrepreneurship Mandate webinar).
• In August, we reached over 300,000 people worldwide with this prophetic word newly posted to The Elijah List.
• We released our first ever print books in the last couple of months:
  • Prayers and Prophecies for Financial Increase;
  • The Presence Seeker’s Guide to Inner Healing;
  • E.M. Bounds’ Power through Prayer;
  • Ruth: A Study of Favor, Redemption, and Restoration; and
  • The Ministry of the Pioneer.
• We released the free Presence Seeker’s Inner Healing Checklist, so people can purposefully walk through the formal deliverance process that every Christian should walk through.
• In September, I also began teaching a small group on Sunday nights for my local church. We are studying Mark Batterson’s book The Grave Robber, and it’s fantastic. This group will last about three months.
• In September, I also taught through the spiritual gifts one Sunday morning at my local church (to a class of new members).
• I wrote an original spiritual gifts inventory test in preparation for that class, and I will be releasing the inventory to all blog readers soon. 🙂 It’s a questionnaire you can take to learn what your spiritual gifts are! I believe it will be a blessing to you.

In August, we also heard the Lord call us to take a team of pastors and missionaries to Ireland. So, we are going next month. Papa has been all over this trip, getting us great deals on airfare (relatively speaking), setting our schedule, and bringing unity to our team. I’ll be sharing more about that over the next few weeks.

At the end of September, my husband and I attended a blogging conference and took four days of classes about how to reach more people using video, audio, and this blog. We learned a lot and I can’t wait to implement the strategies we learned!

Beloved, Papa God has blessed us so much by bringing us these results to lay at the feet of Jesus. I’m so thankful and grateful and overwhelmed, honestly, by it all. But I want you to know about these things because I promised you I would update you (please forgive my lateness for the August update)–and because I want you to know that we are doing our best to steward well everything you do to help us.

And now for the personal update:

Beloved, my spirit is roaring, and my mind is going a million miles an hour with ideas and plans and downloads from Father. But my body is tired. Very tired.

I was fine through the retreat, and even for about a week after the retreat. But a week or so after the retreat, I crashed. And although I have been getting better and better for the last week or so, I’m still very tired.

Would you pray for me?

Here’s what I’d love for you to join me in prayer about:

• Please pray for my son to get good rest. He has been getting up every 1.5-3 hours throughout the night, usually about 3 wake-ups per night, wanting all the things babies want. Each time, he keeps me up anywhere from 20 minutes to 3 hours. (He’s not always awake the entire time; sometimes he falls asleep in my arms but then cries if I put him down again.) This is obviously exhausting for me, and I need help from the Lord. Please pray for Elijah to have perfect peace and shalom–nothing missing, nothing broken–including in his sleep schedule at night.
• Please pray that Father would give me grace each day to learn how to handle being a mommy to an infant, plus being a wife, plus taking care of a household, plus running this ministry. Pray that He would order my steps in His Word each day.
• Please pray for me to have the courage and anointing to cook healthy food and make healthy choices. I have been doing so much better with this, but it’s a challenge and I need prayer for physical strength and health.
• I’ll be walking a half-marathon in December. This is my goal and I’m already signed up for it. Having this goal inspires me to walk and prepare. Please pray that I’ll have strength and courage to keep preparing and to complete the half-marathon walk. 🙂
• Please continue to pray for my c-section to heal. The incision is healed now and I can feel the nerves coming back to life. It doesn’t hurt as much as it used to, but it does still hurt when I exert myself. I know it takes about a year to heal, but I’d still appreciate your prayers in this area.
• Please pray for Father to send us a new vehicle. Our 2000-model Toyota Solara needs replacing pretty badly. It’s still running, though, and we’re going to keep driving it by the grace of God until we can pay cash for another vehicle. I’d like a small SUV to replace it, as I feel safer in an SUV and it’s safer for Elijah too.

And for the ministry:

• Please pray for Father to send us to the right places at the right time.
• Pray for our Ireland mission trip:
  • for our safety and that of our team;
  • for us to walk perfectly in God’s divine appointments every moment of every day;
  • for it to be the most fruitful ministry of our lives;
  • for us to teach and preach the Word with power;
  • for open hearts and listening ears for all those who will be attending our meetings;
  • for perfect health and strength for our team, some of which are in their senior years; and
  • for all the logistics to go perfectly.
• Please pray that we would know what to say “yes” to and what to say “no” to.
• Please pray for our finances. There is so much work to do, and most of it costs money. Please continue to pray for increase in partnerships, donations, and product sales to fund everything we do.
• Pray for Prophetic Bible SuperCamp, that every person Father wants to attend would attend–and that they would find the best deals for transportation from wherever they are!

