Prophetic Word: If You Feel Like a Big, Giant Failure

Have you been feeling like a big, giant failure recently? If so, the Lord has a powerful word of encouragement for you today.

I heard the Father say:

“I have washed you and made you new in the blood of My Son Jesus.

Think not that you are unworthy to carry that which I have committed to you to birth on the earth. In fact, I knew of your fallible nature when I committed these things to you. However, I chose you to carry them anyway.

I do not need experts on the earth. I need humble people who know they need Me. I do not need celebrities in order to carry out My will. All I need is a vessel surrendered.

You surrendered yourself as a vessel to Me a long, long time ago.

And I have received you as an offering. Your life is a sweet-smelling sacrifice unto Me, and you truly do present your body to Me as a living sacrifice.

I know you do not feel like you do sometimes. And sometimes you feel like a big, giant failure. Yet, even your willingness to go on serving Me despite the pain of this life is evidence that you have submitted your body to Me as a sacrifice, for you must needs go on living in your body until this life is over.

I have chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.

I have chosen the weak things, the hidden things, and the small things to confound those who are strong, visible, and giant in their own eyes.

Yes, you feel like a failure sometimes. But you are not; you are simply a humble vessel. And humble vessels get no glory from men, so that is why I have chosen you to carry My glory.

Keep on continuing in your small things, your humble things.

This doesn’t mean not to carry big dreams; I do need you to carry some big dreams, for they are My dreams that I have entrusted to you to birth on the earth with My help. Nevertheless, your attitude of simply doing the best you can every day, even when you feel like a big, giant failure, is pleasing to Me.

I would much rather have consistent faithfulness than a firecracker who fizzles and goes out.

I can do a lot more through you and in you if you surrender to Me consistently across time, rather than enjoy one moment of surrender only and then your commitment fades.

This life is a hard one in many respects. I was not kidding you when My Son said that in this world you will have tribulation. However, We also were not joking when We said that We have overcome the world.

I am with you to do all things through you, for you can do nothing by yourself.

You cannot do even the smallest little thing without Me, and I wish you would know how freeing that is. If you cannot do anything anyway without Me, then that takes all the pressure off you to perform!

You feel like a big, giant failure sometimes because you are trying to do things in the strength of your own flesh. However, your flesh has no strength, so you might as well depend on My grace and strength for all things anyway.

Let’s cut to the chase: I have made you who you are, and I delight in you–even in your own fleshly inadequacy.

This is why I told My friend Paul that My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in your weakness:

• Yes, you are weak–but I am strong in you!
• You are limited, but I am unlimited!
• You are powerless, but I have all power to move heaven and earth on your behalf, and I do it regularly–even when you don’t know it!

You get the picture? Beloved child, without Me you can do nothing. Nevertheless, you can do ALL THINGS through My Son Jesus who gives you strength!

You are His portion and His lot, and He gave His life that you could be free and whole in Him–having all Our power moving in you, even though none of it is in and of yourself!

So rest in Me today. You can’t do anything without Me, and I do not expect you to.

I will help you rest if you need help–and you do. I will lead you beside still waters today. I will heal and restore your soul.

I will go before you to make crooked places straight and rough places smooth. The glory of the Lord shall be revealed in you, and all flesh shall see it together. I WILL get glory in you, for you are Mine and no one can take you from Me.

I am very protective of you, and I am protecting you right now,” says the Lord.

“You think you are bearing these heavy burdens alone, but the weight of the world is in My hands–and I am bearing your burdens too. I am also carrying you, My child, together with everything that concerns you.

There is really no need for you to fret. All things will work together for your good, for you love Me and are called according to My purpose.

So even if you feel like a big, giant failure today or any other day, know that you are not. You are simply weak in yourself–but in My strength, you are strong.
