Prophetic Prayer for 2024

Beloved, do you want God to do for you all those things that are above and beyond, in accordance with His Word, in 2024? If so, I wrote a prophetic prayer for 2024 that you can pray throughout the year. It’s a prayer that expresses the fondest desires of many people’s hearts, and I pray it will resonate with you as you lift it up to the Father.

With no further ado, let’s go to the Lord and pray this prayer for 2024 together:

“Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in Jesus’ name.

Abba Father, thank You for the marvelous gifts of 2023. Thank You for getting me through the good times and bad. Thank You for healing me, making me well and whole, and doing a wonderful work in my life. I honor You and praise You for who You are, and for Your faithfulness to me. Thank You.

Father God, as we go into 2024–and as we progress further along in 2024–I fully confess that I need You:

• I can’t do anything without You, even though I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
• I need Your grace and mercy.
• I need Your wisdom every single day.
• I need Your provision.
• I need to meet You in the quiet hours.
• I need to feel You with me every moment of every day.
• I need Your grace flowing through me.
• I need Your strength and help.
• I need You to uphold me with Your righteous right hand.

Holy Father, I do need You. And I thank You that You are mindful that I am but dust.

You made me needy; You created me to be fully dependent on You. And I sure am, Lord. I acknowledge that, and I don’t dare take a step in this life without Your leading me that way–especially in this year, this time, this place in my life. (And forevermore, Lord!)

Abba, I have learned more and more about how dependent on You I am as I have gotten older, and I know I will get more dependent on You the rest of my life. Thank You that Your grace is sufficient for me, for Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. And thank You that Your mercies are new every day.

But Father, as we go into 2024 and move through 2024, there are some things I am asking You to do for me.

Specifically:

1. Help me to hear Your voice more clearly than I have ever heard Your voice.

Help me to not take a step unless You direct me to take it, Lord. Your Word says that he sins who hastens with his feet. Please keep me from hastening with my feet; keep me from sinning against You. Keep me in Your perfect will, Lord.

2. If there are any doors You desire to open for me, then please open them and help me walk through them.

But if there are any doors You desire to close for me, then please close them–and help me not to regret those closed doors, but to move easily and freely with You wherever You lead.

3. Please make a way for me to serve others more.

I love people, Father. I love both Your people and sinners too. Please open the doors for me to serve others, and I pray that You would touch them through me more than ever before in my whole life.

4. Please make ways, plural, for me to GIVE to others more than I have ever given.

I love to give, Father; You have given me Your heart to give, and it is more blessed to give than to receive. But it hurts my heart when I want to give, but I don’t have the resources it takes TO meet the need that is in front of me.

So this year, Father, I’m asking You to make a way for me to give away cars and houses and groceries and coats and clothing and all manner of things to those in need, please, in Jesus’ name.

5. Please use my hands to heal in 2024.

You have appointed me to different kinds of healing ministry than you have appointed to others around me, but the ways in which You use me to heal are mighty and important, even if most people don’t understand. Please, please, Father: use me to heal others, to bring salvation and deliverance to others, in 2024. Thank You.

6. Please help me to become more organized than ever before.

Your Word says that to whom much is given, much shall be required; and I know that I am required at this point to pay the price of getting organized in order to sustain the “much” that You have given me.

Please help me, Father, for organization is not my natural strong suit. Please anoint me for planning, for carrying out plans, and for getting and staying organized, in Jesus’ name. And let it all be done by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

7. Please improve my relationships in 2024–all of them.

I pray You would bring me the people who will love me like I love them, and that we would love one another like You desire us to do. Please deliver me from false friendships, and from people who turn on you at a moment’s notice, as soon as the friendship is challenged.

Bring me people who are tried and true, who value Your Word above all else, and who will do everything it takes to dwell with me and my family together in unity according to Your Word, in Jesus’ name.

8. Please align my priorities with Yours in this year.

For example:

• Help me to keep work in its proper place–AFTER all the more important things.
• Help me to seek You first every single day, and to seek Your righteousness (and I know that all the things I need will be added unto me when I do).
• Help me to invest purposefully into my marriage and family and other important relationships.
• Help me to take the time and pay the price to invest fully in my health and welfare; in my spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, relational, and financial well-being. Thank You, Abba.