And now for the baby update:

Y’all, Elijah is doing so well. Despite the frequent waking up at night, he is doing awesome. We did find out what was causing his bouts of sickness (he was hospitalized twice in recent months), and it’s something we should be able to take care of to prevent further issues.

He is growing like a weed. He’s tall; he’s 9.5 months old and he wears 18-month-size clothing. 🙂 He can pull up by himself, roll all over the place, and he is starting to crawl. (He can already walk if you hold his hands or ribcage, but we aren’t encouraging that because he needs to crawl first.) He LOVES to stand up and walk, actually. 🙂

Elijah has a lot to say, and he doesn’t hesitate to say it. He says words like “mama” and “dada” and “nana,” but the rest of his words so far are “bababababababababa” and things like that. But he does say a lot! It’s very cute.

He is also learning how to play independently with blocks or other toys. That just happened about one week ago! And what a blessing it is! It’s a big relief to me that he is happy to sit down for a few minutes at a time and play. That lets me cook food, pick up some things in the room where we are, or work for a few minutes here and there without stress, before he wants mama again. I’m SO grateful for this progress!

And may I say, he is CUTE. He’s the cutest thing ever. I’m trying to keep photos of him off public spaces, so I’m not sharing photos at this time, but all of you who attended the retreat saw my boy. And I may be biased when I say this, but I still think he’s the cutest baby on the planet. 🙂 I tell him this often, and give him plenty of hugs and kisses. 🙂

We couldn’t do any of this without you. You are the hands and feet of Jesus, making His praise known on the earth using media as our communication method. It’s all Him, but He uses all of us. It truly takes a village.

Hey everybody,

I want to tell you what God did at the inner healing retreat, but I still feel at a loss for words about it!

I will say that it was incredible. It was fantastic. I don’t have a paradigm to easily describe what Father did for all the attendees (and even for the ministry team and myself), but I’ll try.

I’m also interspersing testimonies throughout this report, so PLEASE read the testimonies.

The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. What someone else testifies about, God will do in YOUR life if you’ll receive the testimony.

This photo does not show all of our attendees, but it does show most of us! It was an unbelievably-awesome time in the Lord!

Read this testimony:

“A few days before the retreat, I felt the Lord ask me, “[Daughter], do I heal the brokenhearted or not?”

My immediate answer was in the affirmative, but I thought of the pain in my heart I had had so long. Prayer, fasting, and being with God’s people alleviated it, but it never went away.

I came to the retreat very wounded. God stores our tears in a bottle, but I wouldn’t be surprised if mine filled a swimming pool. I searched my heart for unforgiveness. I repented of some things. I kept pressing in.

Jamie spoke the Father’s blessing over us and in the spirit, I saw something black fly out from deep in my heart. I thought it left then, but when the shofar blew, Holy Spirit said to me, “Now it’s gone.”

The next day, Jamie was preaching about soul ties. I thought I had cut off all my soul ties already, but Holy Spirit showed me I still had soul ties with my brothers who molested me.

I thought of how all my life I had thoughts (that sounded like things my brothers would say) inside me that told me I was fat and nothing I did was good enough, and even my core self was inferior and lacking. I devoured the Word and I knew what God said about me was true, yet those thoughts would never completely leave even when I declared God’s Word and fasted and prayed.

At the retreat, I broke that soul tie. Instantly I felt lighter and free. I was finally free from that accusing voice. I was free from feeling condemned because I thought I hadn’t forgiven people.

I am so grateful this retreat gave me a key to open a door to living a life without that soul tie any more. I know Jamie gave this retreat everything she had and I love her for that sacrifice she made.”

Jamie’s note: The sister who shared the testimony above cried buckets of tears the first two days of the retreat. But after the Lord showed her the key and freed her, she glowed and smiled. Her face became bright again. GLORY TO GOD!

Holy Spirit sat down on this retreat in POWER.

People were radically transformed. People who came in depressed, discouraged, suicidal, and bound told me that they were leaving absolutely free. They said they felt light and airy afterward. They said they felt JOY again, the same joy they felt when they first got saved.

People whose eyes were dark and sad when they arrived went out with LIGHT just pouring from their faces. Their eyes became bright and happy, and it was a visible change.

Read this testimony:

“Dear Jamie and team,

Wow! I want to thank each and every one of you for this heaven-sent retreat. The teaching came forth with great power. The intecessors flowed like angels. The shofar, worship, everything flowed in unity and was supernatural. Even my cabin-mates were God appointed.

