In this simple prayer series, I am sharing one Scripture verse or passage each day. I will also add bullet-point prayer directives you can use to pray through that Scripture. I won’t be writing out actual prayers, though; I feel the Lord wants you to exercise your prayer muscles by talking to Him right out of your heart!

Today, Day 13, we are asking God to reward you because God is not unjust to forget your work.

    Hebrews 6:10-12 says:

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Hebrews 6:10-12).

Friend, let me encourage you today:

21 More Days of Breakthrough Prayer

Do you need breakthrough in the toughest times? If so, the 21 days of detailed, bullet-point prayer directives in this book will encourage you, equip you, and help you receive the miracles you need from the Lord!

God is faithful, and He is just. Faithfulness and justice are not attributes God can put on and take off, like a coat or mantle; He IS these things, through and through–and He can never be anything else.

    Second Timothy 2:11-13 says this:

This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him.

If we deny Him, He also will deny us. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself” (2 Timothy 2:11-13, emphasis mine).

Beloved, God cannot deny Himself. He cannot be less than who He is; it’s not possible.

And God is faithful, so He will always be faithful to you.

I know it’s hard to wait sometimes. I understand the frustration of feeling like your work is bearing no fruit. I understand fully how hard it is to wait for the promises to manifest.

But beloved, God is just. His Word specifically says that He would have to be unjust in order to let you down, and He will never be unjust. It’s not possible. His Word also says that He would have to be faithless in order to let us down–but He will never be faithless.

Therefore, my friend, do not let sluggishness overtake you.

Stand up. Strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, that what is lame may not be dislocated, but may rather be healed. Stand up, and “imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

Pray through the prayer points below, reminding God and confessing that God is not unjust to forget your work:
