Then, pray through the following prayer points as you ask the Lord to be glorified in all that you do:
- Pray that God would get glory in you, in the church, and in your ministry!
- Ask Him to glorify His Own name exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask or think!
- Pray that Christ’s power would work in you unhindered, so that He can get optimal glory in your life and ministry, without your accidentally blockading His work or His flow.
- Ask God to use you and your ministry to fill the earth with the knowledge of His glory as the waters cover the sea.
- Ask the Lord to help you let your light shine before men, and that people would see your good works and glorify His name.
- Pray for divine wisdom and guidance about what good works the Lord wants you to do.
- Pray that Jesus would deliver you from any works that you think are good, but which He thinks are not good (or not beneficial in any particular situation, with His eternal end goals in mind).
- Pray that you would never try to take credit for anything or rob God of His glory, even accidentally.
- Ask the Lord to keep you humble so that you always give all of the glory and credit for everything to Him.
- Give Him all the praise!
In the evening, we are praying for mending and reconciliation of relationships.
First, read the the following Scriptures about mending and reconciliation of relationships:
Matthew 5:43-48: “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:43-48 NKJV).
Hebrews 12:14: “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord …” (Hebrews 12:14 NKJV).
Do you need boundaries?
Are you spending time people-pleasing? Worse yet, are you being used or abused?
If so, download Jamie’s class entitled Boundaries: What’s Good, What’s Bad, What’s Healthy today. You don’t have to let people stomp on you anymore; Biblical boundaries will set you free.
Matthew 5:23-24: “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift” (Matthew 5:23-24 NKJV).
Matthew 6:14-15: ““For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses”” (Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV).
Matthew 18:15-17: ““Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector”” (Matthew 18:15-17 NKJV).
Then, pray through these prayer points and ask the Lord to mend, heal, and reconcile all your relationships according to His will:
- Ask the Lord to give you His supernatural love for your enemies.
- Ask the Lord to bless your enemies today–and particularly to shower them with His goodness, which leads men to repentance. (See Romans 2:4.)
- Ask the Lord to help you persevere in loving, praying for, and blessing your enemies, so that you can become perfect, as our Father in Heaven is perfect.
- Pray for supernatural conviction, wisdom, grace, and anointing to pursue peace with all people.
- Ask the Lord to show you the pathways of peace. Pray that He will reveal to you what steps to take in every relationship, even if that means confronting issues, separating from someone to avoid further conflict, or establishing boundaries in the relationship.
- If your brother or sister in Christ has something against you and you haven’t confronted it yet, stop now and reach out to the person to attempt reconciliation with them in Christ, and with Christ’s help.
- Ask the Lord for an anointing to forgive all who have trespassed (crossed boundaries) against you or sinned against you in any way.
- Ask the Lord for the names of people you still need to forgive. Write down in your journal every name you hear, even if you think you have already forgiven that person.
- Go pray through this sample prayer of forgiveness and soul healing here for every person whose name the Lord brings to your mind. You must do this if you want God to forgive YOUR sins! And if your sins are not forgiven, you cannot even be saved! (See Romans 6:23.)
- If a brother or sister has sinned against you and you didn’t follow the Matthew 18 conflict resolution process, ask the Lord where to step back into that process, and how to finish what you started, so you can be in obedience to Him.
Finally, it may sound radical, but the Word promises that the people who despised and afflicted you–and even their children–will come bowing to you and admit that you were of God.
Isaiah 60:14 says:
“Also the sons of those who afflicted you shall come bowing to you, and all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you The City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 60:14 NKJV).
Regarding this promise, pray as follows:

- Ask the Lord that the sons of those who afflicted you would come bowing to you.
- Pray that ALL the people who have despised you would fall prostrate at the soles of your feet, and that they would all call you “The City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.”
- Ask the Lord to grant true repentance to the people who have afflicted and despised you, so that Jesus would no longer be crucified again by their hypocritical and ungodly actions.
- Ask Him to move in their hearts with the powerful conviction of the Holy Spirit. Pray that He would convict both you and your enemies of any sins in your hearts, and would help everyone make things right both with God and with humans.
Friend, are you willing to do the work it takes to have more anointing than ever before?
Today’s Scriptures and prayer points are heavy, but you’re in ministry (or want to be), so you can handle the heavy stuff. God can and will help you.
Beloved, if you will do the work to humble yourself, you will see God glorified. If you will do the work to follow His commands, you will see relationships mended and hearts made whole–or at least, you will have peace, even if the conflict resolution process ends with the Lord separating you from a person.
What is the Lord speaking to you today about His glory and your relationships? Did you pray to forgive anyone today? Leave a comment below!
