Prayer for Money to Do Every Good Work

Did you know that the Lord has promised you the money to do every good work that there is? True story! And today, I want to share a sample prayer with you–a prayer for money to do whatever the good thing in your heart is!

Now, not every work is a good work; but everything that is good and Biblical and the Lord lays on your heart to do, He will provide for. He said so, and His Word is true!

Here’s His promise:
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV).
Again, remember that not every work is a good work.
For instance, let’s say you have an adult child who continually asks you for money and won’t get a job. Those actions don’t line up with God’s Word, so even though giving that child money may be something your HEART wants to do, it’s not the loving thing to do so. Giving them money actually enables them to continue disobeying God. In that case, giving that person money is not a good work.

Everything you see was created by the spoken word.
So if you have nothing except the ability to speak, you can still create anything you want. You can be like God and speak those things that are not as if they already were (Romans 4:17)!

But, let’s say that you desire earnestly to further the Kingdom (in your life or someone else’s).
Perhaps it’s in your heart to:
- start tithing if you’re not a tither yet;
- get out of debt;
- pay off your house;
- launch your ministry website;
- plant a church;
- bless your parents;
- send your child to Christian school;
- move into a safer neighborhood;
- or even help a single parent who is working and doing all she/he can–but can’t quite put enough groceries on the table.
THOSE are good works, for they line up with God’s Word! So what happens if you don’t have the money to do those things?
Well, if it’s in your heart to do and it’s a good work, then God has promised to provide for it.
So as soon as you realize that you have a good work in your heart and need provision, you hit your knees! You go to the Lord in prayer, day in and day out, reminding Him of His Word in 2 Corinthians 9:8, and insisting that He perform His Word in your life!
Faith like that pleases God.
Faith like that moves mountains. And our Papa in Heaven will answer that prayer of faith by providing all you need to perform every good work. I know, for He has convicted me of this so powerfully and shown Himself mighty on behalf of our ministry when we claim this promise.
Every time.
And every time the Lord has shown me something new He wants us to do, He has dropped what I call a “faith bomb” in my spirit. And when the faith to step out shows up, we’ve gone to praying and believing and acting on our faith, because faith without works is dead–and He has sent the money.
Every time.
He’ll do the same for you. What good work is in your heart today for which you need money?
Need to pay your child’s Christian school tuition? Need to pay your rent or your electric bill? Or maybe your heart is burning to bless somebody?
God will do it.

“Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You in Jesus’ name. Father God, I love You. I thank You that every good and perfect gift comes from above–from You, Lord–for You are the Father of lights, in whom there is no shadow of turning. You are consistent, reliable, and FAITHFUL. You always have been, and You always will be.
Father, You’ve brought me too far to doubt You now. I BELIEVE YOU, ABBA FATHER. I believe You. I believe what You say. I believe You do what You say You do. I believe You provide on time. You always have, and You always will. Thank You for that, Father.
Father, I do thank You.
I don’t ever want to ask and ask and ask, without also acknowledging all the wonderful things You have already done for me. You are good, and Your mercies endure forever. You woke me up this morning, clothed and sane. You put food on my table, clothes on my back, and You have provided everything I need. You always show up on time.
Thank You, Father.
Father, I want to remind You of Your Word today.
In 2 Corinthians 9:8, You said that You are able to make all grace abound toward me; that I, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Father, I love that promise. It’s amazing. It demonstrates Your heart toward me, Your heart of love for the world, and Your amazing generosity. You amaze me, Abba Father.
And Lord, since You said You would provide for every good work, I lift up (insert the good work you have in your heart to do) to You today.
Father, You said that, whatever I do, I should do as to the Lord, not to men. Lord, I want to do this for You. I want to see Your will on the earth in every area, but especially this one today.
So Father, please help me.
Abba Father, I ask that right now You would provide the money I need–this very day. Please send it now. If I’m supposed to do anything specific to receive it, then show me what that is and help me do it. If I’m only supposed to sit back and rest while You send the money I need, then show me that too.
Father, I can’t do this without You–but I don’t have to. I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me. You give me power to do this; You provide the funding; and You do it through me. Thank You, Father, that Your promises are “yes and amen.”
Father, glorify Your own name through and in this good work.
Thank You that it’s by Your grace–Your abundant grace. Thank You that I have ALL sufficiency in ALL things. Thank You that I have an abundance for this work and every other good work too.
Thank You, Father. I receive it in the name of Jesus, and I bless Your holy name for it. Thank You. I love You, Lord, and I thank You for hearing and answering my prayer.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
My friend, if you have a good work in your heart to do, our loving Papa God will provide for it.
He promised, and every word that He speaks is true. Believe it, claim the promises, and receive it!

