In those situations, the key is to speak God’s Word out of your mouth.
Feelings and emotions follow the words that you speak, so words have to come first. But as you speak, you will find your emotions being impacted by your words. You may have to keep on speaking awhile, and then do it again the next day or the next hour–but this is how you transform your mind and your level of faith in trust in God!
To help you and myself both, 🙂 I wrote out 21 tiny prayers that glue your faith to Jesus.
These are prayers that I myself have been using. And as I have prayed them, even one at a time here and there, Jesus has been bringing me great comfort and peace lately. He has been using these prayers to help bring me peace, even in the middle of some tremendously challenging situations, enemy mirages, and frustrations that I am going through right now.

I encourage you to read through these and then speak even one or two of them out loud to the Lord. Or, speak and pray as many of them as resonate with you!
By speaking these tiny prayers out loud to the Lord, you will not only be confessing God’s truth over yourself, but also you will be casting your burdens on the Lord. When you cast your burdens on the Lord, He can sustain you and not allow you to be moved:
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22 NKJV).

Speak these tiny prayers of faith out loud to the Lord today, to glue your faith and your eyes to Jesus:
“Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in Jesus’ name. And I want to thank You for what You are doing in my life, even when I’m really struggling to stay stable in my faith.
So Father God, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit, I choose to confess to You out loud today:
- Thank You for taking care of me, Jesus, when I don’t know and don’t understand.
- Thank You that You are providing for me right now, even when I do not see movement.
- Thank You that You are protecting me right now, even though I feel scared.
- Father, I thank You that what You did before, You are also doing again.
- Lord, I thank You for the privilege of exercising my gifts in such generous and extravagant ways.
- Lord, thank You for working miracles on my behalf again today, like You have always done.
- Thank You that Your mercies are new every day, and that GREAT is Your faithfulness to me. Thank You, Father.
- Thank You, Father, that You are preventing me from having anything that would be bad for me right now. Thank You that I can trust You with myself, and I can trust You to be my Shepherd.
- Thank You that You are shepherding me and bearing me up forever.
- Thank You that Your grace is sufficient for me right now, and that You are making Your strength perfect in my weakness right now as we speak.
- Thank You that You can do in one moment what it would take me years to do.
- Thank You that You are saving me years of time and effort and heavy labor because You are working on my behalf by Your grace, even now.
- Thank You for helping me call to You, and for answering me and showing me GREAT and MIGHTY things that I do not know and have never even experienced before.
- Thank You that my times are in Your hands, even when I wish You would move faster. Thank You that Your timing is perfect, for Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts, and Your ways are higher than my ways.
- Thank You for being with me and dwelling in me right now, even when I feel alone. Thank You that my perceived “aloneness” is actually a lie and a mirage, for you are closer than close and You are sustaining me right now.
- Thank You that You are moving on my behalf and perfecting all things that concern me, even when I feel stuck–and even when I feel like You have abandoned me. Thank You that You will never abandon me or forsake me or leave me without support.
- Thank You for working all things out for my good, even when my day to day life just seems like a series of bad things sometimes. Thank You for Your many hidden and visible blessings on my life, which are actually much more numerous than any bad things I have given my attention to. Please forgive me for taking my eyes off You, and for looking at the bad things instead. Cover me with the blood of Jesus and fill me with Your Holy Spirit where those things were. Help me to keep my eyes on You from now on, I ask, in Jesus’ name.
- Thank You for promoting me and blessing me every time I am persecuted for righteousness’ sake.
- Thank You for preserving me and keeping me alive, even when the enemy comes in like a flood.
- Thank You for raising up a standard by Your Spirit against the enemy right now, and for annihilating his attack against me, even when I feel overwhelmed and somewhat less than victorious.
- Thank You that, in all things, I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves me.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!”

I’m not ignoring my struggle, but I am verbally choosing to believe Him while believing Him for help with my struggle. And this is a powerful combination that touches my heart deeply!

These 21 are in conjunction with all the 21 days that you SET APART to Me and your love, devotion and faithfulness will NOT go UNREWARDED in MY FULLNESS. You have had but a FORETASTE, get ready for THE FEAST BELOVED!
I am coming again to POUR OUT – MY SPIRIT on all flesh. What is coming will be as a GLOBAL TSUNAMI the likes of which has NEVER been seen or witnessed as in times past! Compared to the past outpourings they have only been like CRESTS in the WAVE.
BE READY BE FILLED BE WAITING, for I COME again to REFRESH and to REVIVE…
