As a reminder:

In this series, we will examine one short Scripture passage each day.

Then, we will pray through it with a brief series of bullet-point prayers. Each day, our goal is to strengthen our faith by gaining greater revelation about the importance of faith in our lives, and how faith WORKS.

21 More Days of Breakthrough Prayer

Do you need breakthrough in the toughest times? If so, the 21 days of detailed, bullet-point prayer directives in this book will encourage you, equip you, and help you receive the miracles you need from the Lord!

Here’s today’s short video word of encouragement:

Our key Scripture today is Galatians 3:21-22:

“Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe” (Galatians 3:21-22 NKJV).

I want you to notice the word “all” here.

The point of today’s devotional is that the Scripture confined ALL under sin through the Law, so that everyone would know they couldn’t be good enough to keep the Law …

and so that everyone would only have access to God, and to the things of God, through FAITH.

This means that faith is the great equalizer.

You don’t have to be rich enough, strong enough, powerful enough in the government, tall enough, thin enough, or anything else. Additionally:

    • You don’t have to be related to the right person.
    • You don’t have to have a certain background.
    • You don’t have to have any specific kind of education.
    • You don’t have to have experience in any certain career field.

Access to God is by faith for everybody, because nobody is good enough through the works of their flesh. And it’s only by faith that everybody can receive the fulfillment of God’s promises in your life.

That’s good news today, friend. And it should strengthen your faith, because the Bible is clear that you’re on an equal playing field with everyone else–as long as you have faith in Jesus Christ.

Let’s pray through this Scripture today:

    • Tell the Father that you come to Him in Jesus’ name.
    • Thank Him for saving you by grace through faith.
    • Thank Him for not requiring you to do enough works of the flesh in order to access Him and His promises.
    • Thank Him that His promises are FOR YOU, by faith!
    • Confess any inadequacies you feel to God. (For example, if you’re not related to the right people that can help you get what you want; if you don’t have the right education that most people are expected to have; if you don’t have the amount of money that would generally be required for you to go after what you want, et cetera.)
    • But then thank the Father that His grace is sufficient for you, for His strength is made perfect in your weakness.
    • Confess to the Lord that you’ve got plenty of weakness for Him to work with!
    • Invite Him to make His strength perfect in your weakness today.
    • Ask the Lord for His wisdom, understanding, favor, revelation, and grace to be upon your life.
    • Thank Him for giving you His promises by faith.
    • Ask Him to fulfill ALL His promises in your life as you continue to seek Him by faith.
    • Thank Him for hearing and answering your prayer. Give Him all the praise!

Friend, many people feel unqualified when they look at God’s promises and call.

But your faith in God qualifies you. God uses your faith to make up the distance between His end goal and your current bank balance, background, connections, network, education, work experience, and all those other things.

None of us have what it takes in the flesh to receive God’s promises fulfilled. But ALL of us can operate in faith, the great equalizer. And when you get filled with faith in God–even laboring in the Word to make your faith stronger–you will find GOD doing the rest.

Does it bring you comfort today to know that faith is the great equalizer, and that God will do what you cannot–by your faith? If so, leave a comment below!