I now feel as if light is shining inside. I am more stable in Christ. After baptism, I feel as if my spiritual eyes were opened. I also recieved healing from tremors by faith after three of your angel intercessors prayed for me (Janis, Jo Ann and Madaline).

I know I will be discovering more about the retreat’s impact in the days ahead.

I am impressed with the loving care and attention given to us and how much you all poured out – until the very last minute there you were.

There is JOY in Heaven when one lost person gives their heart to Jesus! A precious sister gave her heart to the Lord for the first time at this retreat, and she experienced immediate change in her heart, emotions, and countenance! We saw immediate evidence of the change in her as well. Praise God!

JESUS saves! He heals! He delivers! He raises you up to walk in newness of life by His Spirit … and it’s easy!

People lining up to be baptized. No, we did not hit anyone with canoe paddles! People used them to keep their footing while walking in the lake. 34 people followed the Lord in baptism, to the glory of God!

34 people also followed the Lord in baptism by immersion.

A pastor friend who was attending with his wife helped with the baptizing. Thank God for that; I would have been in a pickle without his help! I had never done baptisms before. But God moved and we had a great time! 34 people followed the Lord in baptism, and a wife even baptized her husband! Glory to God!

Every attendee also had a personal prophetic appointment with our ministry team of prophets.

Beloved, if you’ve never sat with a team to receive personal prophecy, you MUST. Personal prophecy is life-changing. And every person had an appointment of 10 minutes’ duration (some longer, if no one was waiting).

During the appointments, the person comes and sits with a team who doesn’t know anything about them. The team just asks the Lord for a word. And then the Lord gives visions, encouraging words, words of knowledge, words of wisdom, etc for that person–all without the team knowing a thing about the person to whom they are prophesying.

The first day, I was greeting people and checking them in while the prophetic teams did personal appointments. I consistently saw people come out of those appointments with big smiles and happy tears. God touched them radically.

“Ahh, where to begin …

I knew we were supposed to be on this retreat the moment it was offered. We are beyond blessed to have been able to go. It was worth every sacrifice to be obedient to the Lord.

We’ve had some prior experience in inner healing, and were currently dealing with issues that needed to be resolved. I knew this was an appointment with God, on His calendar.

My personal experience during the prophetic appointment was almost unbelievable. I KNEW beyond anything I’ve EVER experienced that these ministers were hearing God for me. They spoke into my life and brought the pieces of my shattered heart back. It was specific and personal; only God knew some of the prayers they spoke about!

Another experience was learning that church wounds are actually mother wounds. This retreat helped me unlock some areas in my heart and are allowing God in to heal me.

Then, there were the class sessions–the meat of the whole event.

I don’t have a final count on class sessions, but we started Sunday afternoon and finished Wednesday at noon. It was intense. During the teaching, we healed from and broke the following things off our lives:

• Unforgiveness;
• Soul ties;
• Generational sins;
• Performance-based acceptance;
• Word curses;
• The spirit of poverty;
• Mother wounds;
• Father wounds;
• Church wounds;
• The aftermath of abortion;
• Conditional love;
• Cleansing and healing from occult involvement;
• Breaking masonic curses off everyone’s generational bloodline;
• Healing from unholy sexual encounters;
• And so, so much more.

We also ministered resurrection for dead and forgotten dreams. We talked about pursuing your calling. And dozens of people surrendered their lives to day-and-night prayer, to become intercessors. We also saw dozens of people surrender to put their hands to the Gospel plow and pour out their all for the Great Commission.

Every class session was powerful. You could feel the presence of the Lord in such weighty splendor.

Joy returned. People laughed and tears flowed too. People knelt and wept. They laid on their faces before the Lord. Bodies were strewn everywhere as people worshipped and received from the living God.

It was a wonderful four days. 🙂

Just wanted to share what Holy Spirit showed me when we were renouncing inner vows.

First, you need to know I grew up Catholic, which means we ate fish on Fridays–fish sticks to be exact. “Yuck” is all I am saying.

Secondly, I have been wondering a lot about why I have never been able to lead anyone to the Lord–no opportunities presented to even attempt.

This morning (Wednesday) when you shared the prophetic word in Ezekiel, you said that the fish in the river were souls. A light bulb went off in my head. I was like, “Huh? The fish in the river are souls?” I pondered it in my heart.

When you were talking about inner vows, and we were to write out our list, fish was the first thing on my list. My vow was that I would never eat fish again. I hate fish. I didn’t want anything to do with fish. Holy Spirit showed me that these fish represented souls (Ezekiel teaching) and that I hated those souls and I didn’t want anything to do with those souls. WOW is what I said.

I have been praying the last year for God to show me how to love people the way He does, but I had a fish-hating inner vow that a must be dealt with.

