Day 2: Miracles Through You and Dreams Fulfilled

Welcome to Day 2 of Morning and Night: 21 Days of Praying for Your Ministry! Today, in the morning, we are praying for God to work signs, wonders, and miracles through you in your ministry. And in the evening, we are praying for your dreams to be fulfilled.

First, read these Scriptures to build your faith for our morning prayer points:

“Matthew 10:7-10: “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food” (Matthew 10:7-10 NKJV).

Acts 5:12-16: “And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.

And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed” (Acts 5:12-16 NKJV).

Acts 19:11: “Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them” (Acts 19:11 NKJV).

Romans 2:11: “For there is no partiality with God” (Romans 2:11 NKJV).

Daniel 11:32b: “… but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” (Daniel 11:32b NKJV).

John 14:12-14: ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it”” (John 14:12-14 NKJV).

Isaiah 61:1-3: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called tress of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified” (Isaiah 61:1-3 NKJV).

Isaiah 49:8-9: “Thus says the Lord: “In an acceptable time I have heard You, and in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You as a covenant to the people, to restore the earth, to cause them to inherit the desolate heritages; that You may say to the prisoners, ‘Go forth,’ to those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves’” (Isaiah 49:8-9 NKJV).

Pray through the following prayer points as you ask the Lord to work signs, wonders, and miracles through you and your ministry to others:

• Thank the Lord for entrusting you with the privilege, honor, and responsibility of proclaiming His Word and showing people Who He is.
• Praise Him for working through you in all things, for without Him you can do nothing–but you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
• Ask the Lord to help you preach His Word everywhere you go.
• Pray for great wisdom and discernment, so that you would know how to approach people with the Gospel in just the right way that is appealing and compelling to them, and not off-putting to them.
• Pray that the Lord would speak through you always. Surrender your lips of clay to Him, to be used for His glory always!
• Ask the Lord to continually bring you into greater and greater understanding of His Kingdom, so you can preach about the Kingdom to others.
• Ask the Lord to help you heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons.
• Pray for boldness, so that you will be ready ‘in season and out of season’ when opportunities arise to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. 🙂
• Pray that the Lord would help you remember the authority you have in His name, and would help you wield the authority of His name properly, never misusing it in any matter.
• Ask the Lord to help you give freely in all the areas where you have received freely.
• Pray that the Lord will also help you know when to “sell [spiritual] grain,” for the book of Proverbs says that blessing is on the head of those who sell grain and feed others. (This applies even to spiritual grain.)
• Remind the Lord that a worker is worthy of his food, and ask the Lord to provide for your physical needs and the needs of all your family, as you preach.
• Remind the Lord that He is no respecter of persons. What He did through and for others in the Bible, He will do through and for you! Thank Him for this.
• Ask the Lord to use your hands to work many signs and wonders for His glory, and for the sake of His great name.
• Pray that you would draw so close to the Lord that even your shadow would carry so much anointing that people would get healed when even your shadow falls on them.
• Ask the Lord to anoint you with so much of Himself, His Spirit, and His power, that even things you touch carry His anointing and healing virtue–and that other people get healed, saved, and delivered when they even touch something you have touched.
• Ask the Lord for His dunamis power to fill you right now, and to flow through you for the rest of your life.
• Ask the Lord to make you strong. Remind the Lord that His grace is sufficient for you, for His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Ask Him to let His strength flow through you today and every day.
• Pray that you would know Him better than ever before, and that (as He makes you strong with His grace), He would use you to do great exploits.
• Ask that He would use you to do greater works than even Jesus did, according to the words of Jesus in John 14.
• Thank the Lord for doing whatever you ask in His name! Praise Him for His kindness and generosity toward you and those you serve.
• Pray through Isaiah 61:1-3 and Isaiah 49:8-9 (above) verbatim, asking the Lord to do every single thing in each phrase of those verses.
• And give Him all the praise!

In the evening, we are praying for your dreams to be fulfilled.

First, read the the following Scriptures about your dreams fulfilled:

Proverbs 16:3: “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts shall be established” (Proverbs 16:3 NKJV).

Proverbs 13:12: “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life” (Proverbs 13:12 NKJV).

John 10:10: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 NKJV).

Habakkuk 2:2-4: “Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith” (Habakkuk 2:2-4 NKJV).

And by the way, I hope you made a fasting list already.

If you didn’t, it’s time to write the vision! Don’t hesitate or draw back in fear. Don’t give in to the enemy’s lies that tell you that you aren’t worthy of being blessed. Write down your whole vision, including all that you want God to do for you as a result of this fast–and even your dreams for your life.

As you are writing your vision …

Write pages and pages of things you want to do, want God to do, and want to have. Write down the places you want to go and the things you want to see happen in your life! Do not hesitate, for (as Jesus said over and over in the Gospels), “according to your faith be it unto you!”

• Commit your works to the Lord in prayer right now. Confess to Him that you are totally dependent on Him, and ask Him to establish all the thoughts, desires, and plans of your heart–and to bring them into fruition.
• Ask the Lord to put an end to the time of hope deferred, and to fill you with hope in Him right now, for He IS your hope.
• Ask Him to bring you your desires fulfilled, and that those desires fulfilled would be a tree of life to you.
• Ask our mighty Lord Jesus to fill you with His abundant life right now, and to manifest abundant life in every part of your life–from your relationship with Him, to your health, to your marriage, to your finances, to your work, and, YES, to your ministry. 🙂
• Ask the Lord to protect you from any attacks of the enemy, since the enemy is always trying to steal, kill, and destroy.
• Ask the Lord to honor your tithes and rebuke the devourer for your sake (see Malachi 3).
• Ask the Lord to help you write the vision that He has given you. Pray for the pen of a ready writer, and that His creativity would flow through you by His Holy Spirit as you write that vision down on paper.
• Ask the Lord to send His angels and His Holy Spirit into your vision, that they would run with it and make it happen; for it is “not by might, nor by power,” but by His Spirit that all things happen. (See Zechariah 4:6.)
