Do you have it in your heart to build? If so, I wrote 25 Biblical confessions about building for you to speak out loud over yourself. As you speak these confessions out loud, God’s Word will not return void; it will accomplish its purpose in your life!

Speak these 25 confessions about building over yourself today:

1. The Lord builds my house. I do not labor in vain to build it, for the Lord does the work through me and on my behalf. (See Psalm 127:1.)

2. The Lord does good to me by His favor, and He builds the walls of my life. (See Psalm 51:18.)

    3. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, so my roots and foundations cannot be moved. (See Proverbs 12:3.)

    4. I am wise, so I build my house. I do not tear it down with my hands. (See Proverbs 14:1.)

    5. Through wisdom my house is built, and by understanding my home is established. By knowledge the rooms of my home “are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” (See Proverbs 24:3-4 NKJV).

    6. I build those things that will sustain and feed me before I build the things that make me comfortable. (See Proverbs 24:27.)

    7. I arise and build the walls of my house and life, that I may no longer be a reproach. (See Nehemiah 2:17-18.)

    8. The God of heaven prospers me, therefore I (as His child) arise and build. (See Nehemiah 2:20.)

    9. I eagerly build my house, my business, and my life, for I have a mind to work. (See Nehemiah 4:6.)

    10. I build the walls of my life and close up any gaps, according to the wisdom of the Lord. (See Nehemiah 4:7.)

    11. I am not afraid of the enemy. I build everything the Lord has called me to build. I “remember the Lord, great and awesome,” and I fight for my marriage, my children, my business, my ministry, and my house. (See Nehemiah 4:14 NKJV).

    12. All the plots of the enemy come to nothing in my life. (See Nehemiah 4:15.)

    13. I put on the whole armor of God and stay fully armed while I build. (See Nehemiah 4:17.)

    14. If there is warfare while I build, my God will fight for me. (See Nehemiah 4:19-20.)

    15. I do not cease my work to pay attention to the enemy. I keep my eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. (See Nehemiah 6:3.)

    16. I know my God, and I am strong. I do great exploits on the earth. (See Daniel 11:32b.)

    17. I build the Lord’s house before my own, that He may take pleasure in it and be glorified. (See Haggai 1:8.)

    18. I look for much and receive much. I bring much home, and the Lord preserves it. He does this for me because I build His house first, before my own. (See Haggai 1:9.)

    19. I have sown much, and I bring in much. I eat and always have enough. I drink and am filled. I clothe myself and am warm. I earn wages and the Lord preserves the wages. The Lord does these things for me because I build His house before my own. (See Haggai 1:6.)

    20. The Lord is with me, and His Spirit stirs up my spirit to build. (See Haggai 1:13-14.)

    21. I am strong, and I work to build, for the Lord is with me. (See Haggai 2:4.)

    22. From this day forward, the Lord blesses me, because I build His house. (See Haggai 2:19.)

    23. I am a wise person who builds my house on the Rock, Jesus Christ, and on all His principles and His Word. I build my home and everything I do on the solid Rock of God, and I cannot be moved when storms come. (See Matthew 7:24-27.)

    24. “According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it” (1 Corinthians 3:10 NKJV).

    25. The work that I build on the foundation of Jesus Christ endures, for I only build as I am instructed by the Lord. The Lord rewards me every day for my Spirit-led building. (See 1 Corinthians 3:14.)

    Beloved, God is a builder. And since you were created in His image, you were made to build too.