As of this morning, the fish hating inner vow is dealt with. Thank you for your obedience. 🙂 I can now pray in confidence, asking God to show me how to love people the way He does. I can’t wait to see what happens!”

“I just shared the powerful testimony of [one of our ministers] with my sister in Christ. She was still suffering from pain that she was not aware of from an abortion. When I started to share the testimony she started crying. It was God that told me to tell her, because I had forgot being caught up in all the excitement of telling her about my healing and deliverance.

I took her through the meaning of the clap and severed the ties of guilt and shame and she said she felt the release. She said it felt like from the top of her head that it all just peeled away. HALLELUJAH!!! I put my toes in the water.

I also came back and help set my mother free from the spirit of control and manipulation. She said she was praying and asking God this morning to set her free. When I started telling her about our wonderful time, she said God knew you had to go because I needed the deliverance. I was thinking this morning that she should have been there.

Beloveds, God did all these things–and He used YOU together with us as His hands and feet to do them.

Really quickly, here’s the partner update:

May was a quieter month than some. I spent quite a bit of time in intercession for our community rather than trying to write a new post quite as often. Also, I helped teach a 6-week small group during April and May. It was about Psalm 23, and it was such a blessing.

I also was able to mentor five ministers who are building online ministries, which was a significant time investment.

It’s a new season, and I’m excited about it! Wanna know why?

The enemy is trying to get me to quit the ministry, crawl into bed, cover my head, and cry. BUT GOD is telling me to recalibrate, reduce unnecessary work on my plate personally, and He’ll set me up for so much more future effectiveness so we can reach more people for Him together.

Go, JESUS!

I’m going to tell you all about this today, and humbly ask for your prayers–and your help, if you are not already helping.

First, a huge ministry update:

April was a huge month in which God did so much. I am so thankful to be able to bring you this report about what all happened!

In April, Holy Spirit led us to make some huge contributions to ministers and hurting people. Specifically:

• We purchased $576.36 of materials for a much-needed improvement at a local church. This started and finished the project.
• We donated $1,000 to a pastor’s ministry in financial need.
• We spent many of my work hours–volunteer labor worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars, plus about $80 on supplies–to help THREE local pastors take their ministries online. One pastor has successfully launched and two more will be launching within the next couple of months.
• We donated $500 to a church in need.

Hundreds of dollars worth of Bibles and personal finance books for the prisoners, thanks to YOUR generous donations!

We also donated books and Bibles to a local jail ministry that we vetted and believe is good ground. This is a partnership that the Lord opened for us a couple of months ago, and I am SO excited about it! Here’s what this ministry provided:

• 10 new copies of Dave Ramsey’s book The Total Money Makeover (cost of $158.30) to be given to prisoners at the lieutenant’s discretion;
• 8 (EIGHT!!!!!) brand-new, just-released Archeology Study Bibles with soft, leatherlike covers and all manner of study notes and cultural/archeological explanations of what the reader is reading about;
• 2 very nice study Bibles with pink-and-brown leather-like covers and lots of helpful notes inside; and
• 1 very nice journaling Bible.

The Bibles cost around $600 combined. They will be handled by the lieutenant at the jail, where she will hand them out to prisoners whom she personally knows will use them and value them.

Also, all the books and Bibles for the prisoners are brand-new, and they are all very nice Bibles that I would LOVE to use myself (if I were looking for a Bible). That is very important to me.

Why?

Because although all sorts of Bibles contain God’s Word, some Bibles look and feel so cheap that no one wants to touch them to read them. Also, all the Bibles are large print, so that they can be read without straining the eyes.

More of the Archeology Study Bible. Learning about the cultures of ancient times is a huge key to understanding the Bible.

Another reason it’s important to provide nice Bibles to people in need, not cheap-o ones, is that a gift is a reflection of what you think of the recipient. When you give someone a Bible that is nice, you communicate to them that they are WORTH a nice present–both to you AND to God.

On the other hand, when you give someone a Bible with a yucky cover, tiny print, and nothing to make it interesting outside the work of the Holy Spirit, they don’t value it. They don’t realize the value of what they’ve been given.

Would they realize it if they read it and converted? Sure! But they have to get there first. They have to be willing to touch the thing first. Giving prisoners a nice Bible, instead of a cheap-o one that feels yucky, is a good way to pique their interest.

There’s more than one way to approach evangelism.

It’s the GOODNESS of God that brings men to repentance, so we do our best to give good gifts like Father does.

We also have a book proposal that made it through two rounds of approvals at a traditional publishing house recently.

Please continue to pray that God will open doors with the right publisher, right place, right time, right contract, etc. 🙂

All of these things were in addition to the writing and maintaining of our online ministry with blog posts and more.