9. And over my finances, I plead the blood of Jesus in 2024.

Father, please help me to steward my finances the way You want me to do. Show Yourself to me as my Glory and the Lifter of my head in every way, and particularly when it comes to money.

In Jesus’ name, Father, I ask that You would restore to me the years the locusts have eaten. Make the thief–the devil–pay back to me seven times over everything that has been stolen from me, I pray, in Jesus’ name.

I also ask:

• That You would make me fabulously wealthy in 2024.
• Help me to tithe and offer the way Your Word tells me to, so that I CAN receive all the financial blessing Your Word promises.
• Help me to know when to save money, when to give money, and when to spend money, in Jesus’ name. And let me never confuse those three things.
• Help me to get on a budget, stay on a budget, and respect my budget at all times.
• Make me a good manager of cash.
• Make me a better steward than I have ever been before; help me continually to be a better steward today than I was even yesterday.
• Let my retirement contributions be fully funded in 2024.
• Let me earn a good, full salary–with bonuses and blessings and raises and promotions.
• Let my business thrive in 2024. And if I’m in the wrong business that can’t thrive, take me out of it and put me in the right business that CAN thrive.
• Help me to keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love another.
• (And if you have debts, pray here: “Lord, please help me to pay off every single debt I owe to anyone in 2024. Let all my debts be paid in full in the name of Jesus.”)

10. For my health, I thank You for manifesting Your healing in me in 2024.

Your Word says that by the stripes of Jesus I am already healed; I was healed on the day when Jesus shed His blood. Thank You! So in 2024, I thank You that I feel better every day; that any diseases, sicknesses, allergies, or malfunctions that have been in my body are cured; and that my body walks in total alignment with Your healing by the blood of Jesus.

As we walk through this year together, Lord, I ask that You would help me take all the steps necessary to implement and preserve my healing that You paid for with the blood of Jesus:

• Help me to exercise and eat healthy foods.
• Help me to remember to take all my vitamins or medications.
• Help me to drink plenty of water for my body every day.
• Help me to make wise and healthy choices in all things.
• And I ask that every part of my body–including my brain, and my ability to think, pay attention, concentrate, and remember–would be in tip-top shape this year, better than it has ever been.

11. I pray for greater dreams and opportunities, according to Your will.

Lord, for so long I have been grateful and content where I am. And I pray that I would continue to be grateful and content, for these things are pleasing to You.

However, Father, I feel You stirring me when I didn’t even desire to be stirred. I sense You waking me up to some dreams that I had discarded long ago.

Therefore, in 2024, please help all the dreams and opportunities You have for me to come to fruition. Wake me up to hear Your voice and dream Your dreams more than I ever have before, and I’ll give You all the glory.

12. Finally, I pray that my family would be blessed in 2024 in all things, more than we have ever been blessed before.

• Bring unity to my family more than we have ever had before–the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace.
• Make my marriage stronger than it has ever been before.
• Make me a better parent than I have ever been before.
• May my children enter into a state of shalom peace–nothing missing, nothing broken, everything right and just as it should be–more than ever before.
• Help my children and I, and even my spouse, to know You better than we have ever known You–and to love You more than we have ever loved You. Let us give You the love and worship that You’re so worthy of, Father. Draw us to Yourself.
• Help us to be faithful in church attendance this year, and help us to attend the church You desire us to attend.
• Let everything about my family life be a slice of Heaven on earth.
• Let us love one another as You have loved us.
• Help us have more fun together than we have ever had before: good, wholesome, holy, family fun that creates memories and builds relationships.

Father, I thank You for another year of LIFE, and life abundant.

You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. I thank You for yet another chance to see Your mercies and Your faithfulness at work and active in my life. And with Jabez of old, I pray:

O, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory! That Your hand would be with me; that You would keep me from evil; that I would not cause pain!

Thank You, Abba Father. Thank You, Lord Jesus; and thank You, precious Holy Spirit. I give You all the praise and honor and glory. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen and amen.”