Thank you God for hearing my request and making it possible for me to accomplish something to help others have the best quality of life in their older years with my care and support services.
Hallelujah, Glory to the Only God, He is magnificent. It is incredible how this prayer came at this time. I had been communicating with my granddaughter just last night and this morning about money issues. I have helped her a lot, maybe too much, and I finally said No and stuck with it. I communicated with her to recommit her life back to God and get back into the church. This is the paragraph I read before I prayed.
(For instance, let’s say you have an adult child who continually asks you for money and won’t get a job. ( my granddaughter has a job, just mismanagement and poor decision making) Those actions don’t line up with God’s Word, so even though giving that child money may be something your HEART wants to do, it’s not the loving thing to do. Giving them money enables them to continue disobeying God. In that case, giving that person money is not good work. This is SPOT ON. It perfectly fits my situation it’s live.
Then, as I was reading the scripture And God can make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV). I could see Jesus standing in front of me, calling my name and saying, Trudi, this is yours. I give you all sufficiency in everything, and my grace abounds toward you. It was personal to me: directly.
Then I could see myself like on a beach or oceanfront and see a big, huge wave, like a tsunami, building up in front of me, heading my way, but it did not knock me down. It came to me, and I had control of how it came to me: a gentle flow. Jesus stood beside me, holding me, hugging me, smiling. I felt joyful.
And As I said the prayer and called out everything. I just felt peace, a knowing that a shift had come, and then I saw myself, the old Trudi, step out from behind something that looked like a sheet, a curtain, wrinkled, something that symbolized negatively. In my mind, I stepped out from behind it and did it in person, made the physical motion of standing up from behind the computer, and stepped around it to the side first, then in front of it into an open space. I was now standing under my kitchen’s bright light and could see my dining room’s bright light ahead of me. I just stepped under it and forward from light to light as it was symbolic and a gesture of faith. And I told God to say yes, BLOSSUM IN AND THROUGH ME. HAVE YOUR WILL AND YOUR WAY. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BRIGHTLY ON ME. THANK YOU FOR GRACE, ABUNDANCE, LIFE

YES and Amen I TOUCH AND AGREE, So I have an PRAISE report, I have been praying for my doctor’s bill’s to get payed, only some Will, they are so much, because I need a hip replacement soon, so, it’s back bill’s I needed to catch up, and other’s Bills too, my Job cut some hour’s out for me to work because i be in some much pain. So Today my Church family surprised me and blessed me with Money to take care of Me needs and I can bless someone else too, The water of blessings is Stirring around, They Blessed me,im blessing someone else, in Jesus YESUHA the CHRIST NAME AMEN 🙏🔥👑 GOD is Good.
I prayed your beautiful prayer, Jamie, and I wrote it all out. I’ll be praying this prayer again and again. I feel so overwhelmed by the beauty of the prayer, and I have faith that it will come to fruition. I’ve been through many painful and difficult times in my life, but I’ve never lost hope or given up on my Almighty Savior and I believe He has always pulled me through somehow. Jamie I sincerely believe that you are a “God sent” for me and so many people, and I can only pray that the Good Lord will always bless you many times over for your wonderful work and inspiration. Amen! Powerful prayer indeed. God will cause grace to abound in my life. Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm me with every form of grace, so that I will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make me overflow with abundance in paying off my debts, paying for my son’s tuition, paying off my bond and paying my tithe (TPT). Halelluyah, I receive it, it is done in Jesus Mighty name.

Amen! Thank you for this prayer. God has already been blessing me with checks from the IRS that have come just in time to pay my bills, and I got a check today big enough to bless someone else. So my faith is high!