In April, we saw 168,560 pageviews on this blog alone. Those pageviews came from over 70,000 individual people. That’s 70,000 people we are serving with the good news of salvation and victory in Jesus Christ.

We also reached people in April through our outreaches on other media outlets, such as Spirit Fuel, The Elijah List, and our main social media channels–Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. Hundreds of thousands of people.

These things would not have been possible without you.

They simply wouldn’t. No way at all. You prayed, and God answered. You shared blog posts on social media to reach more people than I could alone. You also knew we had financial need, and God moved on your hearts; you gave, and we put the money to good use.

I give God all the praise for these things, and I honor Him as our Source. But, I do thank and honor you too, because YOU allowed yourselves to be Papa’s hands and feet to reach all these people.

And now for the personal stuff:

There will always be tough times in life, y’all. That’s not news to you and it’s not news to me. There will also be tough times in ministry. I LOVE doing the Lord’s work, but there’s no doubt it’s not easy. Nothing in the Kingdom that’s worthwhile is without its challenges.

Well, you know that the last few months have been a very trying time for me. And, that is still true.

It feels very overwhelming to run a global ministry while learning how to be a new mom to a (now) four-month-old baby too. Of course. And the enemy wants me to quit the ministry, crawl in my bed, cover my head, and cry … but I’m not gonna do it. I’ve been around the block too many times and come too far to look back. Whether things are miserable or wonderful, I’m all in with Jesus.

But I do feel that, right now, we’re at a crossroads where I have to recalibrate some things in order to move forward successfully and not impact my health.

The Lord is systematically having me re-boot all of my systems–everything about my life. And He has shown me that this will not only defeat the devil, but will actually catapult me into a whole new level of effectiveness for Him.

Among other things, that reboot looks like:

• Getting an assistant. I can’t run this ministry anymore by myself. This ministry has become bigger than me, and I can’t even tell you how many back-end tasks have to be done every day … many of which simply aren’t getting done, because I can’t do them. I need an assistant.
• Throwing away stuff from my house. We’re simplifying in every way possible.
• Getting a bookkeeper. I know how to do accounting, but I’m called to preach and teach, not do bookkeeping. I need to outsource the things I’m not called to do, just like the apostles did and Moses did. I need to focus on ministering to you, not updating ledgers.
• Getting an audio and video editor. I have audio sermons I can’t release because I can’t find the time to edit them. I have clips for video I can’t release because I don’t know how to edit video.

So. Here’s the thing:

Assistants cost money. Bookkeepers cost money. Outsourcing things costs money.

I don’t have the money yet. It’s not in the bank yet. But you know what else? My Father has the money. Every time we have stepped out in faith to expand our borders, Father has come up under us and provided the money.

Every time. In January, I had to hire a Pinterest administrator. I couldn’t reliably handle Pinterest anymore, because pins have to be pinned several times a day at specific times. With a newborn baby, it was just too much. Our blog was really suffering because of this, as Pinterest is one of our big sources of traffic.

So we hired an administrator. A pastor’s wife who would hear God about what to pin and when to pin it–and for whom the opportunity was a blessing. That has worked out PERFECTLY. She is a blessing to us and the ministry is a blessing to her, and she gets great results on Pinterest.

But when we hired her, honestly? I was terrified.

It costs $465 per 31-day month for Pinterest administration. This is a fair rate for what she is doing, and I’m not going to pay anyone less than fairly. But we didn’t have the $465. I was stepping out on faith to hire her. I had to conquer fear to do that. I had to conquer timidity and walk in faith instead. But you know what? Papa came up under us and has provided the money every month.

So that’s what I’m believing God to do now.

I can’t go on the way things have been. We’re at a crossroads and we have to re-calibrate. I’ll be a crying mess if I try to keep on the way things have been, and we all know it’s not God’s will for any of us to be a crying mess. 🙂

So we’re just going to make some changes, and those changes will set us up to reach way more people and do way more ministry than we ever could have without those changes.

Here’s what I need from you:

I need your help.

I need and humbly ask all of you who benefit from this ministry to intercede for us. Intercessors have never been more important to me than they are right now.

I also need all those of you whom the Lord has been prompting to support this ministry financially, to go ahead and do it.

A word about that:

Beloveds, I don’t make products for my health. I don’t make products because it’s fun, and I don’t make products because it’s easy. It’s neither fun nor easy to record teachings, make videos, and write books.

I DO make products because I am trying to replicate every way the Lord has brought me out of darkness into His wonderful light ON PAPER, or on video, or on audio.

