Do you need a new computer? I know it may seem like a silly thing to pray about, but my role as a teacher is to help people learn how to cast all their burdens on the Lord–even the seemingly “silly” ones. And if your technology is failing you, or you don’t even have a computer at all, then coming up the money to buy a new computer when you need one may feel like quite a burden indeed.
To help you in this area, I wrote a prayer for a new computer that you can pray, based on the Scriptures!
But before we pray for your new computer, let me reassure you of this:

God cares about everything that matters to you–even a new computer.
It doesn’t have to look or feel “spiritual” in order for your concern to matter to God. He cares about providing you with a new job, a new-to-you vehicle, a vacation, and everything else you need. He cares about the bills that are coming due right now, and He will help you pay them. And He will provide everything else you need and desire–including a computer.
As the Word of God says:
“Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:3-4 NKJV).
Also, John 14:14 says:
“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it” (John 14:14 NKJV).
And Psalm 55:22 tells us:
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22 NKJV).
Yes, the Word of God promises that our Lord will give you what you ask for when you ask in Jesus’ name–even something as simple as a new laptop or desktop.

Also, I do want to point out that a computer is a basic necessity in many cultures around the world.
A good laptop or desktop will help you communicate with your loved ones, manage your money (which is God’s money, and He wants you to be a good steward), build a business so you can obey His commands about entrepreneurship, and so much more. It really isn’t silly at all to pray for a new computer if you need one. A computer is a machine that can change your life!
So without further ado, pray this prayer for a new computer if you need one:
“Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in Jesus’ name.
Abba Father, thank You for providing all my needs. Thank You that Your ear is tuned to hear my slightest whisper, and thank You for being my Provider and my Source. You are El Shaddai, from whom all blessings flow–and I praise You for that today, Abba.
Holy Father, You know that I need a new computer. I need this machine for ______. And although it seems like a simple thing, You know that I cannot afford a new computer by myself. Nevertheless, I come to You today because You are my Provider, and I know You can provide.
Abba Father, Your Word says that, if I ask anything in Jesus’ name, You will do it and Jesus will do it.
For that reason, Abba, I ask right now in Jesus’ name that You would send me a new computer. Please send me _____ (insert type of computer you desire), with all the needed parts and accessories: keyboard, mouse, cords and cables, case, software, and everything else I need.
I also ask in Jesus’ name that You would send me a computer that will work perfectly, with no glitches or bugs. Send me the right computer, and deliver me from all the wrong ones, I pray.
In Jesus’ name, Father, I ask also that You would provide for this computer to be fully paid for.
You know that I don’t have the money to pay for it, but I need this machine to do Your work of stewardship for my family. And Your Word says that You will provide exceedingly abundantly ABOVE all that I could ask or think. Therefore, Abba, please send the money out of the north, south, east, and west to provide for me to purchase everything I need, and let there be no debt associated with this purchase at all.
Holy Father in Heaven, I thank You for listening to this request. Thank You that I can cast my burdens upon You, and You will sustain me. You will not allow the righteous to be moved! And Your Word says that You will do anything for me that I ask in Jesus’ name.
Therefore, Abba Father, I do ask these things humbly in Jesus’ name. And I thank You for hearing and answering my prayer. Please send me my new computer as fast as possible, and I thank You for it and give you all the praise.
In Jesus’ holy and precious name I pray, amen and amen.”

I say Amen again to these prayers. When I prayed it the last time, God gave me the needed laptop for the moment, and he brought another one. Both were given to me by friends. How on point is this. Just yesterday i droppwd6of an old laptop for repairs, today i was told that it cannot be repaired and also the soft ware will not be able to handle the work I would need to do.

What a timely prayer–for a computer! Indeed it is not silly, and a basic need for those of us who are totally blind and rely on screen reader software to communicate and navigate daily tasks and the internet! I am praying for a new, paid for, HP laptop pc; a fast operating one, capable of handling my screen reader software and applications without glitches and slowing down frustration, when doing basic daily tasks,
and running my local ministry to persons experiencing or facing homelessness in my community.

JESUS SAVES!) 1. I have a Tablet, of which I am using right now, to write this prayer request comment, also, concerning this tablet, I’ve dropped it several times. I’m not sure what type it is. It may be an Amazon Fire Tablet. I think that it’s going on seven, or nearly seven, if not more, years since I purchased it. I can’t seem to keep it in my memory all of the steps to cleaning out the storage and/or concerning whatever else I may need to free up space for, even if someone else may show me many times. And when I first received the fire tablet, I had to get someone else to get it started for me; I can’t seem to concentrate and/or comprehend and/or hold the thought of the instructions (or else maybe understand the instructions), in my head long enough, or whatever the case, to do whatever needs to be done. I guess that’s one of the reasons why somebody, or more, said that I was off. Other things I seem to do fairly well. (I’m not trying to be negative, judgmental, or guilty of complaining – but rather, I’m trying to request prayer for the areas I mentioned that I fall down in.) (Forgive me, for such a lengthy writing, that is, if I must confess!) And by the way, even though I have a tablet, of which, if I make no mistake, I’m not sure whether it’s giving me 100% service after being dropped several times, please pray that the LORD will bless me with another one, while simultaneously miraculously addressing the problems I previously mentioned.