I had NO ONE to help me learn most of this stuff. Yes, I went to classes and seminars. I studied and read books. Those things are important and so helpful.

But, most of what I have learned, I learned by sitting on my floor with my Bible and my journal, praying and reading and listening to Holy Spirit.

THAT journey is what I have replicated and transcribed into the products I have for sale on our Gumroad store. THAT journey. Those keys to victory. THAT life-transforming path to freedom.

For that reason, if there’s even one single product on our Gumroad store that you haven’t read/watched/listened to yet, you need to get it and read it, watch it, or listen to it. Every product, every person. This is serious, folks. If you want to go on with God, you’ve got to do the work to grow and learn and get yourself free.

So anyway, back to the ministry update.

We gave away a lot of resources to pastors and ministries in April because the Lord impressed upon me a long time ago to operate by first need, first claim. God needed His money back before we needed it for expenses, so He got it first. That’s how we operate all the time. This keeps us living by faith, but I know Father God is good for His Word.

We had the resources to complete the work of the ministry last month because you were faithful and gave. THANK YOU FOR THAT. I am so grateful.

This month, however, we have the same needs all over again.

Our overhead has to be paid every month–lots of internet software fees, email costs, and more. Also, I have to be paid every month (I’m an employee of the ministry now) because I can’t minister if my family can’t pay the bills. We also have our Pinterest administrator and other subcontractors to pay every month.

So we need your help.

I need you to pray, and if the Lord leads you to do so–especially if you are not already helping support this ministry and it blesses you–then I need  you to give.

We have expenses coming due this month that we do not have the money to pay. We need about $7,000 USD right now to pay overhead, payroll, and hire several subcontractors (including an assistant for me about 15-20 hours per week) so we can get more sermons and teaching to you more often (including free teachings).

Also, this fall’s inner healing retreat is much on my heart.

From this month through August, we’re focusing extra funds that come in (over expenses) on providing scholarships for the September inner healing retreat.

I’m still in the process of reviewing applications with our board and approving scholarships. However, we have dozens more applications for scholarships than we have money available.

(If you applied for a scholarship, you will be hearing from me. It takes time, but don’t give up hope and keep your calendar clear for those dates.)

We do have to pay regular ministry expenses first, before we can award extra scholarships. However, I’m believing God to provide.

So we need you. I need you. I can’t operate this ministry alone, but together we can shake the world by reaching people and equipping laborers to go into the harvest field themselves.

And now for the baby update:

My baby is eating his toes. Right now, laying beside me, he’s eating his feet. It’s the cutest thing ever.

That said, he’s doing so much better each week. My journey off dairy has been challenging, but I’m sticking with it. And Elijah is doing SO MUCH BETTER without dairy! (Who knew?)

He’s also talking nonstop. When we go to church, it’s the funniest thing. I wear him in a wrap, and he goes to sleep during the (loud) worship. Then, he wakes up and wants to help our pastor preach during the sermons. He has a lot to say.

He does still have quite a bit of reflux and still vomits up a lot of his food. We may be seeing some additional doctors about this sometime soon.

Elijah was also dedicated to the Lord this last Sunday, on what is Mother’s Day here in the USA.

Our pastors, Pastors Jamie and Judy Jacobs Tuttle, placed an apostolic and prophetic blessing on him and it was so beautiful. I love knowing that I don’t own this baby, but rather have only been entrusted with him as a gift from Heaven.

Elijah has been on a nursing strike lately, where he’s developing so much that lots of other things are interesting to him–but eating is not so interesting. I’m concerned about that and praying and working with him to get him back eating like he should be.

Overall, though, Elijah is doing great. We are overwhelmed with love for him and so thankful for him. He is truly a gift from Heaven.

And two praises:

My c-section incision has gotten a lot better over the last month or two. This is an answer to prayer. Thank you for praying!

AND …

We got a sales contract on a little house lot we bought many years ago but never built on. We got our full sales price. Even at that price, we are taking over a 25% loss on the land–but we need the money to get us closer to purchasing a new-to-us vehicle for my husband to drive. So, we are incredibly thankful for the sale. (It is scheduled to close on May 30.)

So here are my prayer requests:

• Please pray for my son, that he will eat like he should, keep his food down, and keep growing. 🙂
• Pray that Papa would bring our blog posts and materials to the right people, in the right place, at the right time to be a blessing to them and to glorify His own name.
• Please pray for our ministry’s finances, that we would have all we need for expenses, plus subcontractors and an assistant, PLUS everything we need to meet every retreat scholarship that has been applied for.
• Pray that Papa God would prepare the hearts of all the people who are attending the retreat.
• Pray that EVERYONE who needs to sign up for the retreat to sign up and attend.
• Pray for our baby to sleep well at night. I’ve been getting about 4-5 hours’ sleep many nights lately. I’m grateful for those hours, but sure could use a few more. 🙂
• Pray for the Lord to provide us with a new vehicle for my husband to drive. New-to-us is fine.
• Pray that I would have grace, strength, and wisdom as I re-calibrate so many areas of life this month.
• Pray that God would give me wisdom as I outsource work to others.
• Pray for the pastors and ministers we are helping, that they would be faithful and diligent as they enter the new frontiers of online ministry and media communication.

First, the great news about our tax status:

Hallelujah! We received the awesome news just a few days ago that our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status has been approved by the IRS (the American tax agency).

This means that your donations to From His Presence, Inc. are officially tax-deductible if you file an American tax return and itemize your deductions!

Getting our tax-exempt status has been a loooong process. We’ve been working on it for over a year now, and you all have prayed multiple times for our success. Seeing it come through was such a weight off my mind, and I believe it will be a blessing to you as well if you file American taxes.

Next, the update about the retreat:

The retreat is ON as long as we have enough people sign up. We need a minimum of 40 people to hold the retreat at the current price of $405 per person. The retreat price includes:

• retreat center lodging for 3 nights (separate cabins/dorms for men and women);
• 8 meals prepared by a professional chef;
• personal appointments for prophetic ministry from our prophetic team;
• fun activities like canoeing; and, most importantly:

• We ministered to 78,265 individual people through this website alone–not counting our work on The Elijah List, Spirit Fuel, iBelieve.com, social media, or our OverNotUnder.com website.
• This website saw 181,412 pageviews.
• We saw 5,538 pageviews on Over Not Under from 1,786 individual people.
• I was able to spend time helping two pastors prepare to launch their online ministries. We provided this help for FREE. Helping pastors get their ministries online has become a huge part of what we do over this past year. It brings exponential growth to the Kingdom, so I believe God will keep growing that aspect of our ministry.
• We paid a virtual assistant for some technical help that one pastor needed in order to launch their online ministry.
• We released 15 new or updated blog posts on this website, and 4 new posts on OverNotUnder.com!
• We also sent out multiple teaching emails about healing from father wounds and other things–material that is sent especially to our email subscribers and doesn’t appear on the blog.

Now here are some neat doors the Lord is opening for us right now:

First, just this morning, the Lord opened a door for us to sow into a local jail ministry.

We will be providing Bibles and study materials to prisoners in a local jail this month, and may be serving there on an ongoing basis after I go through training and their security checks. I’m SO EXCITED about this! We’re going to help set actual “captives” free from sin and bondage through the power of Jesus Christ!

Second, my literary agent has been working on getting us a publisher for my book “21 Kisses”–a word of hope for the rejected, neglected, and downcast.

Honestly, 21 Kisses is the hottest prophetic, rhema-est, most on-time word I’ve ever released. Some of you have heard it via the audio MP3s which are available on my Gumroad store. I STRONGLY recommend that you grab the audio if you haven’t already; and there will be even MORE good stuff in the book!

Please continue to pray as we are seeing interest in the book from the publishing community, and we need the Lord to arrange for us to work with just the right publisher to help us get this message out.

Thirdly, I will be helping teach a new small group for my local church starting this week, for a total of six weeks. I’m very excited about that! After this six-week group is over, we’ll break for the summer and then I’ll be teaching again in the autumn (at least that’s the plan, and I hope it works out).

Also, we are exploring opportunities to match our calling to sow into Israel with our calling to bless and support pastors and their ministries.

The Lord has downloaded some ideas into my heart about this, and we’ll continue to pray through it and see what He does. I’ll be more specific when I have a better direction from the Lord.

I am also planning additional free webinars AND advanced-study classes, which will be available on an ongoing basis.

Now here’s the story about the MIRACLES God did after I asked you for prayers and help last Wednesday:

First, I could feel your prayers, and I REALLY appreciate your praying. I appreciate it so much; words cannot even describe how much. THANK YOU.

That night, my son, Elijah, miraculously went to sleep in his daddy’s arms. My husband always takes the baby in the evenings, but Elijah won’t always go to sleep. But suddenly, he did. And while Bruce rocked him so he would keep sleeping, a holy grace hit our house.

I mean it. It was like a holy hush. A holy flow came upon me suddenly, and I began to clean the house.

I was anointed for it. I haven’t felt that particular kind of flow in a very long time–and I flow in the Spirit all day every day! It was a MIRACLE!

Things that had been laying around and causing me SO much stress suddenly got cleaned up. I’m telling you that angels had to have been helping me, and I know Holy Spirit was helping for sure. Elijah just slept and slept. His head was even flopped over to the side on my husband’s arm, and the baby’s mouth was wide open. He was out like a light!

Meanwhile, I kept cleaning the house–and I felt so much JOY and holy ease. It was like things picked themselves up and flew through the air to put themselves away. (Of course, that didn’t actually happen; but that’s what it felt like.)

I feel like that was a miracle, and it gave me so much encouragement. It was also an answer to our prayers.

Also, starting on Wednesday through now, a financial miracle has been happening.

In the email I sent you, I asked that if you weren’t already a donor to our ministry, that you please consider making a one-time donation, purchasing a product, or becoming a monthly partner with us. We needed the help to finish paying March’s expenses, and we need it for April too.

We prayed, and we asked … and you answered. God answered.

So many of you wonderful readers sent one-time donations or purchased products. Several folks became new partners, renewed lapsed partnerships, or increased their partnerships. Whatever you felt led by God to do, you did … and every gift has been an answer to prayer.

And now for the baby update:

My boy is doing so well.

First, the reflux that has been hounding him is getting less all the time. My pastor prayed over him yesterday about this, and today it was even less than usual so far. I believe God is healing him.

Also, he has been having sleep issues, where he wouldn’t sleep unless he is on me. If I put him down, he would scream. People have lots of different methods for dealing with this, and I am trying various things. I haven’t figured out what Elijah responds to best quite yet.

However, yesterday, my pastor prayed over him regarding sleep issues too, and guess what?

Last night, he slept really well. He slept a good long time. And, this morning, Elijah let me put him down TWICE. Once, he took a nap IN HIS PLAYPEN. The next time, he let me put him in a little bassinet in my kitchen so I could eat some breakfast.

This is a miracle. I’m telling you, it’s an outright miracle. This child has been glued to me. Then suddenly, he’s ok!

He’s also in a developmental leap right now, so he’s learning new things. His motor control is getting better; he’s discovering his fingers and thumb; he’s suddenly able to lay on his tummy and hold his head up SO much better; he’s making new noises and starting to mimic his daddy.

He’s a doll. I love him so much! And this boy is a PROPHET. I can see the personality in him already. I can’t wait to see what he does for the Lord. 🙂

Here’s the next part of the miracle:

My desperation last week–and all of your encouraging emails and comments, which I am going to try and respond to–made me turn aggressive in trying to get help (probably like I should have been all along). I reached out to some friends and asked if they could possibly hold the baby for me so I could write and work. (Remember that I don’t have family nearby to help, so friends are the only option.)

I had not asked before because all my friends are incredibly busy with their own families and I hate to ask. I don’t want to be a burden. But, God gives grace to the humble, right? So I figured I’d ask and maybe they could help.

And they did.

One friend came over on Saturday and held Elijah while my husband and I worked on cleaning the house. Another friend came over yesterday and rocked the baby to sleep for 3 HOURS, and that’s how I got the new Over Not Under blog post written.

And today, I’m at the home of another precious friend, who is holding Elijah while I write this post.

Another friend volunteered to help later in the week. Another precious reader from my hometown volunteered to help. (If you’re reading this, I’m going to get back to you! <3 ) Even some lovely ladies from my small group at church volunteered to help.

So over the next few days, help is on its way.

I’m overwhelmed–in a good way. And so grateful.

So here are our prayer requests, both personal and for this ministry, right now:

• Continue to pray for the ministry’s finances, that Papa would provide all we need in abundance, as He has always done and will continue to do.
• Pray that Papa will get our blog posts, videos, classes, etc in the hands of the right people, at the right place, at the right time, so He can bless, encourage, equip, and build them up.
• Pray for everyone that Papa wants to attend the inner healing retreat to do so.
• Pray for the right book contract for 21 Kisses.
• Please continue to pray that I will have wisdom to care for this ministry; care for my son; and also to take care of myself.
• Please continue to pray that Papa would send us help in childcare a few times a week. 🙂
• Pray for me to have wisdom, grace, and strength as I am right in the middle of helping some pastors launch major projects in online ministry.
• Please continue to pray for my physical healing, as my c-section incision STILL has not healed, 3.5 months post-op.
• I still have a sprained ligament in my pelvis from carrying the baby. It causes a lot of pain. Please pray for healing from that.
• Please pray that Papa would provide a new-to-us, paid-for vehicle for my husband to drive. We are saving for this, but it’s slow going. We thank God the car we have is still going, but it needs help.

Beloveds, we covet your prayers. Prayer is the one thing that moves this ministry. Prayer moves God, and God helps. Prayer moves heaven, and heaven responds.
